A tiny gray kitten squealed at his mother's side, mewling gently. "My little Stormkit, quiet your mewls. You will be safe now, from all of the fools. No matter what they say or do, remember that I will always love you..." his mother, Ashwing, sung a quiet lullaby. Stormkit had been bullied by all the Clan. "Mama, why do they hate me...?" he mumbled quietly, looking up at her sadly. His eyes were full of tears, and under his eyes his fur was stained from crying. "Oh my little baby... They don't understand the pain you've went through. Trust me, your beautiful, no matter what any cat says." Ashwing pulled him close with her tail. "B-but... Aren't I always beautiful...?" Stormkit whimpered, nuzzling her fur. He ha no idea what his face looked like. "My darling. The reason they hate you, is... It's your jaw. Your jaw is twisted.". "B-but..." Stormkit whimpered, curling up next to her. He hid his face in his own tail, sobbing, as rain began to patter in the cold camp.
