God of Puppetry

Here's Ken!

Ken is the God of Puppetry. He is naturally mute and communicates by psychically moving the two canine puppets attached to the bamboo shoots in his hair. Besu, the brown canine, showcases a more cheerful personality while Keru, the blue canine, speaks with a very standoff-ish demeanor. While these are two very different personalities, Ken is normally very polite and friendly, though also incredibly shy for a god.

There are yards of string wrapped around his arms and yards of several colors of fabric attached to his waist. These come from Ken himself, so there is no end to their abundance. They are mostly for his use if he's in the mood to create a puppet, but the real magic lies in his strings. They are distendable, and with them, he is able to psychically manipulate and speak through any puppet he creates without having to touch them.

The effect applies to humans as well if they come into physical contact with the strings.

It was he who taught humans the twin arts of puppetry and ventriloquism, both as a way to further express themselves creatively and as a freedom to speak without having to use their actual voices. Though he also has a bit of a trickster side. If he's feeling especially bored, he'll visit any village and use his strings to turn the villagers into his own little puppet show, which usually results in hilarious outcomes.

What do you think of God Ken?

And let me know who you want to see as a god next!
