Here's Daigo!

Daigo is the God of Deliverance. As one who deals with spirits, he is a very somber god - it is incredibly hard to make him laugh, even by god standards. That being said, his dark attitude says nothing towards his kindness, as he treats all the poor souls he comes across with gentleness and respect.

His job is to safely deliver the souls of the deceased to the Spirit World. He relies on his ghostly feline companions, summoned through the skulls on his scythes, to gather the souls and bring them to his spiritual convoy so he can protect all of them. Demons gain strength by consuming the souls of the dead, and a lone soul is considered a consumed soul, so he and his felines must always be alert to ensure that every single spirit is delivered safely to Jin, the God of the Spirit World. He and Daigo stand by the same motto: "Everyone deserves an afterlife."

Through him, it is widely believed that cats are the protectors of spirits, and it is rare to find a household without one. There is no end to how many feline companions he can summon, and the felines themselves can grow and shrink at will, depending on what is needed. Daigo himself is always depicted wearing black clothing, symbolizing that he is always in mourning for the spirits he delivers. However, he is also always depicted wearing armor, for he is always ready for a fight.
