(Y/n) POV
"Alright everyone, remember you all are going to be doing disaster training tomorrow. So please come prepared."
Midnight purred while the guys all drooled over her and she ended her lesson for the day.

Today was rather uneventful compared to the day before.
I did have a fuming Bakugo next to me the whole time, and a bunch of drooling guys as well.

Getting up I began packing my bags before I felt a swarm of kids all behind me.

"Did you really almost get kidnapped last night?!"

"How'd you get away?!"

"Did you really fight those villains and win easily?!"

Various questions came from the rest of the class while I finished packing.

"YOU DID WHAT?!"
Now that voice caught everyone's attention, it was dad.

He was now glaring daggers into me while I sighed and flung my backpack on to my back.

"It wasn't anything new dad, I went to pick up food and some thugs were flying after me. I threw them both into the ground and knocked them out cold. Ask Hawks, he can confirm it."

I explained since I knew that he was definitely going to have the same reaction as mom whenever this happened.

"WHY WASNT ANYONE THERE TO ASSIST YOU? DID YOU GET INJURED IN ANYWAY? YOUR MOTHER WILL KILL ME IF YOU DID."
Dad basically yelled causing all the kids to stare at him with dread piercing their eyes.

I had heard this reaction too many times for it to really shock me much.

"Everyone was waiting for me to get the food, I'm not, and no she won't she says the same about you whenever this happens."

"WHENEVER THIS HAPPENS?!"
I was expecting the full Dad treatment but I was hoping this wouldn't happen in front of the rest of the class.

"It's normal again, ask Hawks. Or watch the news for once Dad, I've been on it more than I'd like to admit."
He almost never watched the news so this was a foreign concept to him but he crossed his arms in an attempt to look scary.

This worked for the rest of the kids while I just crossed my arms back at him.

"Do I need to have one of the teachers escort you home? This should not be normal (y/n), I won't have my daughter being put in danger every time she walks outside."
He insisted while I waved him off and adjusted my backpack.

"No, I'm flying home anyways and I'm sure Hawks would be more than willing to confirm where I am at whatever point in time."

My words seemed to shock the students at how casual I was about Hawks, but to me he was just another normal person.
Not exactly anything too special other than him basically being family to me.

"I will make sure he checks in on you later on tonight, if not myself. I have to grade some papers but I will come tonight and make sure you're alright (y/n)."
Dad scolded while I just nodded since I was already getting tired of hearing this.

"Alright, come check at about 10. I'll be doing homework and Hawks will probably drag me around for some patrols."

"Fine. You better be careful, understood?"
He glared while I nodded, he really was like mom with the whole 'I'm scary to everyone else but you' vibe.

"I know, I've only heard this from you and mom for the past 18 years."
I sighed while he wrapped his scarf around me and make me look at him.

"I'm serious."
I could literally hear the other kids shutter at his tone while I just huffed.

"I know, have fun grading papers. Love you."

"I love you too (y/n)."
Was the last thing he said before letting me out of the grip of his scarf and I turned to see the other students staring at me in awe.

"You guys okay?"
I questioned since again they had what looked like sparkles and hearts around their heads.
At least the guys did, the girls were all just in pure shock.

"I'll see you all later."
I said smiling and waving to them and watching Mineta and Karminari pass out again.
The other guys looked close to passing out as well which was amusing.

I floated out of the school grounds while I was scrolling through my phone.
"Hey Kid you busy?"

"Nope, I do have to be back home by 10 though and you have to be a responsible hero and do things yourself sometimes."
I giggled flying up to Hawks and having him immediately smack me upside the head lightly.

"Quit complaining, you know you love working with me."

He protested while we flew off to the house to drop my stuff off before heading to the city for basic patrols.

"Race ya Babybird!"
He chuckled before speeding off in the direction of the house.

"FUCK YOU! YOU GOT A HEAD START!!"
I yelled at him now speeding to catch up to him.
My bag didn't help with the weight but I figured I could still beat him.

We both weaved through the streets with him looking as smug as ever flying past the people who were gawking at the both of us.

"Get back here Birdbrain!"
I giggled while he scoffed back at me and kept flying past the people.
This was a more crowded street area we were taking since apparently this was his idea of making us do patrols without calling it a patrol.

"Come catch me BabyBird!"
He taunted while I sped up to the same speed as him now and flew with my back facing the ground so I could smirk up at him.

He visibly growled down at me and tried to fly faster.

I smirked turning over and over taking the lead.
The city passed by under us basically looking like a blur of colors, buildings, lights, and other things.

"It's Hawks and (y/n)!!"

"They're incredible!"

"I can't believe they're actually real!"

I could hear the passing comments while we flew by, it was kinda interesting hearing how fast word spread of us being here.

"Hear that kid? You're already famous."
Hawks chuckled catching up to me while I rolled my eyes playfully at him.

"They know me cause of you, I don't count it."
I giggled while he fumed jokingly at my words.

"Don't say that, you know you get paid more the more famous you are right?"
He yelled while I just now actually rolled my eyes at him.

"We both know you don't do this for the money, neither do I. Now actually try otherwise I'm going to beat you home!"

I teased while we both sped up and were flying around the buildings in the city, I was sure we looked like blurs to everyone who was watching us.

"Oh hey it's your little friend!"
Hawks pointed down while he dropped speed slightly pointing at Kai.

"Fuck off."
I seared while he put his hands in surrender now as we flew past him.

He seemed to notice us in the air but since his face was covered by a mask and because we were going so fast I couldn't see his face well.

But he was walking around with a few guys trailing behind him and a bunch of people were watching him as well as us.

"Looks like he's somethin special too, guess that should be fun for you kid."
Hawks purred while I scoffed and flew faster to get home.

We were almost there anyways so I figured I could get ready while we were there so I could just head to dinner with Kai when we finished patrolling.

I giggled as I finished first with Hawks flying very close behind me, though I did win.

"Damn it kid, I guess I'm getting too old for this."
"You're literally the youngest hero on the top charts, fuck off."
"Doesn't mean I'm not getting old."
He chuckled clearly joking since he definitely had a small sense of pride about being the best.

Though he never wanted to be like Allmight, he still cared for other people's safety and just wanted to make life easier for everyone.

"What's with the box?"
He questioned while we both dropped down and looked at the doorstep.

There was a medium sized box that was black with a white bow on it.
"No clue."

I walked up to it and picked it up while Hawks went inside to grab a few things including food.

There was a small letter on the box I noticed while I brought it up to my room and set it down.
We had about an hour before we had to leave so I figured Hawks was stuffing his face while I was going to get ready.

Dear (y/n),
I wanted to make up for the fact that I wasn't able to see you earlier.
I know this isn't much but I'd like you to wear this to our outing tonight. I hope you don't mind this being so abrupt but I believe you should enjoy the night to the fullest, including what you're wearing.

"Well shit."
I was more surprised by the note than anything else at this point but I figured I should open the gift now.

My eyes widened seeing a gold necklace that I knew cost a small fortune, a small black dress that was similar to the one I would usually wear but it was much nicer, some black designer heels, and a small box.

Opening the box I practically had my jaw on the floor since it was diamond earrings that again, cost a literal fortune.
"Hey kid what's?-"

"Huh you really did find a good one."
Hawks corrected himself now standing in the doorway and looking at the gift Kai had given me.

"I just saved the guy and his niece, I didn't expect this."
I admired blushing a bit red looking at the gift.

"Well guess he's pretty damn into you, cause what the hell."
Hawks even seemed surprised now holding the necklace and the earrings in his hands.

"Well I guess that throws away my plans to go on patrol with you in whatever I was wearing to dinner."

I shouldn't have said that FUCK.

"Wow you're actually going out with the guy? I'm impressed BabyBird."
He immediately grabbed me into a headlock again while I sighed to myself.

"Yea, yea, shut it."
I couldn't help the red on my cheeks though while he let go of me and smirked.

"Guess I have to do patrols alone today, have fun kid. I'll be staying at my place tonight then so you guys can have a lil privacy."

He wiggled his eyebrow at me while I punched him in the chest and ushered him out so I could get ready.
