America is a deer and Russia is a tiger

A nation's animal half is never their choice. They don't decide what species they are fused with. Hell, 3/4 of the nations don't understand why that animal, in particular, was chosen to represent them until centuries after they're born.

You might be wondering how exactly these animal parts work for them?

Well, for one, a nation is born with their respected animal's part. As the nation gets older, they learn how to control their parts. It's just like a light switch, they control when the animal parts appear, and when they want to appear fully human. The parts vary for each nation, and no two nations have the same animal.

For example, England is a dolphin. He was born with a human upper body, but a dolphin tail where his feet should have been. Scotland ended up digging a small pool for his baby brother, providing everything he needed. It took a few years before England would learn his ability to grow legs and took Allistor months to teach England how to walk on them. Arthur never knew why he was a dolphin until he became a pirate. Dolphins held dominion over the sea, much like Arthur had power on land. Dolphins also represented passion, intelligence, exploration, and fatherly protectiveness. Traits England would develop as his empire grew.

But, this story isn't about England. This story is about America and Russia. Well, let me explain those two.

Russia was a tiger. He was born with fluffy, white ears and a tail. Both had black stripes, leading to the conclusion of his animal. Tigers were meant to represent strength, power, and aggression. That scared many nations, so out of fear, they bullied him. Ivan grew up with no friends and a government that constantly made him work. They wanted to bring out that inner tiger and would make Ivan break his back. It wasn't until Ukraine, who was a bluebird, showed him how to hide his animal self that his government backed off.

America was a deer. His animal part of him was one of the rare ones that needed to grow out every so often. His ears were fluffy and sensitive, which allowed him his great hunting abilities. It was his antlers that caused a lot of problems. Because many settlers were scared of Native folklore, it caused Alfred to be accused of being a multitude of wicked creatures. Vinland, who was a wolf, taught America how to take care of his animal parts and how to hide them. Deer represent resilience, gentleness, and innocence. Which is why France, Finland, and England fought for America. They all wanted to raise the deer of the world, unaware that deers were not all shy and cute.

It was because of Alfred's deer part that many nations didn't give him a second thought. Deers were weak after all, right? Wrong. Alfred was a fighter, despite the deer part of him. He was fearless and ambitious, traits not often associated with deer. At America's first world meeting, many nations were shocked to see that he approached Russia. World meetings were the one place where nations could let their animal halves out. So to see a deer approach a tiger, well, it was quite a sight.

We begin our tale at the world meeting that was being held in France. The meeting had barely begun and it was chaos.

"Angleterre, your tail is looking particularly shiny today? Per'aps, you are looking to impress Moi?" France's bunny ears twitch as he pressed his body against England. England's brow irked and he grabbed France's throat.

"Listen here you git, just because rabbits are sexual deviants doesn't mean you always have to be!" the two began to choke each other as they continued to argue. Canada got up, his tiny horse ears flapping.

"Come on, do you two need to fight? How aboot we all get along, eh?" Canada was silenced as the two knocked over a chair. China's fox ears twitched in annoyance while Prussia's coyote tail wrapped around Canada's leg. Germany's bear ears twitched and he held his temples, and Italy fanned him with his goose wings.

America was sipping some cola from a cup, watching all of this go down from the sidelines. He knew why Francis was being horny. It was still his mating season and he was looking for some attention. Russia sat next to him and sighed, sipping a bottle of vodka.

"You seem to not be worried, da?"

"Nah, it's almost October. So he's still in his mating season and is probably itching up the spine at this point. Even if a litter isn't always produced, we still feel our animal halves' desire to have children. I don't worry all too much," Ivan stopped to think for a bit.

"Do deers having a mating season?" Alfred blushed at the question, "tigers mate year-round, but it is more prominent in November to April,"

"Well, the deer mating season is called the 'rut' and it's a pain in the ass. It normally starts in October and maybe ends around mid-December," Alfred took the last sip of his cola and groaned.

"You finished your drink? Have some of mine," Ivan gave Alfred the bottle of vodka with a smile. Alfred chuckled as the two split the bottle, watching the chaos together.

A few months had passed and it was now December 1st. The world meeting was being held in St. Petersburg and most nations were asleep in their hotel rooms. Alfred was laying down in his luxury suite, curled into the covers. He wasn't fully asleep yet, he was still wondering about what the desk clerk had told him.

"Your room was already paid for, your luxury suite is on the top floor,"

Why had he'd been placed on the top floor? Normally, the hosting nation was in the most expensive suite. Alfred kept turning in the large bed, finally getting fed up and sitting up. He looked at the windows surrounding his room, the glow of St. Petersburg was mesmerizing. He got out of bed and slipped on a silk robe, walking over to the window for a better look. That's when Alfred felt like he was being watched, so he moved his head side to side.

"You always had such good instincts, Fredka," Ivan said from a leather chair in the far corner. Alfred jumped a bit and covered his chest. The robe crinkled as Alfred clutched the fabric.

"Holy fuck, Ivan what the hell are you doing in my room?!"

"You mean, our room?" Ivan got up and his robe slipped off. Ivan's eyes began to glow and his tiger ears popped out. He began to walk towards Alfred, the younger backing up until he hit a wall. Ivan looked down at the pinned nation, smiling as his finger grazed the smaller's lip.

"I-Ivan," Alfred's ears and antlers popped out as he began to quiver. He was a deer caught in headlights, like, literally.

"You look tasty~" Ivan licked his lips softly as he gently grabbed Alfred's chin. Guiding Alfred's face towards his own, the two shared a tender kiss. Alfred's ear flattened as Ivan got rougher with his kiss, tearing the robe off him and picking him up. Alfred whimpered quietly as Ivan laid him on the bed quickly, devouring Alfred's lips and neck.

"I-Ivan~" Alfred moaned as he began to feel himself get heated. Ivan continued to leave hickeys all down his body. An hour passed before their lovemaking finally stopped. Alfred's legs were nearly numb and his body was exhausted. Ivan had broken the headboard from clutching it too tight, his rough thrust had caused him to need the support. Alfred could feel Ivan's release drip down his leg and his ass was pulsing.

Alfred was physically exhausted and could not move an inch. So, Ivan carried him to the bathroom and treated him to a nice hot bath.

As months passed, Alfred had changed. He began throwing up, craving weird food combinations, having mood swings, and was constantly fatigued. It worried most nations at world meetings, Finland in particular. His Wolverine half instantly grew protective over America, as the Nordic did view him as his child. Even though some nations had their thoughts, it wasn't confirmed until nine months later.

When Alfred went into labor mid-meeting.

Switzerland took quick action, fanning Alfred with his crow wings. Liechtenstein helped Alfred deliver by singing to him and letting him squeeze her mouse tail. A few hours pass and Alfred gives birth to identical twin girls. Their hair was platinum blonde and their skin was very pale, but their eyes were bluer than sapphires. Both girls had white wings, one with swan wings and the other with dove wings.

Not many needed to wonder who the father was, the hair and skin were more than enough proof. So, after a very loud scolding from eighty percent of the world, Ivan was happily holding his daughters. Alfred smiled at Ivan being a gushy dad and began to fall asleep. Ivan cuddled with Alfred, being sure not to smother their new baby girls. They named the girls Gwen and Zuri, both of the names meant "pure" in their respective places of origin. 

Gwen and Zuri: the lights of their, now, united worlds.

Animal meanings:

Dolphin: aggressive but playful, have great parental instincts, represent power of the sea in some cultures.

Bluebird: loving, charitable, and giving, motherly, wise but clumsy.

Wolf: a natural leader, is a great hunter, extremely protective, family-oriented, a symbol for fierceness and noble warriors.

Tiger: aggressive and powerful, has a large amount of willpower and is incredibly unpredictable, is a fighter but also a tiny bit compassionate.

Deer: innocence and vitality, adaptability and great with change, is a lesser-known symbol of sexual desire, swift and cunning, gentle. 

Rabbit: swift and agile, is a very known symbol for sexual drive, represents vitality, the rebirth in the aftermath of hardship.

Horse: sexual energy, power, agility, and companionship. Is a pillar of support and often is revered as the one to carry others on.

Fox: cunning and manipulative, but also wise and aggressive. It is known for being a sign of danger but is notable for its brains.

Coyote: looks tough but is a joker at heart, is not one to have a filter and will tell you like it is, is rather playful, is a fierce warrior, and will fight when provoked.

Bear: a leader who keeps things grounded and sturdy, is aggressive and is rarely playful, extremely protective over people it loves and is also a symbol of healing.

Goose: is normally one to avoid conflict, it may seem harmless but can actually fight if provoked enough, when it fights you better watch out because you won't escape unharmed.

Wolverine: revenge and fierceness, understands the aggression of others, fights for their family, is prone to attack anything it views as a threat to its family, not one to surrender easily.

Crow: is known to work while in the shadows, eloquent, swift, and often keeps to its own. But, is intelligent, cunning, and bold.

Mouse: is known for being afraid of conflict but is prone to being friendly, rather quiet and shy, but is known to be sneaky when need be.

Swan: is a dreamer and tends to be emotional, is a symbol of empathy, grace, and innocence. Prefers to look pretty, but will fight when provoked.

Dove: the universal sign of peace, rebirth, and longevity, also is a symbol of maternal instinct and female empowerment.
