 Before I could go to bed or anything I remembered that I'd gotten excepted into my dream college and I knew I'd have to leave here and decided to go see Shadow.

You see no one actually goes near him because he has the tenancy to move on his own and make his animatronic body untouchable until I took over.

As a kid growing up I was use to the theme park that I called home because this was the place where I was most happy and knew well. 

Shadow my animatronic boyfriend was the best person I could talk to and share my darkest secrets with.

Kids would call me weird and creepy but I didn't pay them any mind, all I cared about was my animatronic boyfriend. I was the only one he ever let near him.

People started saying they saw him move without being turned on at the button like the others. They also started saying they thought he was possessed or something. Trying to make him sound like the FnaF characters. 

Even with people saying this, I never believed them when they said any of that and so I paid it no mind.

As soon as I got to the animatronics I went straight to Shadow who looked so real and so handsome. 

I couldn't help but talk to him even though guys at the theme park have tried to hook up with me but I always turned them down.

I immediately started talking and I felt so relaxed even though people would call it weird.

"Hey Shadow guess what? You ready? Okay here it is."

I pause before continuing with a grin on my face.

"I got excepted into my dream college, great I know but the other thing though is I'd miss you and I mean miss you like crazy that's for sure."

For some reason the thought and idea dawned on me and my smile started to fade as I realized I wouldn't be able to see Shadow for a long time. 

I mean I highly doubt my parents would through him away because he was the one thing that actually made me happy. 

Call me crazy but I could've sworn a few night's ago I feel asleep on one of the animatronics (it's dangerous, never do it).

Now I must've been cared by someone because I some how was in bed when I woke up but the person was a little cold and didn't feel completely human but I was too deep in sleep to check.

I started to feel sad thinking about how different it'll be without him and it was starting to make me tear up. I walked up to him and as soon as I hugged him I started to feel tears fall.

"Shadow I'll miss you, when I do leave please be good for the next person that looks after you. I probably won't return for a few years but when I do it'll be like old times unless things change."

I don't know why but my crying turned into sobs and as if I was in a dream I felt strong arms wrap around me, holding me close and I looked up to fined Shadow looking down at me with compassion. 

Wait compassion? Robots don't feel, let alone act with out some activation system. I thought I was dreaming even more when I thought I'd heard him speak.

"It's okay honey, please don't cry as I love seeing your smiling face everyday. I'm happy you got into your dream college and I know you'll return even though I will miss you. 

"Please just promise you'll never forget me.

"You're the only person who's treated me like a human that I once was and I thank you for always being with me. I will always love you as much as you love me.

I love you Lucy Gray, now and always."

I was still for a moment and let what he just said sink in and once it did I was surprisingly enough didn't freak.

He gestured towards an old bench seat and I was more surprised that he was actually leaving his stand and grabbed my arm and lightly leading me to the seat.

I for some reason became nervous and before I could say or do anything he spoke abruptly.

"I'm not really an animatronic."
