Katherine's POV

I put my purse in my suitcase and my suitcase is ready! Oops I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself. My name is Katherine Michaels and I'm 20. I'm currently packing my things because I'm going to Canada for study. Actually I'm planning to become a professional photographer and the University to which I go has given us an assignment that is to take some photos of nature( forests ,animals etc...).

But the problem is that in Mauritius, there's no dense forest thus no wild animals. So I decided to go to Canada because:

1-The forest there is such a beautiful view.

2-My uncle, Sam, stays there.

3-My best friend, Delilah, is already there waiting for my arrival.

Well Delilah and I go to the same University studying the same thing... I think I'm boring you with that too much details so let's calm it down now. 'Well everything I need has been packed...' My thoughts are broken by the sobs of my mother. Uff mothers these days, so dramatic!

'' Mom! I'm going for only 6 months. No need to cry mommy.''I said to her almost laughing at her pouting face.

'' Kate my daughter, it's the first time you are going away from me for so long. And that too travelling all alone! I'm bound to be worried and sad sweety!'' She exclaimed and suddenly broke into tears.

''Kate! Time to go sweetheart!'' My dad yelled from downstairs. I sighed in relief. My dad saved me from my mom's crying face.

I don't know how to ignore that face of hers. I'm afraid that I won't be able to travel in peace but finally she calmed down and wished me good luck and told me the basics. You know :Have lunch and dinner on time. Take care of yourself. Don't talk to strangers etc...

Seriously sometimes she exaggerates a bit. But anyways she's a mother and mothers worry about their children. So finally I was going. My dad and brother will drop me at the Airport. So I hugged my mom very tight as it will be after 6 month I'll be meeting her.

Now here I am, in the car, on the way to Airport. Canada! Here I come...
