Edward's POV-

I knelt down on one knee and swallowed nervously; reaching into my pocket I retrieved a box containing a ring.

"This was my mothers, Isabella Cullen I promise to love you for every moment of forever, and would you do me the extraordinary honour of marrying me?" I stared her in the eye, shaking slightly.

"Yes, yes Edward!" She replied, a broad smile on her beautiful, perfect face. I opened my mouth to speak but my words caught in throat, instead I smiled the crooked smile that I knew she loved and pulled her into a tight embrace.

I slipped the ring onto my Isabella's finger. "Beautiful," She whispered, admiring the expensive ring on her hand.

"Not as beautiful as you Bella, for you, beautiful is an insult; there are no words to describe your angelic, dazzling, charming face, your perfect, slender, gorgeous posture. You are the most amazing, stunning, wonderful person on the face of the earth."

After I had finished my speech, Bella was blushing 50 shades of scarlet and her eyes were brimming with tears, happy tears, I smiled and hugged her again, pulling her body close to mine.

Bella's POV-

"Not as beautiful as you Bella, for you, beautiful is an insult; there are no words to describe your angelic, dazzling, charming face, your perfect, slender, gorgeous posture. You are the most amazing, stunning, wonderful person on the face of the earth." Edward whispered softly into my hair, before pulling back to look at me.

I felt blood pool into my cheeks and I blushed, quite literally, 50 shades of scarlet, my eyes began to water at his touching speech, before I could say anything he pulled me into a tight embrace, pulling me close to him, I buried my head into his chest. His strong scent calmed me,

Edward pulled back, wiping my eyes and pressing his lips to my forehead.

"We need to tell everyone!"

Edward chuckled and wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed my forehead once again, "Alice will be thrilled,"

"That my dear Edward is very true," he smiled and draped his arm over my shoulder, I wrapped my arm around his waist and we began walking back to the Denali's house, talking about the wedding and making jokes about how Alice is going to want to plan, everything.

As we walked through the door everybody's heads turned to look at us, I took a deep breath and held out my left hand, showing them the engagement ring on my fourth finger.

Alice squealed happily and was in front of me in a flash "Please Bella, pretty please can I plan your wedding!? Please!? I'll get down and beg if I have to,"

I laughed quietly to myself. "Fine by me Alice, Edward?" I replied to her before she actually got down on her knees and begged. Edward glanced from me to Alice and sighed, Alice was jumping up and down in excitement.

"But only if you use at least some of our ideas and for goodness sakes no pink!" he said, raising his voice on the last part, Alice smiled, "You won't be disappointed lovebirds," she said before trotting off to start planning.

I and Edward sat down on the loveseat, I rested my head on his shoulder and his arm wrapped around my waist. I knew the silence wouldn't last long, and, the next moment I was attacked by a bunch of questions about how he proposed, what happened, etc.

While Edward was being congratulated and being giving advice, I saw, corner of my eye, Tanya silently sobbing, Irina by her side comforting her, Irina looked up and glared at Edward, I growled in response. The instinct to protect my mate kicking in.

Irina's stare was now directed at me, two could play at that game. I gave her a death glare, and I definitely didn't need Jasper's gift to tell that she was intimidated.

A cold pair of hands rested on my hips, my love sat down pulling me onto his lap, Edward began messing with my hair and massaging my shoulders, since I was little this had always calmed and relaxed me, I still felt a little aggravated but that washed away as Edward kissed the back of my neck, I wrapped my arms around his neck and leant into him, resting on him, the last thing I remember was Edward rubbing my back and humming me a lullaby... my lullaby he had said, Bella's lullaby.

After that, black, darkness.
