SpaceX launch oneshot

America was doing a last-minute check up on the newest rocket. He was excited to be working on rockets again after nine years of NASA not needing his help. Once he finished with the final inspection, he went back to the control room to watch the launch. He adjusted his snowflake patterned mask and looked over his tablet. One of the younger engineers, who was also looking over the launch, walked up to him.

"Mr. America, are you excited for the launch today?"

"I was excited about it Wednesday, now I'm fired up! I can hardly wait to watch the launch! I just wish Vanya's boss would have let him come," the doors to the control room opened and the two young men walked in. You could imagine America's surprise when Ivan was standing there in a sunflower patterned mask.

"Today is the day, da? I hope you are as excited as me Fredka," Ivan opened his arms. Alfred ran into his embrace and Ivan twirled him in the air. Knowing they couldn't take off their masks, they settled for an Eskimo kiss. Their noses rubbed playfully together and they laughed loudly.

"You two ready for the launch, it's almost time," 

"Yea Gibson, we're ready!" Alfred was jumping with excitement, making Ivan laugh louder. He set the smaller blonde down and gently rubbed his back, watching the large screen. Suddenly, his phone rang. Alfred looked at the caller ID and immediately picked it up, "Mattie! What's up?!"

"Hey Al, if you want to face chat, France, England, Japan, Germany, Prussia, China, and Italies here. We're all excited for the SpaceX launch too, ya know~" Alfred smiled and clicked the face chat button. Everybody popped up with excited smiles on their faces. Alfred turned the camera and set down his phone, letting the others see.

"This is so bloody exciting!"

"I 'ave to agree with you Angleterre! I am also very excited!"

"ZIS IS SOOO AWESOME! IT IS AWESOMER ZEN MY AWESOME SELF!!!"

"Bruder, call down. I am excited as vell, but I am containing it,"

"I wish I was there, it rooks rike an amazing sight, Arfred-san,"

"Ya know, I never could have hoped that we would touch stars. This is more exciting than the first time you two went into space, aru~"

"Ve~ I can't wait for the launch! Is it almost time?"

"Fratello, just be patient!"

"Guys, shush, it's about to start," Alfred said to the camera. The countdown began and Ivan held Alfred's hand. The rest of the crew began to prepare the launch as the rocket began to start. The nations felt every bit of their nerves vibrate until the rocket began to take flight.

"Falcon 9 has launched! Repeat, Falcon 9 has launched!" Alfred cheered and jumped onto Ivan, who also jumped happily. The nations all applauded loudly and cheered with America. The group of nations then quieted down.

"We should celebrate when this bloody pandemic is over! Drinks on me!" Britain offered, making the others laugh.

Yes, the SpaceX launch of Falcon 9 was a great day for our America.
