Lexi had come over around a hour ago to get ready for Mitch's game with me. We just did each other's hair and makeup then helped pick outfits.

When we were done getting ready I pulled out the tickets and we went to get our shoes on.

"Ryan! Your tickets for the game tomorrow night are on the fridge!" Leon said.

"Thanks dude!" I said slipping on my shoes.

Walking out of the apartment we got into Lexi's car and she drove us to the rink. It took us forever to get a parking stall which was super inconvenient.

Finally we had found one and started walking towards Rogers Place.

"So! Have you and Mitch talked about what you guys are going to do when he makes the NHL?" Lexi asked.

"no, we haven't actually he has to make a team first!" I smiled.

"yeah true! If he makes the Leafs do you think you'll go with him?"

"I don't know Lexi, can we please just drop it?" I asked.

"uh yeah sure"

Pulling out the tickets I gave one to Lexi. Going through the security and getting our tickets scanned we were finally inside.

"don't look now but there's Lucy and her little minions" Lexi said.

Looking over to where she was pointing sure enough Lucy was over there. She caught me looking and started walking over to us.

"We need to walk and fast. She's coming over here." I said.

Grabbing Lexi's hand I pulled her towards where our section was. Hoping to lose Lucy in the crowd.

Finding our seats we went to go sit making a plan to get snacks at the first intermission. Looking around I could see Lexi's neon pink coat, they were sitting in the 200's thank god. They hopefully wouldn't be a bother for the rest of the night. We still had about two minutes until the boys came back on the ice for the first.

"Lexi, your not actually babysitting tomorrow night are you?" I asked.

"no! i'm not. I wanted you and Mitch to have a date night!" she smiled.

"oh okay! but your going to be at the game?"

"yeah I am! Nuge got me a ticket, I think i'm in the box with the wive's and girlfriends which will be weird."

"that will be weird! But i'm sure they are all very nice!"

We laughed a little and then we had to stand for the anthem. I looked and saw Mitch on the blue line, he was starting.

Once the anthem and puck drop was done the game had started. It was a pretty good first period and Mitch's team was winning by one.

Me and Lexi went up the stairs to get to the concession. Buying each a water and a popcorn to share, we went back to our seats just to sit and talk until the game started again.

Once the game had ended the Oil Kings had lost in overtime. Walking downstairs we waited a little off to the side for Mitch to come out of the dressing room. Looking over I saw a blinding pink coat and instantly knew it was Lucy.

"Hey girl!" she said walking over to me and Lexi.

"umm hi?" I said.

"Don't act like that! We're besties remember?" Lucy asked.

"yeah! We're best friends! all of us" Claire and Emily said.

"umm alright?" I forced a smile.

Looking over at Lexi she rolled her eyes. I tried to stifle a laugh but it was no use I burst out laughing and so did Lexi.

"Ryan!" I heard Mitch call.

Running over to him I flew into his arms.

"good game baby! I'm sorry you guys lost, but you'll get em next time!" I smiled up at him.

"thanks babe! And yeah, next year!"

"oh?"

"yeah we're out of play offs"

"i'm sorry I had no clue" I smiled sadly at him.

"it's okay! At least I have to draft to look forward to now!" he smiled.

"Right! That's going to be so exciting!" I said.

Lexi walked over to us with Lucy, Claire, and Emily trailing behind her.

"what are they doing here?" Mitch whispered.

"no idea" I shook my head.

They all came over and Lucy opened her mouth and started talking to Mitch.

"So Mitch! some of your teammates are pretty cute and chance I can get you to introduce me to them! After all your little girlfriend over here" she pointed to me. "is my best fiend" she smiled.

She really needs to stop with the best friend thing.

"Yeah! well maybe another day, me and Ryan and Lexi really have to go!" Mitch smiled.

Grabbing my hand he pulled me away with Lexi trailing behind us. We left the three others behind and left the arena.

"They don't know when to quit do they?" Mitch asked while he drove us to Lexi's car.

"I guess not! I was trying so hard not to laugh when she called me her best friend!" I laughed.

"ooh same!" Lexi laughed.

"Mitch can Ryan go home with you?" Lexi asked.

"yeah! of course!" He said.

"your kicking me to the curb lady?" I asked.

"yeah sorry! I'm just going to Ryan's house and I thought it would be easier for Mitch to take you home!" she said.

"ouhhh!! Your going to Ryan's house!" I said wiggling my eyebrows.

"shut up Ryan! We're just going to be watching movies" she said.

"yeah right!" I laughed.

We made it to Lexi's car and dropped her off. After saying goodbye Mitch started driving back to my place.

He made a small detour to drop off his gear at his billets house and grab some new clothes. We made it back to my apartment and went inside.

"Hey little sis, and Mitch"

"hey!" we both said.

"where are the other boys?" I asked.

"They all went out tonight partying or something" Leon said.

"you didn't?"

"i'm going now! I didn't leave when they did. They left at like 7 and have been there for like four hours already" he laughed.

"oh okay, have fun!" I smiled.

Leon left the house and it was quiet.

"So! Do you wanna watch something on netflix? or we could rent a movie" I said.

"doesn't matter to me! We could look on netflix and if we don't find anything we can look at renting something!" Mitch smiled.

"yeah sure! I'll be back"

Running to my room I quickly threw on a pair of shorts and a hoodie. Walking back out I saw Mitch making himself comfortable on the couch.

"You look comfy" I laughed.

"I am!"

I smiled and took out my phone snapping a photo.

(just pretend his hair is darker and that it's dark out lol)

"You better not post that anywhere Ryan!" Mitch warned.

"don't worry! I'm saving it just for me, no one else should see how cute you are especially Lucy" I gagged at the end.

"Ryan! You shouldn't be that mad at her she's just after the other guys on my team, they won't ever go after her! and besides in a few months you'll be rid of her forever" he got up and hugged me.

"yeah alright" I said.

Walking into the kitchen I went into the pantry to try and find something for snacks. Finding some chips and other junk we sat down and just rented a movie. Eventually we fell asleep on the couch.
