"KK," ANNIE WHISPERED, her hand drawing light circles on the girls stomach in attempt to wake her up. KK just groaned in response as she nuzzled closer to Annie's body. "You gotta get up," she said trying to hold back a small laugh.

"Five more minutes," she replied, before grabbing Annie's waist and flipping her on her back so that KK could lay on top of her.

KK dug her head into the crook of Annie's neck, and the brunette could feel her heart about to beat out of her chest. She basically froze feeling KK's breath on her neck as her hands were wrapped around her stomach.

"Kamorea," Annie said, attempting to make her voice more stern.

"Annette," KK whispered back into her neck. Annie squeezed her eyes shut trying to gain any of her composure back, but she could feel her heart literally flutter at the sound of her name on KK's tongue.

KK continued laying on top of Annie until a voice from outside of the door started yelling, "KK you ready?"

"For what?" KK finally lifted her head from Annie's neck, and the girl was so sad to loose the physical contact.

"You have practice," Annie reminded her and she could see the way KK's face changed into a complete look of anxiety as she jumped out of bed and started changing into practice clothes. Annie let out an audible 'oh' as KK threw her shirt into a basket, just leaving her in her sports bra. She then quickly reverted her eyes down to her phone to make it seem like she wasn't staring.

Once she finished stuffing stuff into her bag she turned to Annie who was sat on the bed, her bonnet now removed and placed beside her. "You gonna be here for the rest of the day?" KK asked as she walked over to the bed.

"Mhm," Annie nodded her head as she scooted forward on the bed, "Why?"

"Just wonde—," KK started to say before she was cut off by Paige outside the door singing her name over and over again. "I'm coming!" she yelled back before turning her attention back to the girl in front of her, "See you later," she smiled, her hand squeezing a little above Annie's knee before she turned around and opened the door, Paige practically falling inside the room as she had her weight against it.

"Annie what are you?" the blonde started to ask before KK escorted her to the living room, but Annie knew she wasn't gonna get away with spending the night in KK's room so easily. And that was proven when Paige came running back, "We're talking about this after practice," she pointed at the girl before KK dragged her away and shut the door, leaving Annie in the room.

ANNIE SPENT THOSE four hours just hanging around the dorm. She had eventually changed into an oversized,  off the shoulder sweater and paired it with some jeans, as well as putting her braids into a half up half down look. But she was currently waiting for the team to get home from Chick-Fil-A as KK had promised the younger Fudd some food on her way back.

And as Annie was scrolling through TikTok while sitting in the living room the entire team barged in, Paige and KK arguing about God knows what, as the rest placed their food down on the table or the kitchen counter. Annie got up from her spot, walking over to the two, silently standing in front of them before fake coughing to get their attention. "Where's my food?" she asked, feeling bad for splitting their conversation.

"Here you go," KK smiled, her voice immediately becoming softer, compared to how she was just yelling at Paige. She handed Annie her food from the bag she was carrying, "Azzi has your drink."

"Thank youu," Annie dragged out the last word as she took the nuggets and fries from KK before going to find her sister on the couch. "What're they arguing about?" she asked looking at Azzi who was sipping on her drink.

"You," she replied shaking her head.

"Wait, what did I do?" Annie questioned, her body tensing up, "I didn't do anything wrong did I?"

"No, no," Azzi reassured, "Paige is just being..."

"Paige," Annie finished her sisters sentence, and the older Fudd just nodded. "Acting like my mother or something."

"Always," they both cracked a smile before small giggles left their mouths. "I mean...you remember how she yelled at you know who," Azzi said, referencing Annie's ex.

"Best day of my life," Annie joked, remembering how Paige had torn Ash to shreds after she found out the girl had cheated on Annie.

"She's just mad that you slept with KK last night. No pre-marital cuddling for you," Azzi shook her head, popping a fry into her mouth.

"Annie, KK has something she'd like to tell you," Paige stated as she forced KK to walk forward. The shorter girl looked back at the blonde shaking her head, "Do it!" Paige whisper-yelled.

"I hate you," KK said back to the blonde in the same tone before focusing her attention back to Annie, who was looking at KK like she was the only person in the entire world. "I am so sorry for forcing you to sleep in my bed with me. I should've woken Paige up to ask for permission to let you sleep in her room since it was empty, and it was very rude of me not to," the girl said in a monotone voice as Paige nodded her head from behind her.

"Paige be so for real right now," Azzi chimed in, shaking her head.

"She didn't force me," Annie giggled as she grabbed KK's hand and had her sit down beside her. "After I saw your big butt in my sister's bed, dead asleep, I knocked on KK's door because I knew she was still awake."

"My room was literally empty! You could've slept in there!" Paige pointed out, crossing her arms.

"I was not gonna sleep in your nasty bed," Annie shook her head, before taking a sip of her lemonade. "Please just shut up and eat your food." And with that the blonde plopped down beside Azzi and began eating. "So what are you doing for the rest of today?" Annie asked, turning towards KK.

"Lookin at you," the girl smiled and Annie felt her face turn red before she dropped her forehead to KK's shoulder to cover her blush, earning a small laugh from KK. "But, nothing. I think we're going out later tonight."

"I'm supposed to leave tonight," Annie frowned, finally picking her head up from KK's shoulder, "Julie is leaving to go shoot something tomorrow so she won't be able to dog sit Lily."

"The world's working against us, I swear," KK groaned dropping her head back onto the couch. "What time does she have to leave tomorrow?"

"I think like noon."

"Just go out with us tonight and then leave in the morning," the girl reasoned, turning her head to the side against the couch so that she could look at Annie. "Plus you can help me make sure Paige doesn't do some stupid shit."

"Let me text Julie real quick," Annie pulled out her phone and texted her best friend and was immediately met with her telling Annie to stay in Connecticut and not worry about coming back. "She said it's ok."

"Good," KK smiled.

THE YOUNGER FUDD had swapped her oversized sweater for a cropped tank top that showed off her matching belly button piercing she had gotten with Azzi. And she was currently sitting in a chair sipping on her Sprite as she swiped through photos of her dog in her camera roll to show KK.

"She's so cute," KK smiled, looking closely at the phone. "I gotta meet her."

"If you ever come to New York you can," she smiled before closing her phone and putting it down.

"Might just have to," KK responded as her leg gently brushed against Annie's and she rested her right arm behind the girls back. The two then just stared at each other like they weren't in a packed bar until Paige came around shoving a phone in KK's face.

"And here's KK!" the blonde giggled, obviously drunk from the dirty shirley's she'd been consuming. "Oh and we have a surprise guest! Annie Fudd! Azzi's sister if you can't tell," Paige moved the phone into Annie's face now, throwing her off guard. She just waved into the camera before Paige moved on with introducing everyone to the live.

"She's gonna have a fat headache in the morning," Annie giggled, twirling her straw in her cup.

"For sure, for sure," KK nodded. There was a moment of silence that fell between them before the guard spoke up, "Do you wanna go outside?"

"Sure," Annie nodded and the two headed outside, standing on the little porch area. Once they got outside Annie saw so many fireflies that her face immediately went into a bright smile before she had one land on her hand, "Look!" she beamed moving her hand close to KK, "Ray from Princess and the Frog," she smiled before bringing the bug back to her.

KK just watched her with a smile on her lips, loving the way such a small thing could make the girl in front of her so happy. "Ya know I was Tiana for Halloween one year when I was younger?"

"Really?" Annie looked up, sticking her finger out to let the bug fly away.

"Mhm," she nodded her head.

"Guess it was written in stars for us then," Annie smiled, her eyes scanning KK's face. The soft light from the lamppost lighting the girls face perfectly, only made her beauty stand out more. "You're really pretty, like it makes me nervous to look at you," Annie confessed as a dumb smile found its way onto her lips.

"Whatever," KK shook her head, blowing off the compliment from Annie.

"I'm serious," Annie stepped closer to the girl in front of her, "Like every time you look at me, I'm so stupidly nervous it's crazy."

"Next time you're here I'm taking you on a date," the basketball player told the actress as her hands found Annie's.

"I look forward to it," Annie whispered, as they both started to lean in without thinking until the front door slammed open revealing Inês standing there.

"We've been looking for you guys!" she grabbed Annie's hand and dragged her in the building.
