God of Wealth

The original Beigoma Academy Bey Club is finally complete!

Here's Wakiya!

Wakiya is the God of Wealth. As the patron of riches, he is always depicted wearing very colorful clothing, with incredibly flashy jewelry crowning every limb. He acts very condescending and narcissistic, always willing to flaunt his rich appearance; stereotypical of someone with lots of riches. His outfit is decorated with things that are believed to bring wealth, like the crane and orchids. Yet despite his shortcomings, he has a noble heart that recognizes, respects, and rewards hard work.

It was he who taught humans the value of riches. He taught them the importance of working towards self-improving oneself both personally and economically. He taught them how to gain wealth, but also how easy it is to lose it; he taught them how to play one's cards close to their chest. And in his mind, if you work hard for your wealth, you have the right to flaunt it, if only to inspire others to also work hard.

All of the riches in the world are said to come from his influence, so people pray to him often for help in acquiring just a little. If they put their blood, sweat, and tears into their work, he may just offer his influence towards achieving the wealth they dream of. But as much as he gives wealth, he can also take it away. If someone gains riches without working hard for them (in other words, stealing it), his influence will eventually drain them dry.

What do you think of God Wakiya?

And knock down the doors of the Snake Pit, because Boa is up next!

To keep the list going, who do you want to see as a god next?

And in case it hasn't become obvious, I have started school recently, so I may be a little late with my updates. I promise to try and keep up!
