Baekhyun was not willing to get up and face the reality of his life the next day but he forced himself to get up.

He would get beaten if he didn't do his chores.

He arrived at school early and headed to the library to meet Kyungsoo.

This time Xiumin was there and they were studying for an upcoming chemistry exam.

Because there were so many different species in the school, we all had general subjects we studied and then they were specialized subjects according to race and abilities.

Sciences were mostly a magical creatures kind of thing.

I told them the new development in my life and the two witches were beyond shocked.

"Just allow us to curse them, Baekhyun," Xuimin said in anger.

What father gives away his child like that?

"No guys. I just need to find my mate...or someone else to claim me," Baekhyun said looking defeated.

He only wanted his mate but now if he runs out of time he might need the help of a random wolf from another pack.

He can never allow Daehyun to take him. That would be a life of torture.

A few minutes before first period Baekhyun walked to his locker, carefully to avoid his pack mates and other bullies.

He got his books and closed his locker when it happened.

The same scent from yesterday passed through his nostrils.

It was stronger than before and had to be the most delicious scent he had ever smelled.

'Find mate. Claim mate' his wolf called.

Baekhyun had never been filled with so much joy in his life than he did at that moment.

His mate was somewhere I'm the school with him and he had to find him but when the bell finally ran everyone rushed to class and Baekhyun had to do the same.

He was restless for the first periods of the day. He needed to go and find his mate. His wolf demanded it.

At lunch time as soon as he entered the hallway he caught the scent again.

He followed it but to his disappointment it led to the cafeteria.

Everyone would be there and it wasn't safe for him.

He didn't want the first time his mate saw him was being bullied by other students because he was the runt of the pack.

He met Kyungsoo and Xiumin on the rooftop and they asked him why he looked so down.

He explained everything that had happened since morning.

"Let's wait for him outside just before knock off time. We will stay hidden so that no one bothers, Baek." Kyungsoo suggested and they all agreed.

As soon as the final bell rang the three friends were waiting outside in a secluded area.

They watched as students walked out but had no luck until most of the school was out.

"Did he already leave?" Xiumin asked.

"I don't know. Maybe we should go check inside," Baekhyun said with a frown but at that moment the passing wind carried the now families scent.

Baekhyun turned to face the school entrance and his blue eyes locked with the amber eyes of another male.

He was tall and the most handsome man the little omega had ever seen.

He had a colourful hair and was dressed in a white graphic T-shirt, black leather jacket and jeans.

He was perfect and he was walking towards them.

"Oh no he is coming here." Baekhyun panicked but was frozen in place.

"Who is he?" Baekhyun asked.

"Oh that guy. He is one of the new students," Kyungsoo said.

"The fairies," Baekhyun said in shock.

Oh no. His mate can't be a fairy. He will become the laughing stock of the pack.

The tall male stopped right in front of them, his eyes still locked on Baekhyun.

"You're beautiful," was the first words he said as his deep voice boomed into the air giving Baekhyun goosebumps.

"Ah..." The omega literally couldn't speak as he was captivated by the beauty of his mate.

Fairies were known for their beauty and charm. Baekhyun wondered if he would be able to resist the male before him.

"And you smell so delicious, I could just eat you up," he said and this time the witches stepped in.

"Who are you? "What do you want"? They asked at the same time.

He silently looked at them for a while before giving them the biggest smile.

Kyungsoo and Xiumin were mesmerized by his beauty.

"My name is Chanyeol. I'm a new student here along with my brother Sehun and his mate Luhan. What I want right now is my mate and you're standing in between us," he said.

The two witches were shocked and turned to ask Baekhyun who nodded in response.

They moved away and left the two alone.

"What's your name?" Chanyeol asked.

"Baek...Baekhyun," he stuttered. He was crazy nervous around his mate.

"Baekhyun. That's a nice name. My little, Baek."

"I'm not little," Baekhyun said with a frown.

"You are little to me. And adorable too. So beautiful," Chanyeol said as he caressed his cheek making the omega blush.

"My little mate." That comment snapped Baekhyun back to reality.

"But you're a fairy and I'm a werewolf. We can't be mates," Baekhyun said causing the fairy to frown.

"So what? I don't care. Even if you were human, I would still accept you. We were paired for a reason," Chanyeol said.

"No. I need a strong alpha mate and not a pretty fairy," Baekhyun lashed out before he turned and ran away leaving his mate heartbroken.
