I have a mini, foldable slate for notes and such. I draw on it sometimes too. So, I drew this last year... I'll try to do more, since it looks really cool with the reversed colors in my opinion. Or it can be a satisfying challenge when you're shading "backwards," if you know what I mean. I used a soapstone chalk pencil (you can kind of see it on the right of the slate).

I also did a drawing of a geisha. You might have seen this on Google Plus under a different name, but that's still me! (Just so you know I'm not stealing others' art... I'm no Walter Keane. Ugh. Poor Carolyn.)

And, for randomness, I made a little pottery teapot when I had my pottery classes in the summer. (Yes, it actually works). The lighting is really terrible (gotta love winter), but in real life, it's a navy blue.
