"Y/N dear. Wake up honey, remember you wanted to wait for the first sun to help with your greenhouse?"

Aunt Shakky was shaking you awake, while you stretched and slowly got up, you smelled coffee and wanted nothing more than to drink it right away, but diet had a lot to do with how your powers worked. So, before you could have a wonderful cup of caffeine, with your homemade goat's milk creamer, you had to eat a high in protein breakfast and at least 4 cups of water.

"Thanks Shakky, but you don't need to do this each time you know? I feel bad."

"Sweetie helping you figure out your abilities is something an elder witch loves to do for their family and fellow witches. It always fascinating seeing your abilities work."

"I make plants grow and can talk to animals. You can control minds. I think your ability is cooler."

"Agree to disagree. But come on. Rayleigh is downstairs with breakfast."

"He's awake!"

You were genuinely shocked, that man never woke up early for anything, unless it was an emergency. This was not an emergency.

"Yep, in fact, today we are going to spend the first part of the day together."

"What's the occasion?"

The look she gave you was one of shock and confusion.

"Sweetie, it's our anniversary of being here. Of us safely making it here."

You felt really dumb. You'd made plans with Perona for today and now you weren't sure if you could keep them.

"Now c'mon the sun is going to rise in an hour, and we want to be able to see what you do."

Breakfast was quiet, but nice, it was a bittersweet memory. That day that you had gotten here, on one hand you were sad about your mom, who you assumed was dead, but you also remembered the relief of making it here. Safe and sound.

After you drank another glass of water, you took your dishes to the sink and cleaned your plate, Shakky and Rayleigh also did theirs. You put on your gardening clothes, they already had holes, and dirt stains that wouldn't come out, but you didn't care. You loved being in your greenhouse. There were flowers, cacti, trees of all kinds of different fruits, vegetables, succulents, and even a few pine trees. What most didn't understand was that plants thrived better when they were around different kinds of other species of plants, the pollination worked better. You even had a couple of bee hives in here, and since they could get their food all year round, your greenhouse was usually always thriving. You even let in some smaller animals to come in along with some birds. You'd told them that they could eat their fill but nothing more.

Walking into your little piece of heaven, you took in a deep breath, and waited for Shakky and Ray to come in. They took a seat on a bench they'd placed in here. They claimed it was calming in here, and you often found them sitting here, not talking just simply being here.

"Mother Earth, Father Sun, Sister Moon. Thank You again for keeping my garden thriving and helping me, my family and the many animals who come to visit. I ask that you allow me to help it along, due to Brother rain not falling as often this year."

After you said your little prayer, you felt the warmth in your hands grow, and then the sun hit you, you felt your power grow exponentially, you placed them on the dirt and felt the spirit of the earth thanking you, and you could see your various plants getting better with each passing second. An hour later, you could hear the bees starting to buzz, and you heard Thomas the huge rabbit who would come in every once in a while.

"Hello Thomas. How are you?"

"I am getting old little witch. How do you think I am?"

"You know, there are plenty of pine tree you could use to make a new burrow."

"I've been in my burrow since I was considered a kitten girl."

He went right to the cabbages and took one and left. Making you chuckle.

"The potatoes can be harvested Shakky, you can do potato soup in the cafe today. And...hmm. The peaches, apples, and cherries are also ready to harvest. Everything else needs about another week."

Rayleigh started to get the fruit, and you and Shakky began to get the potatoes. Another hour and you were all heading back to the house, that doubled as Shakky's cafe. You froze when you saw three figures standing in front of it.

"Luffy c'mon this place isn't even open yet."

"I don't care, I want to eat here. I can wait!"

"Like hell you can, you've been whining and bitching for the past hour. And you came barging into our rooms way too early this morning."

Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zora and Vinsmoke Sanji were standing in front of the cafe door. Rayleigh cleared his throat making all the young men turn around.

"Hello gentlemen, how can we help you?"

Luffy was about to say something when he saw you and his eyes widened.

"AH it's you!"

He pointed right at you, and you felt Shakky and Ray stare at you worried evident in their postures. You needed to calm them down.

"You seriously still pissed off that I didn't want to play dodgeball? Get over it, it's over and done. And we don't open for another hour. You'd be better off eating somewhere else."

He pouted and your guardians relaxed. Before you could tell them to leave, Luffy's wings made an appearance and he swooped the basket from Ray's hands and started to eat the peaches in the basket, while he was flying in the air. He was wearing a red button up shirt, and a leather jacket with jean shorts and converse. He was cute but a little too boyish.

Still pretty cute though.

You shook your head mentally and saw Vinsmoke and Roronoa trying to reach their friend in the air.

"Hey Luffy! What the hell? Sorry about that sir!" Sanji who was a half vampire, smiled with his fangs on display. He bowed to you, and you simply nodded your head.

"THESE ARE THE BEST PEACHES I'VE EVER HAD! I HAVE SO MUCH ENERGY!"

"What are you talking about Luffy?" Zoro a shapeshifter, shifted into an eagle and pecked at his friend until he landed on his feet, and then shifted back. He plucked a peach from the basket and took a bite, his eyes widened when he looked down at it.

You were getting worried, you knew that your food would be more delicious than what was sold in stores, especially since you'd helped them grow with your abilities. Usually the fruit was baked or made into jelly, some of the effects still lingered but not enough for supernaturals to get energy from like this.

"Holy shit! These are delicious! I usually hate peaches, but these are amazing!"

The half-vamp was also curios and then he took one and ate it. His eyes lit up and he grabbed another one.

"Okay boys, we need those peaches for jam and a pie so can we have them back?"

Shakky's tone may have seemed nice, but she was stern making the boys shiver and lower their heads. Part of her powers at play making them listen.

"Sorry..." Luffy reluctantly handed the basket back to Ray and seemed sad. "Can I have a hug?"

He held out his arms to you, making you flinch. He couldn't touch you today, you were brimming with energy and him being an incubus would suck it all away. He may not mean to but it would happen. If he was as hungry as he said, he would subconsciously take all your energy and you would be bedridden for at least a week.

"No. Please don't touch me. You make me uncomfortable."

You heard the shocked intake of breath from his friends. No one was ever uncomfortable around Monkey D. Luffy, he was the embodiment of friendly. In addition, no human, who wasn't mated or bonded to another supernatural, usually could rebuke an incubus' affections.

"You heard my niece, now I think you all should leave. Consider the peaches as our apology that you waited for nothing. Here's a few more for the road, now...leave." Shakky was using her powers, and it worked because they all left without a fuss, you did notice Luffy looking behind him at you, you turned your head to walk inside.

"Y/N, we need to be more careful." Shakky was whispering, but you knew what she really meant, you needed to be more careful. "An incubus is a lot more sensitive to auras and energy, and with your abilities being the embodiment of energy, you're in more danger of being found out.

You took a deep breath and released it.

"I'm sorry..."

"Honey I am not mad at you. I am worried sick. I have to redo your blocker, but I don't know if it'll help anything and I don't want to bind your powers, that will make you miserable being unconnected to the earth and the animals."

"I released a lot of magic today. I can wait another month before I have to absolutely do it again."

Ray held you close, and Shakky smoothed your dirty hair.

"I am still sorry." You whispered, tears threatening to spill at the thought of having to leave or run due to you accidentally being found out.

"Let's get cleaned up and get this jam and soup made. We need to make sure we have enough sweets for when Perona shows up. I like that girl, she's freaking cute." Ray had said, you grimaced and Shakky hit him over the head.

"Don't be a creep Rayleigh!"

{6 hours later}

"One day Y/N! You are going to have to tell me the recipe for your jams! They taste the best!"

You giggled as you two went through town to window shop and eat every sweet thing you came across. Eating processed food would help your witch energy dwindle faster. It wasn't that you didn't enjoy a hamburger, ice cream, candy, donuts and things like that, they just didn't blend with your body well or your magic.

Currently you were sitting on a bench eating a box of 25 churros. You were not sharing these, they were your favorite, you'd bought Perona her own box.

"So, the Monster Trio came to your house?"

"Yeah, apparently Luffy wanted to eat there but we weren't open for another hour. We gave them peaches and sent them away."

"Shakky told me that you were uncomfortable around the incubus. Why? Don't human girls fall head over heals for his kind?"

"I don't know. He just makes me feel weird. And I know what attraction feels like and trust me it's not that. He's cute I'll give him that but other than that, I'm just not one of those girls who is okay with touching people I don't know."

"You let Eustass Kid, Killer and Law touch you."

"Law is harmless, he and I have a school relationship and that's it. He pats my head sometimes and I give him high fives every once in a while. Killer hugged me once, because I found his motorcycle after it was stolen, and Kid...while yes he makes advances, he backs off when I show disinterest. Luffy seems like he wouldn't listen to anything anyone said unless he cared about them. I think the only reason he didn't hug me was because I was the first human to tell him no."

She pondered that for a moment before eating more of her churros. Being a shape shifter tended to drain her energy. You remembered when she had to shift over and over again in PE to see how many shifts, she could handle at all different sizes before she ran out of energy. You'd taken her to the infirmary and had given her a little energy to recover faster. She was a little weird, and very much goth, but you both clicked very well.

"Okay I'll drop it for now. So after we eat all this sugar where do you want to go?"

"I wanted to go to the garden shop and see if they got any plants that I can revive, or new seeds. I want to get a new pair of shoes too. Other than that I don't really know."

"We can go to Arlong Park! They'll be closed soon for the winter months, and then we'll be limited to where we can go. Please?"

You smiled and nodded your head in agreement, you'd never been there, and it sounded fun.

An hour later and you had bought your passes for the day, you put your money and cards in your cell phone case, and placed it in your pocket, you both put your bags in a locker to keep safe, and then went to the first ride you found. It was a coaster that seemed to have lots of loops and went really high in the air. Contrary to popular belief, witches couldn't fly on broomsticks, they couldn't fly without the help of a supernatural.

"Well, well, well look who we have here Killer."

The deep voice that resembled a growl came from behind you, and you and Perona turned to see the two people you really shouldn't be around. Kid and Killer, along with Heat and Wire and their mates. You kept your face as neutral as you could but it was hard. First an incubus, and now werewolves? Could this day get any worse?

"Hey it's Jaggy and his friends!"

I just had to ask! Fuck my life for real!

"Luffy-ya don't run about like that, it's too sunny to deal with your energy...Y/N-ya what a pleasant surprise."

You groaned and Perona also did. Everyone looked at the two of you; Kid was staring at you mischievously, Law in surprise, and Luffy in confusion and hurt.
