May I Tell You How Much I Love you?
Tate smiled at me, as I had just taught her sign language. "Thanks Parker!" She said happily. She preferred to call me by my real name instead of Unnamed. I smiled back. I fought the urge to make the sign language symbol of 'I love you!' I wanted to, but I pushed back the urge. This was something I wanted to tell her. Not write it. Not make a symbol to tell her. But to tell her with words. I knew that I would someday find out how to get my voice back. That would be when I would tell her. 'Someday.' I promised myself.
Tate yawned and looked at the clock. "Oop- 9 pm." She said. She grabbed her bag and jumped off her chair. I smiled and waved. She turned around and waved as she walked out of The Home. "Bye Parker!" She said, opening the door and leaving. I'm smiled and mimed a sigh. 'Beautiful...' I thought. She really was. Her long blond hair, pale blue eyes, and cute, black-rimmed glasses. All of it beautiful. Gun walked over to me and looked at me. "Whatcha doing Unnamed?" She asked. I smiled and grabbed my notebook. I wrote; 'I was teaching Tate sign language. She left just a minute ago.' Gun nodded. I mimed a yawn and wrote on my notebook again. 'I'm gonna go to bed. Goodnight!' I jumped off my chair and walked to my room. My room was very neat and plain, as my room was fairly new. It had blue walls and white fluffy carpet. There was a grey dresser, white desk with lots of supplies, some grey shelves of some sentimental items, and a blue-framed bed with white sheets. I had a pile of papers on my desk.
The papers were one sentence sayings that I made to describe how I felt. I didn't know why I did this. I walked over to my desk and tapped my pencil on the desk, thinking to myself. I looked back at a sheet of paper. I thought of Tate. How much I wished I could tell her I loved her. I put pencil to paper and wrote;
May I tell you how much I love you?
