That morning, Chase went to his university as he needs to meet his lecturer. Chase is currently doing part-time study for his Master Degree in Music Studies. He checked on his watch and find out that he has around 30 minutes before the appointment. He then heads to the cafeteria and buy a drink before find a place to sit. He then took out his planner and check on his schedule. Then, suddenly;

"Well, well, well. Look who we have here" Chase looked up and saw 3 guys; Dinn, Ilyas, and Riz. Those 3 used to be in the same class as Chase and Hariz during Bachelor Degree but unlike Chase and Hariz, those 3 failed to graduate on time.

"Still not graduating I see" said Chase.

"We will be one day. Once we do so, we sure that plenty of recording companies will beg to sign us" said Dinn.

"Urrmm, that's not how it's works" replied Chase.

"We know what are we talking. An underground musician like you won't understand" said Ilyas.

"That's true. We're the locals. We have our own priviledge. We can be succesful fast. Aren't like you" said Riz then.

"Ah, that's true. When will you leave our country? It's a nuisance seeing white guy here" said Dinn.

"Then, when will you leave this world because seeing you still alive is a nuisance too" said Hariz that just came by. Just like Chase, Hariz also taking a part-time class for his Master Degree. Hariz was known as a brutal guy and known as someone that will use his fist if he needs to.

"Why are you backing him up? He's not a local" said Ilyas.

"Because he's my brother. Got a problem with that?" asked Hariz.

"Brother?" asked Dinn in returned.

"Yes. His mother and mine are sisters. Which means we're related by blood. So, 3 of you better go away before I made you graduated from this world first before you can graduate from this university" replied Hariz.

"Chill, bro. We're leaving now. C'mon boys" said Dinn before he and his friends quickly left.

"Is it really necessary to threat them?" asked Chase.

"Well, in this case, yes. Seriously. Why don't you fight back?" asked Hariz in returned.

"Because it just waste of time" replied Chase.

"Unbrainable" said Hariz.

That night;

All X-6 members are jamming as usual.

"So, guys. When is the next gig?" asked Mari.

"There is one in 2 weeks. Want to join?" asked Chase in returned.

"Of course" replied Hariz.

"Why not" said Matt then.

"Okay, then. I'll book a slot for us right away" said Chase before texting the organiser.

Meanwhile somewhere in Orlando, Florida, USA;

Jen paid a visit to neighbourhood where she grew up. Then, he passing a park that she and Chase met for the last time.

Before their last meet;

Jen is standing in front of the mirror in her room.

"Okay, Jennifer. This is the last chance to confess. If he rejected, nothing will change since I move back to England after this" said Jen alone. After a while, she wore her jacket and walked to the park where they promised to meet up.

End of flashback

"In the end, I didn't confess to him. I'm such a weak girl. Now, I won't get a chance to say it at all" muttered Jen alone.

"Who is him?" asked Korey that suddenly appeared.

"Oh my god. You give me a fright, Korey. What are you doing here?" asked Jen.

"I just move here with John. What are you doing here?" asked Korey in returned.

"Well, I used to live around here before moved back to England" replied Jen.

"So, this place holds a sentimental value for you, huh. With him" said Korey.

"That's true. This is the place where I meet him for the last time before we both move out from America; he to his motherland; Malaysia while I returned to England" replied Jen.

"So, what are both of you actually?" asked Korey.

"We're bestfriends since elementary school. We both planned to form a band after graduating from middle school. Just need a bassist and vocalist and we're set. But we failed to find any of it. But, we're never give up. We keep trying until then, we both need to move out" replied Jen.

"I see. So, you like him?" asked Korey.

"I do. I know it's wrong having a crush on my own bestfriend but I can't helped but feeling that way" replied Jen.

"There's nothing wrong having crush on a bestfriend. You can't compressed your feeling forever. But then, why you never tell him?" asked Korey.

"I'm afraid that things going to be awkward between us if he didn't feel the same" replied Jen.

"I see. But what if he feels the same?" asked Korey.

"I don't want to take the risk" replied Jen.

"So, did you ever contact him after you both move out?" asked Korey.

"No. I don't know how. I tried to search on social medias, but there are plenty users that used the same name. I don't know which one is him" replied Jen.

"He never contacts you?" asked Korey.

"No. Maybe he thought that I already forgot about him since now, I'm popular" replied Jen.

"Well, let's hope that we will find him in Malaysia during our concert tour so that you can prove that you're not like that" said Korey.

"Hope so. But I think he might dating someone now at least" replied Jen.

"Well, don't lose hope, okay" said Korey. Jen nodded before wrapped her arms around Korey's waist.

"Thanks, Korey" said Jen.

"No problem, Jen. You like my own sister" replied Korey.

"Not daughter?" asked Jen.

"No, I'm not that old to be your mother" replied Korey. Jen just giggled.

Few days later;

X-6 is getting ready for jamming that day.

"Sorry, guys. I'm a bit late" said Matt that just arrived.

"You okay, dude?" asked Hariz.

"I am. Let's start then" replied Matt.

"Okay, then" said Chase.

"Sorry but can I go to toilet for a while?" asked Matt.

"What? But we just play 2 songs" replied Chase.

"I know. I will be right back" said Matt before quickly went to the toilet.

"What's wrong with him?" asked Mari.

"Period pain maybe" replied Hariz causing Mari to throw one of her drumstick towards him. "Hey"

"Man got period pain? Really? Which school did you go?" asked Mari.

"Penang High School" replied Hariz.

"You must used some 'help' to get into that elite school since you're a dumbass" said Mari.

"Seriously, fighting at a time like this? What are you both, siblings?" asked Chase.

"Nearly but no" replied Mari.

"What do you mean?" asked Chase.

"Don't you know? Her mother is my dad's younger sister" replied Hariz.

"Really? So, technically only Matt that not related by blood with you" said Chase.

"That's true. So, you should thank me for bringing an international drummer into this band. Yeah, you're welcome, bro" replied Hariz while tossed back the drumstick to Mari.

"Whatever" said Chase. Then, Matt came back.

"So, how's your period pain?" asked Hariz.

"What?" asked Matt.

"Don't bother with that idiot brother of mine" said Mari.

"Wait, you both are siblings?" asked Matt.

"No, we're cousin" replied Hariz.

"Okay, guys. Let's continue" said Chase. The rest nodded. Then;

1 hour later;

All of them exiting the studio.

"Okay, guys. See you tomorrow" said Matt.

"Okay, Matt. Take care" replied Chase. Matt just nodded before quickly walked away.

"Why is he such in hurry?" asked Mari.

"Told you that he got period pain" replied Hariz causing Mari to kick his leg. "Hey"

"Whatever, bro. I'll be going now" said Mari.

"Okay, sis. Take care" said Hariz then. Mari just nodded before walked to her car and drive away.

"Let's go now, bro" said Hariz. Chase nodded before they walked to their car.

"Seriously, I have a bad feeling about Matt" said Chase.

"I know. He went to toilet after every 2 songs. Is he sick or something" replied Hariz.

"That's true. But, I think it's fine as long as it's not affecting his performance" said Chase.

"That's right. By the way, do you hear the news?" asked Hariz.

"What news?" asked Chase in returned.

"Skillets is having a concert tour in Asia. It will started in Japan and ended here in Malaysia" replied Hariz.

"Really? That's great" said Chase as both of them enters the car.

"You might meet your Jen again" replied Hariz.

"She's not mine. I'm sure she might at least dating someone right now" said Chase.

"Well, who knows. But it won't hurt to meet her, right? She used to be your bestfriend after all" replied Hariz as he drives the car.

"Yeah. I hope she will still recognise me" said Chase.

"She will be. I can guarantee that" replied Hariz.

"Finger crossed" said Chase.
