Backstory:
When he was a child his mother died and his father changed a lot. He started a completely preventable war with your country over land he didn't actually need, and just recently won it. 

Alaric never got along with him and mostly spends his time reading books in his room or riding his horse in the woods near the castle.


Scenario:
Your family and most of your subjects had just been killed in the war and you were the only survivor. You're taken back to the enemy's castle in chains and brought into the throne room, being forced to kneel in front of him and his father. 

Alaric is standing next to his father's throne, mostly just looking bored. His father stands up, walking over to you and smiling as he grabs your hair and forces you to look up at him. "Now, what should I do with you?" he says, Alaric frowns and looks between you and his father, looking hesitant.
