You awoke feeling rested and your body light. It had been a while since you felt this way. Turning you saw Luffy was asleep right next to you. His face relaxed and peaceful.

Suddenly you remembered. You went through an awakening as to why you weren't sure, but you cried and in front of this damn incubus!

"Fuck!"

You attempted to sit up only to feel his arms wrapped around you, you also felt something else, coiling around your thigh. It was his tail.

"Hey!" You whispered shaking him trying to wake him up, his tail tightened and slithered further up, you yipped. This was all too much and it was embarrassing, considering the fact that the more his tail moved the more you felt your core warm. Shit he was using his abilities subconsciously!

"Luffy you need to wake up!"

His tail was now searching for something, and you went still and tried to think of anything than how you were being touched. Trying to calm yourself down! The purring started and you knew you were screwed.

"Luffy seriously wake up!"

You froze and looked at Luffy's face, and gasped. His eyes were red, his ears pointed and black marking appeared on his shoulders and neck. Holy shit he was also awakened! His inner beast finally coming out.

<Monday>

"You smell different." Is the first thing Perona says to you when you get into class, feeling tired, drained, exhausted all of it. Nika visited nearly every night, and you weren't sure you could handle another visit.

"Do I?"

"Yeah...I can't place my finger on it. Did you find a mate?"

Your eyes went wide, that couldn't be it. It was just the fact that you were a witch of life.

In another life and if you had been human you would've accepted his offer.  Kid while a trouble maker was a good Alpha to his pack members and their mates. You nodded and your class started. But you couldn't focus it felt like your world was crashing all around you. You're appetite leaves you as you think about the witch hunters, you just sit down and place your head on your arms when suddenly you're yanked back by your hair and thrown across the quad.

You didn't have time to scream until you felt something wrap around your throat and squeeze tight.

"YOU! HOW DARE YOU!"

Hancock?!

She started to bang your back into the wall over and over again. The pain making you see stars in your eyes. Then you were airborne again and landed in a thud.

"What the fuck are you doing you crazy bitch?"

Then your world went black.

<3rd Person POV>

Luffy had wanted to find you since you'd made him go home two days ago. He felt drained and annoyed. Even eating lots of meat wasn't helping, at first he wasn't sure why, until Pops had told him he needed to stay with Y/N.

He hadn't really understood the reason why, but he figured he could search for Y/N and see if she wanted to sleep over at his place.

"Hey Luffy you ready for lunch?"

Zoro called out to him and Luffy smiled, he was hungry more than he had ever felt. Just as he was about to stand he felt pain all over his body, and it made him fall to his knees.

"Luffy you okay?" It was Nami and she was rubbing his back, Luffy hadn't felt this kind of pain ever.

'You idiot! Find Y/N now! She's in trouble!'

Luffy had no idea who that voice was but figured it wasn't important. His wings came out and he flew following your scent.

What he saw made his stomach drop, his friends were beating you. They were throwing punches, kicking and pulling your hair. Before he could move Jaggy shifted into his huge blood red wolf, and roared. He even bit Hancock on her thigh and shook her about and then chucked her across the quad. The roar he let out made Luffy bristle and then suddenly his world went dark. And he felt like he was watching a movie and not being in control of his body.

"GET AWAY FROM MY MATE YOU FUCKING MUTT!"

Luffy couldn't recognize his own voice, and judging by the looks he was getting everyone was shocked. He felt his body swoop and kick Jaggy away from you. He felt pressure being released from him and his friends were suddenly in pain.

Wait what's going on stop you're hurting them!

I don't fucking care! They almost killed our mate! Look at her!

Luffy did and his heart hurt. Why would his friends do this? Even Vivi was there she had blood on her knuckles.

"What the hell do you mean mate asshole?! I've asked her to be mine! She was going to accept me!" Jaggy had on a pair of shorts and nothing more.

"How could you Luffy! Do we mean nothing to you?"

Luffy tried to push forward so that wasn't true and that they were still his precious friends but whoever had control of his body, more importantly his voice wouldn't allow him to say that.

"I believe I was pretty clear in my text message a few days ago. You are no longer needed. I have found my mate. She provides me exactly what I need all of what any of you ever did was make my hunger pangs worse."

There were tears in the girls eyes.

"Luffy!"

He heard Ace yell out, along with Sabo and Zoro, they all froze when they saw him. He carefully bent down and lifted his little mate to him.

"I've got you little witch. I am so sorry."

The voice whispered to Y/N. Looking at her, Luffy felt his heart break, and some other pain he coudnr describe.

"I claim Silvers Y/N as my mate in front of all here those who seek to harm her here is a taste of what you will feel."

That unfamiliar energy was blasted towards his friends and they all fell to the ground in pain. Luffy wanted it to stop but whoever was in control was finding pleasure in their pain.

"Luffy stop you'll kill them!"

"I don't care. They deserve death after what they did to my mate. They were going to kill her. Luckily the red mutt over there stopped them."

Kid's heart was breaking. He'd noticed she smelled different, but he heard Perona there was no mate mark anywhere on her body at least where he could see. His inner wolf whining, he knew that Y/N was the idiots true mate. And that bond was more powerful than a chosen bond. But fated bonds were so rare hardly anyone waited for their fated at all any more.

But Kid didn't want to give up on Y/N. Being around her calmed his beast and him. Monkey D. Luffy wasn't getting her without a fight!
