"Cube's okay?" Mel asked Mikaela while she tied her white hair up into a ponytail.

Mikaela nodded as she held onto the cube, "Yeah, it's fine."

Sam looked between the two, "Put the seat belt on it." Mel rolled her eyes in annoyance as Mikaela did so. Sam looked out the window, "There's Optimus." Mel waved at Optimus and the others causing them to make a sharp U-turn and honk their horns. Bonecrusher came into view, growling as he sped closer. Sam looked behind the girls and out the window, "No, no, no, no, no."

Mikaela looked behind too, "What?"

"It's the same cop! Block them, block them, block them."

Bonecrusher transformed and jumped. Bonecrusher would have landed on Bumblebee if Bee didn't hit the brakes causing Bonecrusher to go flying over him. Optimus skidded on his brakes before transforming with a growl.

Bonecrusher turned and let out a low growl, "PRIME!" He roared as the fight began while Bee and the others sped off towards the safety.

Lennox jumped out of the army truck followed by his team, "Come on, let's go! Mount up!"

"Move out! Move out! Go! Go!" Another soldier yelled.

Lennox grabbed the radios from his pockets and passed them out, "Here, I got shortwave radios."

Epps held up his after looking at it, "Wait. What am I supposed to do with these?"

"Well, use them! It's all we got!"

"This is like RadioShack dinosaur radios or something, man. I'm only gonna get 20 or 30 miles out of these things. Are there any aircraft orbiting the city?" Epps questioned before looking up. "F-22 at twelve o'clock."

Lennox nodded, "All right, I want planes for air cover and get Black Hawks on station to extract that Cube. You got it?" The team nodded.

"Air Force has arrived! Pop smoke!" Lennox yelled before throwing a smoke ball.

"Raptor, Raptor, do you copy? We have you visual. Green smoke is the mark. Provide air cover and vector Black Hawks for extraction." Epps spoke into the walkie-talkie.

Ironhide looked up and went wide-eyed, "It's Starscream!"

Epps knew that was a bad sign, "Please tell me you copy." Civilians and Soldiers were yelling and shouting, running around.

"Back up! Take cover! Bumblebee!" Bee ran over to Ironhide and helped him flip over a truck.

"No, no, no! Move!" Lennox yelled while he and Epps ran towards Mel who was running to them.

"Back up! Back up!" Ironhide was backing up.

"Retreat! Fall back!" A soldier yelled.

"Incoming!" Ironhide yelled as Starscream shot a missile, "Unnnh!" Screams were let out as the missile hit. Epps and Lennox pushed Mel to the ground shielding her with their bodies.

"Anybody hurt? Everyone okay?" A soldier called out as the dust settled. Epps and Lennox uncovered Mel to show a gash above her brow. Lennox ripped off a piece of his shirt and placed it on her forehead.

"Lennox I'm fine, ok?" Mel told him even though the gash hurt like hell. Lennox rolled his eyes as he continued to hold the cloth in place.

"Clear the area!" someone shouted in the distance.

Bumblebee let out some electronic whining as Sam went over to him, "Oh my God. Bumblebee?" Bee let out more electric whining as Sam freaked out, "No. Your legs! Your legs." Bee tried to crawl, "Here. Here, back, back, back, back! You all right?" Bumblebee let out pained squeals, "Please get up. Bumblebee? Get up! Ratchet!"

Soldiers assorted indistinct shouting filled the air, "What the hell was that?" Lennox growled as he helped Mel up.

"What are you talking about?" Epps looked at him with a questioning look.

Lennox: "What do you mean, what am I talking about? They shot at us!" Lennox yelled.

Mel jumped in, "F-22 pilots would never fly below buildings. That's alien. That is part of the Decepticons! The bad guys!"

Sam looked shocked, "You got to get up. You're okay. You're okay." Bumblebee let out an electronic groan as Bee moved. "Come on!"

A voice came through the radio, "Army Black Hawk inbound to your location. Over."

Epps responded, "Alpha two seven three degrees, ten miles. November Victor, one point two clicks north." Civilians were screaming and shouting.

"I'm not gonna leave you," Sam told Bee as he let out electronic whining and growling.

Ironhide let out growls and grunts as he ran and jumped over a car causing a girl to let out a high pitch scream. Jazz followed Ironhide, "Come on, Decepticon punk!" Devastator let out a roar as he attacked.

Lennox and his team ran to help while he told (y/n) to go to Bee, "Concentrate your fire!" Lennox shouted as Devastator roared.

Megatron jumped to the top of a building, "Megatron!" He growled something indistinct as civilians shouted.

Jazz whipped around and went wide-eyed, "It's Megatron! Retreat!"

"Move!" Ratchet yelled.

"Fall back!"

"Fall back!" Lennox called out as Jazz yelled, "Get our guys out of the way! Get out of here! Go! Get them out of the buggy! Move out!'

Epps talked into the walkie-talkie, "We need air cover down here, now!"

Mikaela backed up a truck towards Bee, 'Sam, (y/n), help me with this."

Jazz: "That all you got, Megatron?" Jazz taunted.

Megatron growled, "Come here, little cretin."

"You want a piece of me? You want a piece?" Jazz was grabbed by Megatron. Mel noticed and ran over to a fallen soldier grabbing the shotgun and started shooting at Megatron to protect Jazz.

Megatron screamed and flew away. Jazz jumped down and scooped up Mel, "Why did ya do that little lady?"

"Family protects Family," Mel smirked.

"What's going on?" Lennox asked.

Burke spoke up, "Sir! That tank thing's getting back up."

Lennox exhaled and looked just about done with life, "Oh, these things just don't die." Blackout let out a roar, "Oh, we're so dead."

Sam: "Wrap it around the head." Sam told Mikaela.

Lennox ran over to them, "Sam! Where's the Cube?"

Sam pointed, "Right there."

"Okay." Lennox jogged over to Epps.

"And take that and wrap it around the base and then put it around his neck, okay?" Sam told Mikaela.

"Epps, get those Black Hawks here! That building." Lennox called out to Epps who nodded, "Okay."

Sam turned to Lennox who was coming back over, "What?"

"All right, I can't leave my guys back there, so here, take this flare. Okay, there's a tall, white building with statues on top. Go to the roof. Set the flare." Lennox explained.

"No."

"Signal the chopper and set the flare-"

"No, no. I can't do this!"

"Listen to me! You're a soldier now! All right? I need you to take this Cube. Get it into military hands while we hold them off, or a lot of people are gonna die." Lennox shoved the cube to Sams' chest, before pointing at Mikaela, "You got to go. You got to go."

"No, I'm not leaving," Mikaela told Lennox before a scream cut them off.

Megatron had swooped down and grabbed Mel making her scream that caught everyone's attention. Megatron jumped to a building keeping a tight hold on Mel practically squeezing her to death. "Megatron!" Optimus roared as he chased after Megatron.

"Give me the cube or the girl dies!" Megatron squeezed Mel again making her cry out in agony.

She sucked in a breath, "You- you'd kill your own sister?" Mel had tears streaming down her face from the pain.

Megatron's face twisted from one of anger to one of sadness and realization that he was killing his sister. This gave Optimus enough time to attack, he shoved into Megatron making him let go of Mel. Luckily Optimus caught her and held her to his chest, "You will be ok, Mel." Mel knew she wouldn't but still nodded. Optimus jumped down and carefully set her behind some debris.

"Prime!" Megatron roared.

"Megatron!"

Optimus grunted as Megatron hit him, "Humans don't deserve to live."

"One of them is our sister and they deserve to choose for themselves."

"I will spare her but you will die- with them! Join them in extinction!" Optimus grunted as Megatron attacked him again.

Lennox and Epps ran over to Mel and knelt by her quickly, checking for injuries. Epps applied pressure to Mel's ribs making her gasp in pain. "Robert move your hand," Mel growled. Epps pulled back his hand and looked over at Lennox with a concerned look. They lifted up her shirt to show the starting of bruising.

"You're fine," Lennox squeaked out.

"Lennox doesn't lie to me, I have internal bleeding and we all know it."

"Mel we're going to get you out of here, I promise," Epps told her with a stern look. Mel nodded as her face twisted to one of pain.

"Sam!" Optimus' voice boomed across the battlefield.

"What he do now?" Mel mumbled as Lennox was radioing in for a immediate medical transport. Megatron's dying growls came soon after that was asked. "Never mind, forget I asked."

"You left me no... choice, brother." Optimus sadly said before finally ending Megatron before turning to Sam, "Sam, I owe you my life. We are in your debt."

Lennox stood up, "We have medical air support transport coming to Mel. She's in bad condition."

"How bad is bad," Jazz asked as he stepped forward.

"She could die," Lennox told them simply as a helicopter came from above landing. No sooner did it land did several people come out with a gurney rushing over to Mel's side.

"Epps and I will be with her. We will alert you if anything happens," Optimus and the others nodded as they set Mel on the helicopter, Lennox and Epps getting on soon after.

Bumblebee looked towards Optimus, "Permission to speak, sir?"

Optimus nodded, "Permission granted, old friend."

Sam looked shocked, "You speak now?"

Bumblebee nodded, "I wish to stay with the boy."

Optimus smiled a little, "If that is his choice."

Sam broke out into a smile, "Yes."
