I might actually talk about this piece, it's been a while since I've done that

So uh, first thing you might notice: it's messy. And the reason for that is I sketched it one day, tried to give her bird feet, and about gave up at that point. Came back the next day, added her clothes, hair, completely redid her face, and sketched out her wings. (spoiler alert, I don't like her left hand. In fact, I don't like hands. Hands are hard. I should do some studies and actually learn how to draw them. Anyway)

And by that point, I was like "okay, I like how this is going, and I wanna show Ren, but I can't just show them a messy sketch cuz that's no fun."

(Also fun fact, line art is one of my least favorite parts of drawing—although it's more fun with pressure sensitivity, since you've got some nice line weight variation going on, anyway)

So I was like okay, I can just slap some colors in here and maybe some super messy shading/lighting, play around with color theory that I know but can't apply, etc

And so I did that

Her eyes match her shoes, did you notice

Anyway, I did have a color scheme going into this, and I actually think the colors worked really well—and I hand picked them myself, no multiply layers, which was fun

But yeah, uh, that's kind of all I have to say. There's some minor things wrong with it, but I don't feel like pointing them out, because if I don't you might not notice them
