I just looked at Bramblestar's family tree and figured that he's related to Firestar. I saw Dovewing on the tree. If he's related to Dovewing, he must be related to Firestar too!

So technically

"There will be 3, kin of your kin"

Could have been any cat because loads of cats are related to Firestar in some way or another.
