Divya was of 2 years old and her parents said her they will be going out and give her a surprise when they return back. She sat quietly as obeyed her grandmother and ate on time and slept early so that the morning comes soon and she can see her surprise.

The bright sunlight disturbed her sleep, she slowly rubbed her eyes and opened them, one can look at her big doe eyes forever ❤️. She quietly tiptoed to the living room, she didn't find her parents there! She was disappointed. But then she heard a cry of a baby. She quickly turned and went towards the place where she could hear the cries of the baby! She saw a cradle and a baby inside it.

Her face was filled with surprise and happiness. She smiles wide and saw that baby,she noticed that the baby smiled at her and she was shocked. Her father, and mother came and saw the baby too and introduced the little bundle of joy to his sister.

She quickly placed hand on her brother's face and he smiled and giggled. The perfect family picture to be captured! They wished that the moment stopped there,but days passed too soon and both their children grew up and they were in high school.

Anand, the 10th grader and Divya the 12th grader

Divya : Nanduuuu!!!!( Anand's Nick name) Come soon, I will miss my physics class,first of all I don't understand if I don't listen explanation. If I miss this I will be dead.!

Anand : Coming 2 mins divuu!!

Divya : Ah! I am girl! I got ready before you,why are you taking so much time? From past half an hour you are saying 2 mins. If you don't come in next one min you will regret mister!

Nandu rushes out and they both get into the car,where the driver drops them to the school.

They both bid bye to each other and Divya pecks Nandu's forehead,that's their routine.!

Anand : Yaar didi! When will you stop pecking me? I am not a kid anymore.

Divya : You might not be a kid anymore,but you will always be my baby brother! See ya! Have a good day!

Divya winks at him and smiles. Anand glares at first then he also smiles quickly and leaves to his class.

It was break time and Divya sat in the canteen. Anand rushed to her and was out of breath! It seems he ran to her,but she doesnt know the reason so she raised her eyebrows questioningly at him!

Anand : Di!

Divya : Cool! Calm down! First sit and breathe properly! Yes! What happened why are you in rush?

Anand : Di did that Rohan propose to you?

Divya : umm! Yes, but I dealt with him  don't worry! How did you know that by the way?

Anand : I have my own ways to keep my di out of trouble! Of course I know she is clumsy all the time,but as a brother I should protect her na! One last thing, if that Rohan troubles you more,you better say me that! Or else you know what happens right?

Divya : You boy! How dare you say I am clumsy?

She runs behind him and finally gives up when the break bell rings. Anand stuck his tongue out and went to his class.

Farewell day of grade 12th students,that night in Divya and Anand's home.

Anand : C'mon di! I can stay in the school without you! There is nothing to worry.!

Divya : No Nandu you messed with many of your seniors for me and now even I won't be there! There are some siblings of the brothers whom you fought with.! I am worried if they will do something bad to you!

Anand : Di! You don't know but your brother is stronger than you know and expect. You don't worry, I will manage if something is really serious then I will tell you definitely. Pinky promise 😘

Divya : I won't even think a second if you hide something from me ! I will directly come and kill you!

Anand : Ahh! Di enough is enough you must sleep now! You were so damn tired! Oh wait I forgot something! I have a small gift for you!!

Divya : What is that? You know I love surprises! Awee! Nandu how will I live without you!

Anand : And the surprise is..!! Tantadaaaaaaaaaa...!!!! Open!

Divya eagerly grabs the box and opens it.! She finds her favourite Novel,which she was dying to read,it was a limited version,she couldn't buy it.!

She quickly hugged her brother tightly and tears rolled out from her eyes,

Divya : I love you so much Nandu... Never expected this! How did you come to know that I couldn't buy it?

Anand : I overheard your conversation with mumma, I know it's wrong but you know I can do anything for my mischievous sister,just to see a smile on her face!

Divya : When did my brother grow up this much? Aweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ❤️❤️, I am going to read this right now!

Anand : Go on and don't be late in sleeping,or else you will get dark circles and we don't want a zombie sister in our home.

Divya : You!!

She throws a pillow towards him, and he quickly catches it throws back to her and runs away. Divya giggles and read her book, slowly she drifts into sleep.

When Divya has to go to other city for her studies and Anand stays back

Divya : Nandu! What yaar! Don't be this sad! I will call you daily definitely! In two more years you can be there too! We can live together and have fun.!

Anand : But these two years? Okay divuu! Promise me you won't be too clumsy, take care of yourself and eat and sleep on time and won't be committed to anyone 😉!

Divya : everything is okay! But why shouldn't I be committed to anyone? Why shouldn't I get into a relationship Nandu! You already have a girlfriend and being two years older to you I don't even have a relationship till date! Shit.!

Anand : Miss Divya Krishnan, I don't want you to face trouble there! Incase you find someone also, I will first interview him and then will say you whether he is perfect for you or not! Dare you take another step.

Divya : At times why do I feel like you are my elder brother! You act like you are such an elder and I am baby! Get this into your brain! I was born first and later you! Huh!

Anand : aha! Wait

Anand starts tickling divu and she shouts and laughs and the giggles fill through the room.
