"Here is your new ring," a pissed Amy said.

I took the ring from her and put it on. I couldn't stay long without a daylight ring because of the sun. If I even caught a ray of sun, my skin would burn.

"And now please tell me how you lost your other ring. Klaus will be very upset to hear such news," she said her hands on her waist.
And I knew that pose well, she wouldn't leave without and explanation. So I chose the easy way out.

I kissed my girlfriend. It worked every time I got into trouble and she would cook up a lie to defend me.

"Nice try Andrew but that won't work today," she said pushing me away from her.

"You still went out and you knew that would upset me. What is so interesting that you have to leave everyday?" She sincerely sounded hurt, I was acting like a jerk, I knew. This girl has been here with me all my life.

I also didn't mean to find a liking to that other girl. I still didn't know her name. The first time I saw her was when she trespassing. She was lucky that the warriors were tired that day but regardless we had a witch's barrier to protect us. Klaus would have torn her to pieces. I followed her into her territory and saw her shift. I may have seen her naked but I'm not a freak. I turned the moment I realised she was changing.

Let's say I wasn't subtle when I was checking her out. I mean she is very beautiful and elegant. I kind of memorised the time the warriors change shifts and go for breaks, then I would go and see her. Just from a distance. It was in my favour because she kind of has this habit of staying at her balcony and looking at the place.

She also has this sad eyes. I think she lost someone important to her. What freaked me out was when I heard her mention the name Xander. I saw her singing of stage, she had a very nice voice.

"Sorry Amy, it won't happen again. I promise this time."

"I know because we are moving to the human world."

To say I was shocked would be an understatement. Why would we move? Did it have to be when I told her to find me? Fuck!

"Why?"

"Apparently Klaus knows about your adventures and also his mate wants a change of scenery," she said the word mate as if she hated it. I had known that she loathed Klaus' mate, Sandra. I don't know why.

"Can't they just go on their own. I mean some of us don't want to move." I wanted to see her again. I really did. If we moved I wouldn't be able to.

"You know the drill, we move as a pack. No one is left behind."

I let out a sigh and moved to the window.

"Just start packing, we leave tomorrow morning."

"Fine."

Amy left after that, maybe to go make a plan with Klaus. I just didn't know why we moved so much. Were we running from people? Had we broken any rules?

I had so many questions for that girl to answer. I wanted to know the guy's name that she called me and now because of some snitch I wouldn't. Xander. That name sounded familiar. I just can't remember why I heard it from. She looked so scared when she said that name.

Was it a former lover? I suddenly felt a pang of jealously at that thought. What is wrong with me? I barely know the girl and I'm already getting sentimental about her. This is fucked up.

I could leave a letter, yes, a letter. I start looking for a pen and paper around my room.

"What if she does not find it?"

"Then I'll find another way. Try being supportive buddy," I say.

"No I mean seriously, what if the letter falls in the wrong hands? You could put her in so much trouble."

He is right, always is. Then what do I do? I want to see her so bad?

"Then go pay her a visit."

"I can't because..." I say turning to the source of the voice. I swear I became two feet shorter.

"Of what?"

Sandra.

Oh no.

"What do you mean no?" I practically yell at him.

"You heard me no, and keep that weird voice of yours down. You are talking to an alpha, and I demand respect."

"And if you forgot I'm also an alpha so I demand respect as well."

And then guess what happens next? The pathetic excuse of a man laughed. If I wasn't in such a bad mood his laughter would have been music to my ears, but now it was noise.

"You are no alpha child. Just an infant who doesn't know when to stop pestering adults," he said with such a cool tone.

Alpha Xavier, alpha of the River wave pack. This pack is known for its very good reputation of scaring off visitors. I mean we only visited my uncle when I was never years old. My mom said that Xavier didn't approve of the relationship between his brother and her. So none of us were invited to his kingdom, if you can even call it that. I mean they have this fancy house and don't get me started of the pack house. It is huge. Sad that I have to see all that in photos. They may even have changed the layout.

Xavier's pack also has it's charm. Their symbol are tattoos. They have three unique ones then you can tattoo your whole body. They have one on the neck, arm and back. I only know that their backs have tattoos of wings, I don't know why.

Even though we are family with this crocodile I still love his neck tattoo, but beyond that we are rivals. He once tried to cut my alpha bloodline by telling a witch to draw all my blood out and fill up my body with omega blood. I will never forget the fight that he got in with my dad. I had to spend seven months in the pack hospital, including my birthday, sick freak.

He later says a half assed apology saying that the witch had done something to him. He didn't even know what, psycho.

"Well at least I don't try to kill people, uncle. You know I don't think banishment from my pack was enough punishment. You should have lost your title and then try and reclaim it from below, even below an Omega's level," I say that with a straight face.

His face actually turns red and looks like a cheetah ready to pouch on me and kill me.

"Well that was some family reunion," interrupted Alpha Chris. Well he's been quiet for a while. I wonder what is on his mind. Even during breakfast he wouldn't look me in the eye.

Thanks the goddess we didn't argue during this visit. Oh well.

"We shall let the council decide whether you will go look for him. You will give us time to decide, in the mean time we could have some family bonding. Don't you agree Stacey?" Xavier says.

He knows very well that I hate his guts but his senseless ego gets to his head.

"When hell freezes out I will be sure to pay you a visit."

I wish I had a camera at this point. If eyes were guns I dont think I would live to see another second.

"Enough with the insults you abomination. I won't sit here and have you disrespect me. I am the leader here and a powerful one," he says with a voice that sounded more of a roar.

"One day I will challenge you uncle and I assure you that you will kneel down to me. You have my word."

With my beautiful speech I leave for them to gossip about me and when they stop make a decision for me to search for my mate.

"You know that if and when she challenges you she will win. Her will is great and a hidden truth behind it."

"That's what we have to prevent."

"I wish she could see what she is trying to do, it will hurt all of us."

"Maybe its all for the best. I'll go and talk to her before I leave."

"And Xavier even if you tell her no she will find out and it will hurt."
