So I was thinking, what If anxiety/Virgil use to be a dark side (Idk if he is or not)
And he use to be friends with deceit.
This would take place right after accepting anxiety episode, and Virgil is telling deceit about how he is starting to feel accepted. Then deceit gets angry that he is abandoning him and all the other dark sides, so he leaves and Virgil doesn't know If he can trust him anymore, and that's why when he asked Patton/Morality"If they were really friends?" It was because he knew that deceit was there shapeshifted as Patton. Idk that was just a headcanon.
