Fandom aka the Voltron Cyberpunk AU where the good ships are canon and not dead because of the 'bury your gays' trope :)

Sooooo like...
Idk if you know what Leakira is, but i guess I'll try to explain it :)

After season seven of Voltron
The fandom was upset that they killed off the only gay characters
Such as Adam who was Shiros Fiancé and Adam only had 30sec-1 minute of screentime, and Ezor/Zethrid a ship that came out of nowhere and was canon...until they died...the same episode they were revealed in....

Also klance isn't canon which made fans even more sad/mad because the two boys had a lot of tension and so much history. They also said that Lance would have a slow burn relationship (Keith is the only slow burn relationship in the show I swear)
And that he would not be a rebound (*cough* allura*cough*)

So everyone was expecting Lance to end up with Keith, but sadly he didn't (yet 😉) and everyone was PISSED! So the fandom decided to create a 'reboot' /AU of Voltron called 'Defenders of Tomorrow' and klance is canon and Adam is alive (I'm unsure of Zethrid/Ezor) and they changed their names so:
Lance=Leandro (BC his middle name??? Or because it's his Hispanic name or smth like that)

Keith=Akira (his Korean name)

So the ship name is Leakira
And it's honestly really cute

I'm still salty about season 7 and I'm scared for season 8 since it's the last season and lance is Alluras rebound and her liking him care out of nowhere and was really rushed and I'm salty!!!!!
