God of the Sky
I have about a dozen other projects to do, but drawing gods sounds INFINITELY more fun at the moment!
Here's Kit!
Kit is the God of the Sky. He's usually a very cheerful god, though his emotions can change rapidly, just like the weather. As the day progresses, his attire color changes to match the color of the sky of whatever part of the world he is currently in. His cloud-like hair and built-in flags in his sleeves are always moving and billowing, as if there is a hidden breeze moving through them.
His job is to simply watch over events on Earth. That may sound mundane, but it's actually a very useful job. No one can truly hide from the sky, which means no one can hide from him. He knows everything about everyone, including other gods. People sometimes pray to him if they're unsure if the other gods will answer them, which also makes him associated with messages. With this side job, he sometimes acts as a messenger between gods.
For this piece, I decided to go back to my roots and used Ibis Paint X. Mostly because it has an awesome symmetry tool selection that Procreate sadly doesn't have, which is what I use to make the designs in the background. And honestly, it's refreshing to go back to an older program, one that I already know how to use. That being said, I still need to experiment with Procreate so I can get a better feel of the tools.
With that in mind, I will continue to use Ibis Paint X with the God AU. Baby steps.
What do you think of God Kit?
And don't worry - Fubuki is up next!
