Bella's POV-

"So..."  I start, breaking the awkward silence, "What are our cousin's names?"

"Carmen, Elazar, Kate, Irina and Tanya..." he says the last name through gritted teeth.

"Who's Tanya? I ask curiously.

"A girl,"

Well no Sherlock, he's hiding something from me, "What are you hiding?"He glances at me but returns his eyes to the road, "Don't freak, but, Tanya has a crush on me,"

"SHE WHAT?" I shout at the top of my lungs, making him cringe, "IF SHE COMES NEAR YOU I SWEAR TO GOD-"

"Bella, I told you not to freak" he says calmly, putting a hand on my shoulder, "She won't, I promise, not after I kiss you in front of her," he smiles his amazing crooked smile at me, dazzling me, yet again.

I calm down a little, but spend the rest of the journey with my arms folded across my chest, staring out the window; Edward sneaks in a stare in every now and then, thinking I don't notice, I do.

"Bella?" a musical voice coos.

"Mmphh" just leave me alone already, let me be, I just want to sleep.

The voice chuckles, I feel a hand on my arm, gently shaking me "Bella wake up we're here," 

"Wha- What?" I open my eyes, everything is blurry, I hate morning vision, or afternoon vision...

"We've arrived at the Denalis," says a familiar voice, my vision clears, I see him.

"Edward!" I wrap my arms around his neck in an embrace, you would think I hadn't seen him in years, not a few hours, and that's because I was asleep.

"Bella!" Edward mocks playfully, he gets out of the car and opens my door, we re-join the rest of our family and walk up to the house together. Carlisle knocks, a dark-haired male opens the door, he's pale, but not as pale as say, me, he must of had an olive like shade of skin as a human.

"Carlisle, how great it is to see you, and your family" the man steps back allowing us in, Edward's arm is wrapped around my waist, I guess he can feel me tensing, "Bella it's ok," he whispers into my hair, I relax a little and lean against him.

Five new scents filled the room, in come four females and a male.

One of them glares at me, and then looks dreamily at Edward, I think I've found Tanya; rage begins to build inside, how she dare have a crush on my man!

Jasper, sensing my out-of-control emotions sends calming waves towards me; I give him a closed mouth thanks.

"This is Bella," Edward introduces me and kisses my forehead; I can feel Tanya's temper rising, our cousins stand there like statues, staring at me.

"Hi?"

They don't move, after a while of awkward silence, the dark hair girl, who I think is called Carmen, murmurs, "Angel," Crap, is all I can think.

"Angel?" Edward questions. They weren't supposed to find out like this! I had a whole speech planned out! They're going to hate me! Edward will leave me! I'll be all alone again!

"H-Her, S-Sh-She," the male stutters.

"Elazar what do you mean?" My father's voice holds confusion.

"She's part Angel," Elazar's words are full of fear. Everyone's eyes are on me, including Edward's. I bury my face in my mate's neck, this may be the last time I see him, the last time I touch him, and the last time I say I love him.

"How is she part vampire, part human and part angel?" Rose asks, impatient.

"Ask her yourself," a male voice answers. I have to get out of here, somehow, I know, I'm gifted with invisibility for a reason, to be invisible and to escape.

I close my eyes and expand my shield around myself, he can't hear me but "Edward, I love you, I love you with all my heart, I want you to know that! I've never loved anybody as much as I love you, I will cherish every moment we had together, forever, I love you, and I always will,"

With that, I leave, but only after shielding Edward, if he wants to come after me, I should at least give him a chance. Who am I kidding? I want him to come after me, I want him to say he loves me, I want him to understand, but I want doesn't get, and I'm too much of a devil to get anything.

I run far into the frosty forest, deep into the dark shadows of the trees, this is where I belong, in the dark, with no one to love, with no one to love me, I'm an abomination.

"Bella," Edward says softly, or maybe it's my imagination, "Bella, you can trust me, tell me about your transformation." I sigh, he may not be here, he may be here, I've never told anyone my story, but I am now, even if I'm only telling myself it.

Here goes nothing.

'I was 17 years old, it was the year 1553, I was dying, some strangers had come up to me and bitten me, I felt no pain, I was numb, I laid on a hillside, surrounded by my own blood, my vision was blurry, and I felt deaf.

A man came over to me, he was wearing dark swaying cloaks, he had pale white skin, and greasy, scraped back black hair, and red eyes, he walked over to me and picked my wrist up, his hand was cold, too cold, but I didn't have the strength to pull away from him.

He picked me up and took me into the forest, he told me his name was Aro and that he was going to save my life, and then he bit me and ran off.

I lay on the damp woodland floor for 3 days, in burning agony, it hurt worse than death, I screamed to the heavens to end me there and then. Of course, at this period of time, everyone was rather religious.

When I opened my eyes I felt different, looking at my hands I noticed they were pale white, I also had a burning feeling in my throat, next to me was a mirror and a note, I caught my reflection in the mirror, I looked beautiful, I looked perfect, but there was one thing, I had blood red eyes, I yelped and jumped back.

After calming I then read the note, ISABELLA MARIE SWAN, YOU ARE A VAMPIRE, I WILL FIND YOU AND CLAIM WHAT'S MINE.

I didn't know what he meant, and I certainly didn't want to find out. I remembered him, but my memory was foggy, and the burning, thirst feeling in my throat overwhelmed everything, I had to drink.

If was a vampire I drank blood right? I didn't want to hurt humans so I decided to hunt animals, after a few years of living in the forest, Aro found me, he brought me back to his 'Castle' and told me this was my home.

When it was time for 'dinner' Aro called me to the table, I was confused but did anyway, I froze as I walked in, a classful of children were sitting, tied up in the corner.

Caius licked his lips and grabbed one of the kids and sunk his teeth into his flesh, "NO!" I screamed and fell to the floor, crying invisible tears.

"What is it? Isabella?" Aro asked me, holding onto my name.

"You're a murderer!"

He just laughed, "And so will you be," he picked a little girl up and threw her on floor in front of me, "Now drink or I will kill you,"

"Never, I'd rather die,"

"As you wish Isabella," he sighs, no sympathy in his voice "Such a shame," he said, as he twisted, and pulled my head off, everything went black. I welcomed it, red is pain, and black is numbness.

What seemed like an eternity away a little circle of light stood, I couldn't move, so I just stared at it, was this hell? Living an eternity, laying, doing nothing, being teased by the light and being tormented by the devil?

The light seemed to be getting closer, a man kneeled next to me, "Bella, my dearest Bella, Come," he helped me up and carried me towards the light, he walked through the light and it was like we had teleported, we were now in what seemed like the sky, walking on the clouds.

He took me over to where my parents were lying.

"Mum? Dad?" my voice broke, "Where are we?" 

"Heaven," he replied

"Who are you?"

He didn't answer my question, "You didn't hurt my children Isabella, and I'm eternally grateful for that. Now, you may rest" he put me down next to my parents, "Close your eyes, relax, go to sleep,"

I did as he said, soon I felt myself drifting off.

462 YEARS LATER

I woke up, I was still in heaven, I looked around, everyone was asleep, but me.

"Hello?" I called out, the man that had brought me here walked up to me.

"Bella, Bella, you need to go back to Earth,"

"What!?" I shouted, I ran up to him, pleading with him not send me back.

"Do not worry, I will be with you always," "

But why? Why do I have to go back?"

"Because Bella, someone is waiting there for you," he then kissed my cheek and I was born, being a vampire beforehand I was part vampire, coming from heaven I was part angel, and being conceived by a human, I was part human.

When my mother gave birth to me she died, my father was depressed and angry, so he took me into the forest and left me there for dead, and then you found me.

When I saw you I knew what the man had meant, he meant you were waiting for me.

Of course, when I was born, I couldn't remember much, I didn't know what I was or anything, but I did remember the words he said to me,'

"Edward, you and your family, when you die, you are welcomed into heaven, you won't be damned, I promise, I'm sorry I didn't tell you, you have every right to be angry with me,"

"I'm not angry with you Bella, in fact, I long you more than ever now,"

He wraps his arms around me and pulls me against his chest, "I love you,"

Those words, those words mean the world to me, "I love you too,".
