So I got inspiration from Krystal-Moon-Waters Fintastic Mermaid Book and decided to go on pinterest and learn how to draw a mermaid.

So first what I did was I made a sketch of a regular person

Then I made the line for where the tail begins

From there I took a few minutes to sketch out the tail, making sure it was even on both sides.

The scales are just circles with dots in some of them (found that idea on pinterest, not too bad)

After that I colored the tail with two shades of blue and moved onto the hair, face, and rest of the upper body

There felt like there was something missing so I added the dots on the arms and the necklace (which is just a shell emoji on a black line XD)

And the bikini top was also an idea from pinterest

So
