Bianca's POV

I was fuming. How dare Connor echo the name of another woman with the same tenderness as mine?

"Who is she?" I spat looking at him with disgrace.

"I don't know!" He yelled, he was crying, shaking. I was mad.

He's telling the truth. Flair said trying to calm me down.

Then why call another woman's name?

I don't know, but he isn't lying. He loves you.

I sighed.

"I'm going to go for the night... We'll talk in the morning when I've calmed down."

His face fell.

"Please stay, I beg you." He looked me in the eyes.

"Call Eleanor." I said.

I hurriedly put back on my clothes and jumped out Connor's window. It was past curfew, but I was strong, I could make it home. I couldn't believe Connor, calling the name of another woman like that. Like if I wasn't enough/ More than enough...

Stop walking. Flair alerted me. I stopped walking.

Why, what's wrong?

I smell blood.

Before I could think another thought my vision faded and m world went blank.

Eleanor's POV

"21 bodies!" My father's voice rumbled as he yelled at me. He was furious. I was too reckless he said.

"I was hungry." I whined, "Needed some sweet boy candy."

He sighed.

"There's nothing wrong with that... one or two or even three perhaps. But 21! We can't bring too much attention to us. You can't just act for yourself princess. You have to act for the entire Covern."

He held my face in his hands and rubbed my cheeks.

"My sweet Eleanor, when will you learn the price of power? The responsibility that comes along with it."

I hated disappointing my father. He was the only thing in the world that mattered to me. I thought he would be proud that I was able to land such a  huge kill by myself.

"I'm sorry daddy."

He kissed my forehead.

"It's okay darling... about  your task though. Were you successful?"

I smirked.

"Of course I was father. No human can resist my enchantment. I'll have Bianca delivered to you by the end of the night."

He smiled and my body felt like warm honey.

"That's my girl, My Eleanor Theadora Eliza Delilah Regina Nightshade. Always making her daddy proud."

I smiled.

"Always."

He dismissed. me. I needed to ensure that everything went smoothly tonight. That I cold kidnap Bianca and bring her to my father to be his bride.

"I see you're still standing." Dominic my brother teased as I walked down the grand silver hallway.

"I deliver results. Something you aren't able to do."

He pushed me against the wall his face inches away from mine.

"Shut up bitch." He slapped me hard across the face before placing his thumb on my lips, "know your place Eleanor. Around here you're nothing but a pretty face."

He let me go... I hated my big brother... but I had no time to think about how I felt. I had to kidnap Bianca, for daddy.

I snapped my fingers and put on an all black, silk, skintight dress. The colour of the night for the lady of the night. 

"Going out your highness?" The guards asked as I approached the door.

I nodded.

I looked at the moon, it was 9:45 pm. Bianca and Connor should be just about finished with their agreement by now. I smiled. I loved the way I could get into a man's mind, make him yearn for me, even if he was in love. I descended from our hideout to the corner of Connor's street. I hid in the bushes waiting for Bianca. As if on queue, I saw her walking. She looked terrible, her face hard and eyes full of anger, of pain. I laughed. I waited for her to stand in front of the bushes, her face changed as though she recognised something was wrong, but I was too fast. I lounged at her, biting her then injecting her with a tranquilliser. She tasted amazing. Her blood was rich and sweet but also spicy... I wanted more but I had to resist her, she belonged to my father. I snapped my long black cape off and willed it into a floating map. I placed her onto it and made my way back to the Covern. Father would be pleased.
