It's come to my attention that for the longest I've never explained the superpower system I came up with so sit back relax and prepare to hear some weird ass shit!

So since I was in sixth grade I had come up with a form of super human abilities called helix's which were powers that came from trauma or a life or death situation and since then I've been refining it over the years and now I think I can (almost)confidently say I can explain how it works

Now as I just stated a helix is a super power that comes when a person experiences a life long traumatic event or life or death situation where the body goes into such if state of thinking the body a going to die they begin to go into overtime and the after result is a helix which helps the person handle the situation

These can honestly be from anything from having your arm broken or torn off to being melted yes getting melted can cause you to have a helix but what type of helix you get now that's a different story all together

There are four different types of helix's they are known as elemental,manipulation,destroyer,and paradox and I will explain these in the order they were mentioned

So first off are the elemental helix's and well their name should be a dead give away they create the elements of different varieties ranging from basic elements such as fire ice stone air that sorta shit

But then you get to more complex elements such as ones from the periodic table going from things such as copper to xenon but then comes the problem with being an elemental helix

Their usually one trick ponies in terms of what their powers can do but that doesn't mean they can't get creative in what they can do elemental helix's can become very very dangerous if a incredibly intelligent person gains one below are some creative examples elemental helix users have made with their helix

•flame helix user made special flammable liquid they put into their sword and used it to super heat the blade and even extend its reach with a literal blade of fire and even super heats the ground to use simple molten rock attacks

•air helix user makes near invisible armor around themself along with near invisible weapons making it nearly impossible for their opponents to hit them

•bismuth helix user makes complex mazes and labyrinths to confuse enemies and can spiral unexpected attacks out of nowhere

And those are examples of how creative elemental helix users can get but next are honestly my favorite to screw my brain with

The manipulation helix's and their also a dead give away they manipulate stuff like how a electrokenetic manipulates electricity manipulators can manipulation whatever they can do some ranging from manipulating diamonds to manipulating oxygen now

The problem with manipulators is their limited to what they can manipulate meaning if you were to fight a person who could manipulate solid rock in a quarry your screwed as fuck but fight them in space or the ocean their gonna fucking lose

But again creativity can be the best way to use a manipulation helix because a creative manipulator with a rare object they can only manipulate will try and gain large amounts of it to store up for later

A few examples of how some manipulators got creative will be below

•a dust manipulator learned to make small unseeable cages of dust to trap others and use small strings of dust to slice people in half

•a shadow manipulator using a persons shadow to control them like a puppet and learning to hide in shadows

•a iron manipulator using smelted iron to make suits of incredibly strong armor and weapons for their kingdom

Manipulators are a pain in the ass to come up with but they are awesome in the end but now for my personal favorites the destroyer helix's!!!

Now destroyer helix's are your more physically apparent helix's these helix's make new organs or features to help with the helix users body since the helix itself may be to destructive without these features but they run into the same problem elementals do their one trick ponies

Not in the sense their dumb or uncreative it's just their helix's are if not the most limited in what they can do since their extra features can only handle what their helix does now what this means is that a destroyer helix is often a hand to hand fighter some can be long range but it's hard to find a long range destroyer helix

But there are those with destroyer helix's who use the limits of their helix to their advantage since the more simple a destroyer helix is the more they can experiment below are some examples of some ways destroyer helix users use their helix

•a explosion destroyer helix user eats edible materials to fuel their explosions and has learned to use his explosions for speed and defense by burrowing into the earth

•a destroyer helix who has the ability to create physical objects out of their bio electricity by making long blades on their legs for powerful kicks and slashed along with portals only they can use

•a destroyer who can produce powerful star like novas from their hands but need to refuel by drinking alcohol so they learned to make their attacks as destructive as possible without taking away to much of his fuel reserves

And these are just three examples of how destroyers can use their helix to their fullest potential and now for some of the more broken helix's and that be paradox helix's

Paradox helix's are your reality benders they can change some aspect of reality to however they see fit or make small zones of reality that have become to known as pockets where the reality inside is usually based off that of games

Games such as freeze tag red light green light and Truth or dare though paradox's have a set of rules that must be followed to get a paradox the first rule is you can't be human or a humanoid species oddly enough humanoid aliens are an exception rule two is a bit more flexible which is you must be dead though it has been shown this rule is optional and the third rule is you must make a deal with some sorta higher power

These three rules help define a paradox helix but do to how vague their abilities can be paradox helix's constantly experiment with their helix to get an idea of how it works below are some paradox helix users who've made clever ways of using their helix

•a ghost who became a living pocket dimension stores weapons and items for combat and opens themself as a portal to make attacks pass through them or capture the attacker

•a paradox helix user who has the ability to make a small forest like area where anyone who enters must follow the rules of truth or dare And the user has learned to make dares that make it near impossible for anyone to attack them

•a paradox helix user who's become a being that can change their size manipulate gravity and make copies of their self to make complex on the fly battle strategies

Paradox's are fun to come up with the hard part is finding the limit to their power but next up isn't another type of helix but a state a helix user can enter to unleash their helix as a pure physical manifestation

This state is known as a DRVE state it stands for Desperate,Reactive,Vexing,Emergency yes I know it doesn't make sense when ya say it like that but it's the best I honestly got

But a drve is a helix at its most powerful in a physical state each type of helix has a unique appearance to their drve states

Elementals well become elementals along with whatever they hold a sword becomes a literal fire sword if their a fire helix user a simple card could become an unstoppable lightning bolt in the shape of a card

Manipulators gain an armor of what they manipulate be it a simple cloak or a full blown suit of armor their helix's also gain new features to them such as a shadow manipulator can make shadow copies of someone or a glass manipulator can make glass nearly indestructible and highly flexible

Destroyers can honestly appear as whatever their helix sees fit be it a hulking monster who can turn indestructible or a harpy with a hyper sonic scream because half the time when a destroyer enters their drve they just go berserk

And paradox helix's who knows what that'll end up looking like it's a complete mystery as to what their gonna appear as heck if anything their the hardest to come up with for drve states but one thing is for certain a paradox drve allows the helix to go into overdrive and make their reality bending absolute meaning even if the drve ends whatever they caused in it will have a lasting effect on the real world

But other then that that's all the info I can give about helix's without spoiling a lot of things but here's a fun challenge to you lovable psychopaths below I will put the types of helix's and you yourselves can make a helix all you need to do is make a name for it it's type obviously and what it does and how it's drve can increase its power have fun I can't wait to see what you make!
