Hey thanks for wanting to read the first chapter I hope you enjoy this, sorry if it's a little boring as it goes into the parks history and ya.

Growing up I learnt many things even how to fix animatronics like my favorite one Shadow who really looked and sounded like a real human. 

I'm the only child and both my parents are ex circus performers and decided they wanted to settle down.

They used all the money they had and brought a theme park which had the main basics and then a few years of making quit a bit of money they decided to have a baby.

They went to the doctors to make sure my mother could actually have kids as she had a freak ascendant and it affected her.

The doctor said because of some scare tissue and other stuff it might not be possible. My parents so I heard when they told the story, had tried 20 times and nothing.

One day my father wanted to try one last time and this time they succeeded and I was born, I was a miracle as the doctor had said if it did happen that I might not actually be able to live for long.

I guess I was the only and luckiest kid but just so you know I was treated like a princess but they also treated me like a kid and daughter.

I didn't get special treatment which was because they didn't want me to become snobby. I only meet Shadow when I was nearly 7 but as I grew up I was use to people being around all the time.

I learnt different languages but only basics as foreigners use to come as well and kinda still do. As a kid the employees had mainly came from Europe.

Liam was from Switzerland and Quincy (a really nice woman) was from France and my favorite person Akira who was Japanese. As they worked for my parents they would teach me their languages.

I became fluent in Romansh (Switz) French and Japanese but I can only read French and Japanese and can write a little too but reading is a little harder.

Akira, Liam and Quincy would tell me what the words meant and how to use them in sentences and it was something I understood so I was some what cultured.

I learnt German too as an exchange student who's name was Finn who'd wanted to try working in an environment that had lots of people, as he felt it might help him with English and learning English better.

He one day decided to come back and work with my family again and he became my close friend as the other employers were.

Even at 6 years old I was good with English for my age so I made a deal that if he teaches me some German I'd help him with English and how we did things.

He was a smart guy and he was more or less a great drawer and I loved that he was easy going and I actually understood him. 

Enough that when it came to my parents I could help with some of the translation and also word things so they understood him.

Having an accent is hard in a country that doesn't speak your language and so most people find English hard as even those who speak it still find it hard.

I was doing home school at home with my parents as they didn't want me to be far from them as I was a kid and so they worried.

It was also because I was nearly abducted by a 50 year old man and so they worried for their baby girl and only child.

Anyway at 6 my parents had decided to save an old animatronic (Shadow) which I soon came to adore and would end up fulling for.

I know it sounds crazy but he didn't seem like any ordinary animatronic as he only ever let me check up on him but would never let anyone else touch him.

I never found it weird for a second, weird as it was, it never make me stop and think wait hang on this is weird.

As a kid I had decided he was my favorite animatronic and he seemed closer to human than any normal animatronic.

His face could express more than that of ordinary robotic attractions and he also seemed to sound half human life.

He would speak in a few words that were close to him trying to communicate, yes I might sound crazy but I never told anyone as I couldn't be bothered having my parents think I'm being silly.

Well I honestly have nothing else really to say except I'm both Introverted and Extroverted but it depends on where I am and what I'm doing.

I try to work at the best of my ability, my main job is checking that the animatronic family are all working fine. If one's faulty then I turn it off and if I can't fix it then I let an engineer take a look.

A lot of the time Shadow was the most easiest and he didn't have a turn on or off button which was odd, but he stayed still and quiet for me as I made sure to wash and clean him, this was to keep up the shine.

As I grew up I decided to take up mechanical training and engineering as to be able to fix the animatronic's family. 

It only took a year as I was 15 when the original mechanic had shown me how to work on their wiring and their set up.

When I was done with training as I only took a year because I was a fast learner, I had been given the job to do take care and maintain Shadow.

It was a lot of work but worth it though, during the day I frequently check up on him to make sure he's okay and is functioning properly.

And at night I just sat next to him and would talk to him about anything, my parents sometimes were worried but I assured them I was fine.

Shadow for some reason always seemed to have a human like feel to him and he was a little on the just warm side. But I figured it was from the days heat and it's still lingering.

*Skip to middle of the night*

Have you ever had those dreams where you're either falling or you're being chased? Well imagine them together except you actually do stop falling, that's when you enter the mouth of a monster that looks like death.

I bolted straight up in bed and I could feel cold sweat running down my spin, I felt scared so I headed outside to where the animatronics were, I slept against Shadow and instantly I felt at ease and relaxed.

By the time the sun started to rise I awoke and could hear the birds start to sing and I felt the air that seemed a little chilly.

It meant that the theme park was going to be closed till spring as winter is the season in which riding the rides wouldn't be as fun.

There are sometimes when my parents do open another area that is a new feature that involves out door skating and snow ball fight zone, it's kinda set up the way paint balling is except it's snow.

So we're open but only that part of the theme park. the entertainment is half free and half not, and the food is a reasonable price too.

We take all classes into consideration as it's meant for families, kids and so when it came to food we have a old system. Which allows lower paid people who aren't super rich to actually buy descent food that actually tastes good.

But that's not for everything only some things. Autumn, Spring and Summer are our better seasons.

When it's Autumn we get more customers than normal because in Sing we get only half of what we do in Autumn which is where we have to keep up maintenance a lot more during that season.

Summer gets around the same sometimes more people coming than in Autumn which is around 100 people or more and the theme park isn't super massive like in America but it's decent.

Anyway with Winter coming we won't have as many customers so we have to store our savings and wait it out until Spring and so on.

I was getting up from where I was sleeping and was meet by a surprised voice that was very French sounding.

"Miss Lucy, have you been sleeping her the whole night?"

I looked up and was meet by piercing blue eyes that were captivating, and hair as black as ebony with slight red strips in it.

"Quincy good morning, yes I slept outside but I had had a bad dream last night so I felt to go and see Shadow."

She seemed a little unsure but she understood my weird obsession and she always joked that he was my boyfriend.

She was a nice women and she was the one who'd came from France as she wanted to leave the country that had been her home until her ex husband cheated her or something.

She wanted a job and wanted to work here, as a kid I asked her about France and she use to always have a smile on her face.

She had a rough up bring and was raised in a striped home so she use to keep the other employees in check.

She seemed to want to say something but just then a hyper voice appeared it was a guy who seemed like my age.

"Hey!!"

He had brown hair and hazel eyes accompanied by freckles on his face, he was lanky and had quiet bad acne.

Behind him was a guy who had blond hair that looked like the suns morning rays in Autumn and he had chiseled check bones and had the whole alpha thing going on and he was a good height.

"Finn, explain to me what this kid is doing here please"

Finn was the ex foreign exchange student from Germany and was pretty hot if I'm honest, he could get any one he wanted as his looks made him look like those European business men.

"Terribly sorry Quincy, as you might not know our employers are having Winter work experience so as painful as it will be... well we'll just have to get use to teaching the kids what to do."

Finn looked unimpressed and everyone including me didn't like the idea but my parents were sorta made to by the government.

In this day and age I knew why they wouldn't be happy as most people in the younger generations have zero interest in this kinda job and the last few we had had just slaked off.

Once a girl was super catty towards me and so I just said she was fired and to never come work here again. 

My parents were mad but I told them to only allow the students to if they're actually going to do their job as most were arrogant and others were just full of them selves.

I might be 16 going on 17 but I still feel that people in lower years than me should really just be more respectful. 

Also the fact that none of them were allowed near the animatronics except me and Akira as we understood the layout and knew how to fix anything that would be an issue.

Also it wouldn't be safe as you had to be careful of the gears and we didn't want someone getting injured or killed for that matter so it was better that he and I did it.

I seriously had my doubts about this new guy though, no offence but he didn't seem like the brightest person but if he was part of the clean up crew then that's okay.

What was said next made my mouth drop open and not in a good way.

"I regret to inform you Lucy oh and you too Akira that you guys will be James's teachers when it comes to the animatronics."

I wondered if I'd lost my hearing, did he just say that me and Akira were going to have to teach this guy how to work on maintaining the animatronics?

I knew Akira was pissed at the thought as he threw his right arm over my shoulder pulling me closer to him and he had a none impressed look on his face.

"Finn that's crazy, me and Lucy have had training for them but it doesn't mean we can teach this guy the whole thing."

Finn just sighed and spoke in a low and tired voice.

"If you don't like it, take it up with our employer's as it was there idea or more your dads idea to say the least. Any way I leave him to you 2, take care of him and uha make sure he stays safe."

With that he left, Quincy wasn't happy by the sound of this either as she knew me and Akira were some what I guess closer to being soul mates nearly but we didn't see it happening.

It doesn't mean we don't have a bit of fun from time to time. That aside we only really had a close bond but neither of use were planing on dating.

I love him but I don't want him romantically and it's the same with him and so it works for us.. Anyway we defiantly didn't really like anyone else working with us. 

As Akira had done an online course for robotics and all that and I did mechanics study so we have a good idea of the parks traction's. 

We know what needs fixing but if it's not an easy fix we have to get a professional but we're usually good at it.

We haven't had an accident which is great. Back when the place first opened health and safety wasn't a huge thing and didn't start until 1974 and so the rules are slowly becoming more strict.

It use to be called 'Lovers Land' or something but it suffered a huge blow when it had gone belly up and had to be sold 6 years later. By 1967 it was renamed 'WonderLand of Dreams.'

The park got rid of most of Lovers Land attractions but only kept the romantic love tunnel open as well as the lovers hangout. Not that wonderful and that was it.

WonderLand of Dreams had added cooler attractions like the roller coaster that had many twists and turns but took only 30 seconds to complete but was worth it.

There was a Ferris Wheel that didn't come int till 2 years later and it was a hype at the time it first opened. By 1975 the park had been doing well for it's time but the owner had passed away from heart failure.

A year later the daughter of the man who passed the year prior and she didn't want to own it and so sold it to Flint Ryan's, who was a rich man and he decided to keep the name and employed people to work here.

August 20, 1981 came around and Mr. Ryan's had wanted to make more money but didn't want the problem of looking after the theme park and decided to put it up for sale.

After a year a man who was already 47 and his son who was 11 took the theme park and named it Good Times Park and more things were added to it.

The roller coaster was there still along with the love tunnel and the lovers hangout was destroyed and was replaced by a small food stool.

New toilets, attractions and slowly kids entertainment was on the rise. By March 12, 1990 the man Peter Robertson had decided to retire after 9 years, taking all the money he'd earned and abandoned the theme park.

His son Patrick on the other hand was now 20 and he had loved the theme park and didn't want it to just decay, so he decided to run it and renamed it 'Good Times Park New Era'

As 5 years past he'd married and had 3 kids but one of his sons were so ill he wouldn't keep running the park. On April 14, 1995 he handed over the place to my parents who had left the circus 3 years prior.

The now theme park was renamed 'Past, Present and Future' and so learning about it's history I tend to be the history person on the tours we sometimes have and I ramble off all of the history.

We also had a small museum that had some of the old attractions that were thought to have been thrown away. On top of that you had pictures of the original park and the different times of it's existence.

It's more thriving than it was all though years ago, it had newer technology and we now had robotic animals that Patrick had added a year before he handed the place to my parents.

He said it was for kids entertainment and I have to say I've seen to all of the theme parks eras. When you looked around you could see old signs that use to be for each era of the parks existence. I can't help but smile at how well the parks aged.

In other words this park has been divided into the past, (first attractions) one section was for Lovers Land, another for the present which was the animatronic people and the more electronic stuff.

The future stuff is the more exciting park of the park which has more entertainment, the others are more relaxing and just chilled places. 

It's a beautiful park and it's hard to explain how amazing it is that it has lasted as long as it has. I'm thankful my parents brought it plus considering I pretty much live here I can go on rides for free.

I realized I'd been too deep in thought as Akira was tapping my shoulder and I remembered about the kid.

After I got dressed I decided to talk to my parents about the new guy.
