Ah, Christmas~

Alfred's favorite time of year! He loves that Christmas is a time of giving, it is the one time of year in which everybody gives, everybody is oh so jolly and happy. He loves to volunteer a lot during this time of year, he had already donated 80% of his pantry to the local foodbanks and has given over $500,000 in toys to orphanages.

America, the partier amongst the nations, was always in a cheery mood. Now that Christmas was here, he was ready to celebrate with his children and close family. This meant that Canada, France, England, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, North and South Italy, Japan, Germany, Prussia, the Nordics, and Russia were gathered in America's mansion.

As the snow began to hound down on the Jones' household, we shall take a look at the domestic life of Christmas Day~

"KIKI GET THIS GATOR OFF OF MY LEGGGG!!!" Connecticut screeched as Louisiana's gator began to chomp on his expensive pants, "DAMN IT THESE WERE A LOT OF FUCKING MONEY!!! KIKI!!! ANYBODY!!! HELP!!!"

Kiki came in, along with Estonia who ran in with a poker, and Texas who came in with a rope.

"Hold on, Levi, we're comin' to help ya! Uncle Eduard put the poker in the gator's mouth," the nation nodded and did so. Texas then began to pry the jaws of the gator open, shoving Levi's leg and tying the gator's mouth shut. Ukraine came in with a box of decor and a first aid kit, setting Levi down and taking a look at the wound.

"I'll help him out, Auntie Kat. You can finish decorating," Louisiana's hand began to glow as she knelt to her brother's leg. Norway smiled proudly at his niece as he and England used their magic to decorate the staircase, windows, and other places too high to reach.

"You know, one might think I got used to all these antics already. But, I still find it so hard to believe my little Alfred has grown to be a father to sixty children," as England hung mistletoe over a doorway, Francis pecked his cheek.

"It iz not zat 'ard, 'e always did 'ave a way with children," Francis smirked and Ludwig came in with two plates of cookies. Denmark, who was bouncing a tiny American Samoa on his knee, got up. Followed by Prussia, who was helping Puerto Rico read a book.

"Are those Finland's cookies I smell?!" Denmark yelped.

"Ja, zey just got done. So, be-"

"HOTTTTTT!!!" Prussia stuck his tongue out, panting. Ludwig pinched the bridge of his nose as his elder brother continued to try to cool his now burnt tongue.

"How are ve related, jou dummkopf?" Ukraine chuckled as she hung the stockings on the fireplace, rolling her eyes.

"My sister has been in the kitchen all morning, I wonder what she is doing,"

"Believe me, the kitchen is the one place nobody should go in unless called. It gets really crazy," Iceland explained as he placed a few last-minute gifts under the tree.

One might think that Iceland was exaggerating, he was not.

"NATALIA, WATCH YOUR BACK!!!" Lovino gently put a hand on the small of her back, stopping her from backing into Feli as he carried a bowl of dough, "Fratello, you must warn others when you go behind them!"

"Ve~ Sorry! This is the first time I'm cooking with you guys! I'm a little too excited!" North Italy smiled as he went to his assigned part of the counter. Next to him, Ivan was rolling out some extra dough to make strips for his braided bread knots. Japan was manning one stovetop, making sure the soups didn't boil over and the cranberry sauce didn't burn. The second stovetop was being manned by Belarus, who was partnered up with Lithuania. Both of them were making sure the different pasta dishes were cooked well. Finland, Canada, and Germany were working on all the desserts, Germany having just returned from delivering the cookies to the living room.

Then there was Alfred, who was in charge of his own mini area with all the trimmings. He was working on five honey hams, five turkeys, a pot of gumbo, a pot of chili, his special mac n' cheese, deep frying 200 wings, his own housemade butter biscuits, and six different sauces for the wings.

The kitchen was definitely not to be disturbed.

BOOM

"ALFRED WE HAVE AN EMERGENCY!!!" Berwald busted in, which is how you knew it was serious. Alfred turned down the heat on his stove and set a timer on his counter.

"When the timer goes off, someone has to check on the hams and turkeys,"

"Yes, Chef!" they all called in unison.

Alfred ran out of the kitchen and followed Berwald to the front door. There, on his doorstep, was a basket with a tiny newborn and a few baby kittens and a full-grown cat inside. On the walkway, he noticed a body. Alfred ran out and checked on her, seeing her starved frame blue with death and frost. It was clear she was trying to get away before she died, but she didn't have the strength to do so. Alfred frowned as he picked her up, bringing her to the doorstep. Berwald frowned deeply when Alfred shook his head, gently taking the basket.

As they entered the living room, not many took notice. But, when England got a look at the sad look on his little brother's face, his magic stopped. He gasped as he saw the dead mother in Alfred's arms, the piece of tinsel dropping to his feet. The others took notice when England gasped, running to Alfred.

"She didn't make it, but she wanted her family to," Alfred gestured to Berwald, who was still holding the basket, "I will go put her in the basement, it is cold enough where she won't decompose. We will give her a proper burial tomorrow," Alfred went to the basement door, his footsteps heavy as he went downstairs.

France and Ukraine took a look at the small baby and animals, Ukraine picked the baby up in her arms and Francis tried to pet the mama cat. Denmark and Prussia hung their heads as the young colonies silenced themselves. Everybody could feel the sadness of the newly departed mother, but that would not stop them from having a cheerful holiday. They would make sure this infant and new pets would have a great holiday.

America came back from the basement and went to the kitchen, washing his hands.

"What was the emergency?" Natalia asked as she drained a pot of pasta.

"There was a dead mother in our walkway, she left her infant and animals at the doorstep. She couldn't even get off the property before she passed away," all of the work in the kitchen stopped. Alfred began to tear up as he went back to his stovetop, checking on the gumbo. Ivan and Canada stopped, walking over to him and hugging him on each side.

"You can't save everyone, Al. It's ok to cry,"

"Da, Matvey is right. Fredka, you do so much for the world. It is impossible to help everyone," Ivan then took Alfred's chin and guided his face towards his own, "you are a selfless, loving, kind man who deserves the world. That woman knew you were amazing, which is why she brought her loved ones here. She knew deep down you would have the heart to take her family in," Alfred sniffed and nodded, hugging Ivan, "listen, sunflower. You are amazing, and this Christmas will be the best because we have everyone we love around us. You deserve this happiness more than anyone, and these gifts placed upon our doorstep just prove that the world knows you're perfect,"

Alfred smiled softly as the two shared a tender kiss. As the two broke away, Ivan gave Alfred a look of infinite love. Alfred returned the look with his million sun smile and turned to the rest of the kitchen.

"Ok! Let's get back to work! We have a big family to feed!" it was silent for only a few more moments before the kitchen went back to being a busy beehive.

"Yes, Chef!" they all cheered as they began to cook again.

Out in the living room, Sweden was catering to the newborn baby with Ukraine. The younger territories, Prussia, Denmark, and Iceland were playing with the cat. England and Norway finished decorating and now sat by the fireplace, cuddling into a blanket as they made sure the spell they set on the fireplace wouldn't fail. After all, last year one of the stockings caught on fire due to a rogue ember.

The peaceful atmosphere lasted a short while, as Alfred came over the loudspeaker.

"WHO WANTS SOME SUPPER!!! COME TO THE DINING HALL FOR THE CHRISTMAS FEAST!!!"

Everybody ran to the dining hall as an entire buffet line was set up by the chefs. After everyone gathered a plate of food, they all joined their hands and said a quick grace. They began to devour the food, and Ukraine took a special liking to the newborn infant. She was feeding it warm milk as she ate her own food, acting as a mother to it. Sweden occasionally helped her, as did North Italy.

As they ate dessert, the magical question came up.

"Who is going to name the baby?" Latvia voiced. The boy was holding the tiny thing, smiling at it. The baby smiled back and playfully smacked Latvia's cheek.

"Better yet, who is going to keep it?" Estonia followed, "it was left on Alfred's doorstep, but it seems to have taken a shine to Katyusha and Raivis,"

"I think since you two already visit me frequently, you should take her. After all, you guys come to visit at least once every three months. I can always send you money and stuff if you need it, no questions needed," Alfred smiled as he gently tickled the infant's cheek, "wait, is it a 'her'?"

"Da, she is! I already changed her diaper to prove it," Katyusha smiled brighter than Alfred, showing how much she truly adored this tiny gift. Alfred nodded and stood straight up, beginning to clean up.

"What are you going to name her, big sister?" Belarus giggled as the little girl nibbled on Natalia's fingertip.

"I was thinking of naming her Noel, because of it being Christmas. Noel Faith, isn't that a sweet name for her?"

Everybody nodded. Alfred noticed how the kittens and cat loved to cuddle by his fireplace with his children, so he knew he was keeping them. As the night began to settle, the children and nations opened their presents.

Soon enough, night fell and Ivan and Alfred were laying in bed. Alfred and Ivan had just given each other their own presents, and the two sweaty men now were panting in each other's arms. Lovebites and hickeys littered both of their bodies and Alfred couldn't feel his legs. But, the two were plenty content.

"You truly are a gift to the world, Fredka," Ivan carefully took Alfred into his chest, allowing the younger blonde to lay on over his heart. Ivan combed his fingers through Alfred's hair, making the smaller hum in comfort.

"You really think that?"

"Da, I always have. You were so sweet from the moment I met you back all those centuries ago, you never lost that kindness you had as a child. I love that you always remained generous and loving, which is so hard to find nowadays. I truly am blessed to have a husband like you,"

Alfred kissed Ivan's scars on his neck, hugging him closely and chuckling.

"I'm the lucky one, you are so patient and kind. You give the warmest hugs and make the yummiest food. You have such an amazing voice and are wonderful with children. I am blessed to have a man like you in my life," Alfred cuddled even closer and smirked, "not to mention your talent in bed, God damn,"

"Oh you naughty husband, you're asking for it," Ivan then began attacking Alfred's neck.

"Come and get me, big boy,"

Moaning echoed across the walls well until dawn.

After a nice healing bath and regaining feeling in his legs, Alfred and South Italy began to plot the land for the unknown woman's burial. Ukraine was feeding the baby once again, and England was knitting a new blanket for the little bugger.

The burial was lovely and the personifications honored the unknown mother kindly.

Every Christmas, Noel would be showered with presents and the nations honored the mother.

Everybody loved Alfred's Christmas even more with their tiny Noel.
