Okay so I wanted to talk about all this sure he made Toothless another tail fin BUT ! I was thinking back on how many time hiccup had to replace it with a spare in the show cuz it prob fell off of ripped or something . So how long would toothless's tail fin last?? .

Cause hiccup only pulled it together in a few hours , It was probably meant for a short amount of time ! So I'm wondering how long would it last before it Broke again ? Like I was thinking what if toothless's had to g9 back to ( New ) Berk to have hiccup get him a new tail ?

Cause nothing last's forever , So I'm honestly a little puzzled so dreamworks it probably would've made more sense if you were to have his tail fin be growing back ! So here's what I've got in replacement for the plot line dreamworks came up with chase in my opinion the movie wasn't all that great so here :

What if grimmel was close to killing Toothless the first time ? Not the time hiccup shot him down but he was on the hunt for Toothless cause his family kills dragons obviously. So years later after he had hunt down many night fury's he immediately recognized Toothless cause maybe green eyes nightfury are rare .

So in the beginning the groups doesn't work well together ( imma include heather Maya and Dagur as Like helpers but not there all the time ) but grimmel doesn't have the light fury , He realizes he cannot take down the alpha of the dragons himself  , so he's thinking and that's when hiccup and Toothless stumble across the light fury . Grimmel hatches his evil plan blah blah , Hiccup doesn't even see stormfly land close by .

And boom the light fury scared off , cue toothless's ' Srsly ? ' face . And so grimmel threatens them that he will capture the lightfury if he doesn't hand over his dragon somthin like that . And so hiccup builds Toothless a new tail so he can fly on his own and as soon as Toothless leaves he heads straight to make sure the the lightfury safe .

And so light fury shows him the hidden world grimmel manages to catch ruffnut he lets her go she leads him back and valka is patrolling the island and she see's his ships and as she goes to warn hiccup and everyone grimmel sneaks up on Berk to catch all the dragons . Including the lightfury , when hiccup and Toothless see's this they go after him .

But as toothless's tail starts giving out they crash grimmel stand on his flying thing holding a crossbow towards the light fury , The others are stuck on Fighting and grimmel says " I will let her go , If you give me the nightfury otherwise she's dead " " Why do you want him so bad?! " Hiccup hollers And so grimmel explains Toothless was the first nightfury he ever tried tracking down and he was there to finally end it .

As hiccup tries fighting back Toothless makes the decision himself and jumps on front of hiccup " Toothless !! " Hiccup shouts as grimmel men locked up Toothless . Grimmel chuckles as he drops the lightfury to the ground and flies away , " no , no no " Hiccup says to himself as the lightfury knocked out .

The rest of Berk walk up to take in the scene as grimmel is still flying away hiccup snaps " This is all your fault ! " He screeches to his ' Friends ' They looked shocked " Our fault ?! " Ruffnut says " Excuse me - " Hiccup cut her off " No ! You can't even work together as a team ! "

" Sotlout acting so stuck up like your better then everyone else ! But in reality your the worst on the team ! " " Tuffnut ! Always to found of your fake beard when you should be looking out for others ! And fishlegs to worried about your baby dragon to realize theirs a battle going on ! "

" ruffnut leading grimmel here ! " he groaned walking to the edge of the cliff and sitting down , " Hiccup - " " not now Astrid " " Hey - no listen , if Toothless didn't care about you and the lightfury would he have given himself up ? " She asked " No . . But- "

" so the hiccup I know always knows what to do dragon or no dragon , and right now we have to do something " cue the other riders walking up behind them " So what are you gonna do about it ? " She asked he shrugged " I dunno , probably something stupid " he said .

" good , but you've already done that " she explained , Hiccup looked up to see toothless's ripped of tail fin that he had made only hours before . He looked up to the lightfury and his eyes went wide " then something crazy ! " He said running down the hill bake to his hut to witch everyone followed .

He gave all the ( Main ) riders the wings to their suits ( they didn't have hen before cuz they didn't train with them enough ) and they re unsure cause they were only ever used once . But they go to the boat and starting kickin ass ! , They manage to free some of the dragons .

Tuffnut has barf and belch and see's ruffnut about to get hit and he flies in and grabs her quickly " I thought you hated me ?! " She cried " now way sis ! I couldn't hate you forever or my dashingly beautiful beard " he said as he brushed it for the hundredth time . 

Dagur Mala and heather come to help fishlegs and when a guard pushes him down the baby attacks , snot lout see's hiccups struggle as he is battling alone and goes to help him . Suddenly hiccup is about to get his but a blast throws the weapon out of the guys hand .

Hiccup looked up and saw the light fury , who quickly disappeared again . When everyone is battling he realizes he needs to get Toothless and grimmel is after him so he quickly leaps onto the lightfury " Trust me , please " he whispers to himself and the lightfury who is struggling to get him off .

Hiccup manages to gain some control as they knock out grimmels men together , he quickly cuts Toothless loose but realize she doesn't have his tail fin Grimmel is attached to his leg and he whispers " Save him " Before letting go " Hiccup ! " Astrid cries as she watches her boyfriend fall .

The lightfury brings Toothless to safety before going to get hiccup as she does he takes off his leg and grimmel falls to his supposal death . As hiccup and the gang land back he is now hoping over to Toothless .

A few days later the lightfury shows them the hidden world and they find an island that they can build a new Berk on , But when the lightfury leaves hiccup watches as Toothless looks to his friend and the dragon he loves . And all he does is walk over and take his saddle off .

" go on bud " soon the other rides get the message taking the saddles off their dragons setting them free to go live in the hidden world . Years later Toothless came over when he felt his tail fin needing a change , and the other dragons coming along to see their riders .

Toothless meets hiccups kids and hiccups meets toothless's
