Nandini was sitting in garden while sipping her coffee but she looked completely lost... she almost burned her mouth twice... she kept coffee cup aside and crossed her arms together and thought something... one pair of eyes were watching every actions of avni... the person moved to avni and called her name....

Nandini turned around hearing anvi voice and saw she standing in garden with another two cup of coffee...

Nandini : Anvi why you standing there... come here...

Anvi walked around and sat beside Nandini ... anvi passed a cup to Nandini ... Nandini  took it...

Nandini : thank you!

She said before sipping her coffee... anvi sipped  her too... she stopped sipping her coffee and  looked at Nandini who was sipping her coffee.

Anvi : Nandini  Di...

Avni stopped and looked at her...

Avni : hmm!

Anvi : where are you lost? I am seeing past few days you sit in garden and get lost in deep thoughts.... is there something bothering  you... if is then you can share with me.... maybe we can find solutions off it.... Di don't stay quiet....

Nandini : nothing is serious anvi... I was thinking whatever happened in our life... don't worry no harm will reach to Manik ... any harm reaching to Manik   should pass to me before harming Manik .... I will save Manik from every danger even if I have to risk my life... I'm ready for this... anvi but not anyone Manik be alone or suffer in pain.....

Anvi listened to Nandini was feeling happy..... Nandini kept the cup on the table and held anvi's Hand... anvi looked at Nandini confusingly...

Anvi : Di.....

Nandini : I am taking Manik out today.... promise me you will stay with Neela ma... if Manik is my life then you are no less too... I don't want to lose you or Manik .... promise me that you will sleep with maa... and don't leave her telling her okay.... I don't know how long it will take me to come back... but promise you or maa won't step of house in night....

Anvi : I Promise you Di... I won't step out of the house... but Di where are you taking Bhai with you...

Nandini : I don't know myself... maybe somewhere it gives me peace.....

Anvi : okay.... should I bring your lunch here or you will come inside....

Nandini : Actually anvi I am not felling hungry so I won't to eat lunch.... you have yours.... till I see if Manik is wake or not....

Anvi : Di it's not happening.... you are missing her meals... I have not told Neela maa but if you continue doing this then I have to complain to her......

Nandini : okay baba don't complain... I will have my lunch... you sometime I doubt do I have one maa or two... you always act like my mother... but you know I love you...

Anvi : you should be like this... and yes if you don't follow your meals then I can become your mother... love you Di too... come let's go before you leave with Bhai....

Nandini : yeah let's go...

Nandini picked up  her both cup and walked with anvi who was holding her own cup... they both  walked inside and saw kaka sitting on table... seeing him like that Nandini asked anvi to see kaka while she takes the cup in kitchen... anvi Nods and give her cup up Nandini ... Nandini taking three cup went to kitchen....

Anvi walked to kaka and called him...

Anvi : kaka...

Kaka looked at anvi and at the same time Nandini came back from kitchen... Nandini looked at kaka too...

Nandini : kaka what happened? You look worried!

Kaka : nothing beta... just have headache... I will be fine.....

Nandini : kaka take rest... since morning you are working in kitchen... anvi please give kaka head message... he will feel better after that..... hmm!

Anvi : okay Di.... kaka you take rest I'll be there in few minutes....

Kaka : beta it's not needed.... it's small headache I'll be fine after taking rest... you don't worry....

Anvi : kaka I won't listen to you... you go and take rest... I'm coming in room with oil...

Kaka nods knowing they won't stop... anvi looked Nandini  who was smiling seeing anvi's concern for kaka....

Nandini : after giving head message to kaka have your food and sleep in maa's room... okay ana don't worry about me or Manik ...

Anvi : I don't have to worry about Bhai as I know you there to protect him... but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be taking care of yourself.... please before going have something to eat....

Nandini : okay I'll have something light...

Anvi nods and goes to kitchen to get oil for kaka... while Nandini  took bread slices and cuts some salad with them... she then made two sandwiches for herself... she  quickly had her sandwiches and drank glass of water... she then decided to make two more sandwiches for Manik ....

Soon as she finished making them... she kept in plate and filled a glass with orange drink... taking the tray she walked to Manik's  room... she opened the door and saw him still sleeping... she smiled at him then moved inside and kept the tray on table... she settle herself next to Manik  and ruffled his hair....

Nandini : Manik .... Manik .... Wake up.... it's evening....

Manik  hearing Nandini's  voice... he stirred in sleep and turned his body to Nandini's  lap and slept hugging her waist.... Nandini  felt butterflies whenever Manik  hugs her stomach... this wasn't first time.... Nandini  composed herself and called his name again very softly and lovely while ruffling his hair....

Nandini : Manik ... Manik ... don't you want to come with me out.... if you sleep then how will we go out.... i promise after we come back you can sleep like this..... please wake up now....

She said while ruffling his hair.... he slowly distanced himself her and opened his eye... he looked at her before turning his gaze somewhere else.... nothing is new for Nandini .... she knows every little actions of his.... Nandini  sighed and smiled at him....

Nandini : we going out.... before going you need to eat then have your medicine..... okay....

Manik nods and gets off bed and walks to washroom... knowing what Manik's  wants... she too got off bed and went to his closet and took a towel out... she walked inside the washroom as it was open... Manik  never locks the washroom door from inside as Nandini  said not too....

Nandini pushed the door bit and saw Manik washing his face... she smiled and stood behind him..... Manik turned around washing  his face... Nandini  gave him Towel... he took it and wiped his face... then gave towel back... both walked out of washroom... Nandini  kept the towel on couch...

Nandini : i have sandwiches for you and orange Juice.... if you want to something else then let me know...

Manik  nods and sat on couch and starts eating his sandwiches.... Nandini  smilingly walked to Manik's cupboard and set his cupboard neatly....  she came back to bed and aside and pulled Manik's medicine and  starts reading them to see if they are expired or not... checking them she kept the rest back and took one of them.... then she walked to Manik and saw almost finished ana drinking juice.....Manik  drank his juice and looked at Nandini ...

Nandini : here have this after five minutes...

Manik  nods... while Nandini  left the room.... while Manik was lost in thoughts....

Manik  ( mind) what will happen today? Nandini  is behaving  strange today.... first time she didn't feed me.... why? Has she understood that she won't get love from me.... but why does it hurt.... that what I wanted... not her to close to me... why I am feeling hurt...... it's good for you Manik  she won't be coming behind you... you should be happy.... Manik ... she will only be in pain with you.... let her go Manik ... she deserve better.... yes Manik  you should let her go.... you don't deserve love, care.... why would anyone like you will get love care.... I don't have anyone.....

He stopped as he heard door opening... he saw Nandini  coming inside with something in her hand... he frowned and thought to what it could be....

Nandini : did you took your medicine....

Manik : I was taking it....

Nandini : okay...

Manik took his medicine while Nandini kept whatever she brought on table.... Manik stood up and followed her to table... he saw photo of himself smiling...... he got heart attack seeing himself smiling......

Manik ( mind) is this really me.... can I really smile....

He was confused with his own behaviour.... Nandini turned around and saw him lost... she Knew what he was thinking...

Nandini( mind) this is you Manik ... your smile is real... I will make sure you always smile.... no one can take your smile... that's my promise to you......

She looked at Manik who was still staring at his own picture... she clicked her finger front of his face...

Manik : huh....

Nandini : where are you looking? And you know this picture anvi gave me... isn't cute... how cute you look when you smile....

She said smiling at him while he was thinking is it he cute when he smiles... his mind and heart were playing up..... Manik Moved his gaze from the photo frame and avni....

Nandini : Manik we should leave... let's leave... hmm!

Manik nods his head and followed behind banana ...Nandini stopped at moment and turned around then she held his hand in hers...... he looked at her but didn't removed his hand back....

They both walks down and saw anvi sitting on couch with phone on her Hand... Nandini called anvi... anvi turned and looked at them...

Anvi : Di you didn't left yet... I thought you guys already left....

Nandini : we were just leaving... you tell did you eat... is kaka fine now...

Anvi : yes Di I had something to eat and kaka is also fine... he is resting in his room...

Nandini : okay... we should leave now... call me if there is problem... and do tell Neela about us going out....

Anvi : okay di I'll.... bye...

Nandini : Bye!

Manan walked out of the khanna House...Nandini asked Manik to sit on passenger seat while she will drive... Manik nodding his head sat on passenger seat....Nandini took her seat and starts divining to their destination......

An hour later Nandini stopped a car and Manik got confused seeing the place.... he looked at her while Nandini got out off the car and went to Manik side and opened door for him.... she gave him her hand... he kept his hand in hers and came out.... he was totally confused souls seeing Nandini strange behaviour since morning and now this place.......

They both stood front a beach  and looked at  each other.....

Manik again got confuse... he wasn't getting what she wants to know....

Manik : what happened ... why you stopped here.....

Manik : it's sea... but why we stopped here....
