When we were done with the mall we ended up going back to my place. I had to rest a little because I had a game tonight.

"Are you coming to my game tonight?" I asked Mitch.

"yeah! For sure!"

"okay cool! We should ask Lexi!" I said.

"alright!"

Texting Lexi I told her to come over to my place.

"Ryan! You made it!" I heard Leon say.

"What do you mean I made it?" I asked.

"not you!" he laughed.

Looking over to the front door I saw Nuge, Maroon, and Mcdavid.

"Yeah! I didn't think I was going to come today cause i'm tired after that practice we had today!"

"well i'm glad you could make it!" Leon said.

"let's go" I whispered to Mitch.

Dragging him towards my room we went in and sat on my bed.

"so! I was thinking about draft day, and I was wondering because I get to bring a plus one, if you wanted to be my plus one?" Mitch asked.

"I would love to come!" I smiled.

"alright sweet!" he pulled me into a hug.

We ended up falling over and lying on top of each other on the bed. Just lying there laughing Lexi walked in and looked at us.

"I KNEW IT!" she screamed.

"knew what!" I asked.

"That you and Mitch were going to date! I totally knew it ever since the first day of school!" she cheered.

"yeah whatever Lexi!" Mitch laughed.

"so! We called you here because we want you to come to my game tonight! You have to cheer on the Renegades" I told her.

"Ryan your team is called the renegades?" she asked.

"yeah...? what's your team name?" I asked.

"We're the Warriors" Lexi laughed.

We all just burst out laughing because our team names weren't very good. Hanging out for a few hours before I had to head to the rink we just ate food and talked.

"Ryan!" Leon yelled.

"What do you want?" I walked out of my room with Mitch and Lexi following.

"How many tickets do you want for the game on saturday?" he asked.

"three?" I looked at Mitch and Lexi

"I have uh to babysit but next time!" Lexi said.

Sending her a look I looked back at Leon "just two then" I smiled.

"alright i'll get them to you tomorrow night" Leon said ruffling my hair.

Rolling my eyes we walked into the kitchen.

"so my dudes! i'm making myself dinner. Do you guys want me to make you something?" I asked them.

"I'll just have whatever your having" Lexi said.

"yeah me to!" Mitch said.

"Yo Marner. Get over here!" I heard Connor yell.

"i'll be back" he walked into the living room.

"So Ryan! How long has this you and Mitch thing going on?" Lexi asked.

"like only a few hours!" I laughed.

"really?"

"yeah! He hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet though! We just told each other that we like each other" I smiled.

"well I hope he asks you soon because you guys would be so cute together!" Lexi gushed.

"Thanks!" I laughed.

Turning back to the stove I put the rice in the rice cooker and turned it on. Cutting some chicken up I threw it into the pan.

"Ryan!" I heard my brother whine "make us food!"

"no ya goof! I have a game tonight. Y'all want food you make it yourselves" I yelled back.

"ohhh" I heard the other boys laugh.

Shaking my head and laughing I took the chicken out of the pan and put it all in a bowl. Hearing the rice click I took the pot out of the cooker and took everything to the table.

"Mitch! Dinners ready"

I heard him get up and run to the table. Lexi came to the table with the plates and utensils. We all sat down and started eating. About ten minutes later I looked at my phone and saw the time.

"ah shit!" I yelled.

"what!" Lexi and Mitch said.

"i'm going to be late."

Dropping my fork on my plate I got up from the table and ran down to my room. Pulling on my sports bra and a hoodie, I pulled on sweatpants grabbed a hair tie and ran back out to the hall to grab my things.

"Lexi! Can you drive me?" I asked.

"yeah sure!" she said pulling her keys out of her bag.

Picking my bag and sticks up I met Mitch and Lexi at the front door.

"By boys i'll be back later!" I said to them.

"Where are you going?" Leon asked.

"she has a game you moron!" Nuge smacked him.

I laughed and walked out of the door with Mitch and Lexi. Going down in the elevator we got to Lexi's ford focus.

"So! What rink am I driving you to?" she asked.

"Grant Fuhr arena?" I said making it sound more like a question.

"alright! get in!"

Shutting the trunk I hopped into the front seat and Mitch got into the back.

"So how's your team been doing this year?" Mitch asked.

"pretty good! We're on a steady uphill climb and hopefully we'll be making it to playoffs if not the season is over in the next two weeks!" I said.

"oh ok! Well let's hope you guys make it to playoffs then!" Mitch said.

"yeah let's hope!"

The rest of the drive was pretty quiet. I guess we were all tired. Once we made it to the rink Lexi dropped me off at the front and went with Mitch to find a Tim Horton's.

Walking inside I found Maddie and Darby.

"Hey my dudes!! I'm so sorry i'm late!"

"lady your not late! Half the team isn't here yet" Maddie laughed.

"Oh my god. What time is our game?"

"7:45" Darby said.

"oh!" I laughed.

"cmon crazy let's go!" Maddie said dragging me into the dressing room.

"Alright"

Following them down the hallway I walked into the dressing room. Setting my things down I grabbed my water bottle and went to fill it up.

Totally forgetting about the makeup under my eyes some of it was starting to rub off.

"yo Draisaitl! What the hell did you do to your face?" Maddie yelled.

"I got punched at school, no biggie"

"no way! You got into a fight!" she said.

"uh yeah. I guess you could say something like that"

Putting my water bottle under the thing it started filling it up.

"you should take the makeup off so you look tough against the other team!" Maddie suggested.

"Whatever mad-dog!" I laughed.

Once we were done filling our waters we walked back to the dressing room and started getting ready.
