Bill allowed a few tears to fall down his face. "What do you mean she might not wake up!?" He yelled.
"Sir you need to calm down." The healer said.
"You expect me to calm down, when my girlfriend may die!" Bill yelled. Adria seemed to suddenly pop up. She put a hand on his shoulder and tried to walk him out of the room.
"Come on Bill, let's go back to the Burrow." She said softly.
"No Dria! I'm staying with my girlfriend... I'm staying with Jules." Bill said forcefully.
"I'm saying you are coming back to the Burrow. Come on Bill... Don't make me get Nikio." Adria said just as forcefully. Bill nodded and followed her out. Adria apparated them back home. Bill didn't say anything, he just went up to his room and slammed the door.
Adria sat down on the couch and put her head in her hands. "Adria." Charlie said cautiously. When she looked up, there was only anger in her eyes.
"That man... He nearly killed her. He was supposed to be her father and he nearly killed her!" She yelled getting up. Alex made to get up, but George pulled her down. Adria stormed outside and walked over to one of the trees on the edge of the forest. A cool breeze pulled her hair off of her face as she selected a tree. She let out a frustrated scream and punched the tree as hard as she could. When that didn't make her feel any better, she continuously beat the tree, pounding on it until her fists were scraped and bloody and her hands stung. Nikio, smelling the blood, came over and pushed her hands away. "He tried to kill her!" Adria yelled, trying to get to the tree again. Nikio pushed her out of the way again and let out a warning huff. Adria suddenly burst into tears, a rare sight for anyone to see. "Her own father tried to kill her!" Adria yelled through her tears. She suddenly let out a loud, earsplitting scream. Nikio wrapped her tail around Adria in a comforting manner. Then, the pounding of feet was heard throughout the clear night. The family approached with their wands raised. Adria let her head snap over to them. Charlie took a hesitant step forward and then another. He grabbed Adria's hand and slowly lifted it up.
"What did you do Dria?" He asked.
"I got angry... So I punched that tree." Adria muttered nodding towards the bloodied tree.
"Adria!" Alex groaned. She walked over to the girl and lifted her other hand. "How many times did you punch it?"
"I lost count after ten." She said. Bill walked over. He looked a little better, but you could see the pain in his eyes. He wiped away the tears on Adria's face. Fred and George walked over and placed a hand on her shoulder, and Hope came and pushed some strands of hair from her face. Charlie healed her hands. The rest of the group approached. They stood in silence for a few minuets before Adria spoke again. "She was my sister after Marci moved away. She was always there, even when she had problems of her own. I told her everything. I can't loose her!" Bill nodded.
"She was my first real friend. She listened to me when I ranted on. Even though she couldn't speak, it seemed like she said a lot." Bill spoke. "She's going to live."
Even though she was in a coma, Juliane heard everything. The healers that came in every day, to check up on her, the beeping of the machines, and her family. She heard Bill come in everyday and speak soft words to her, telling about his day, and the pranks that the triplets pulled. Then Adria would come. She would take Juliane's hand, and she would cry. It was all she would do. How Juliane wished to comfort her in those moments. It was like she was sitting in a dark room. There was no light, no food, no way of escaping. So, Juliane did what she did best. She listened. She listened to Bill's stories, she listened to Adria cry and curse her father, she listened to Alex whispering words of hope, she absorbed them all. She had no sense of time but she didn't care. Hope, Harry, and Harmony came into the room one day. "I know we aren't that close, but you were like a ray of sunshine. You were kind, and funny and amazing to talk to." Hope said quietly.
"Bill's like a broken man without you. He cries to himself every night when he thinks he can't be heard. He never leaves his room except to visit the Hospital. He only comes down the stairs to get food and then leave." Harmony said. Juliane felt her heart ache at those words, a single tear fell down her still body. The three gasped.
"There's no way." Harmony muttered.
"Get a healer!" Hope exclaimed.
"I'll go get Bill." Harry said getting up and rushing out of the room. Juliane saw a small light, she walked towards it, and it got bigger. She kept walking and heard someone enter the room.
"Juliane, it's Bill. If you can feel my hand, squeeze back." She felt someone grab her hand, and used focused on moving her fingers. To her surprise, she gripped his hand tightly in her own. "Juliane!" Bill cried, his voice thick with emotion. Juliane reached the end of the tunnel. She was now standing in a completely white room, a contrast to the darkness she was in before. She recognized it as her old bedroom, before her mother died, and sitting on the bed, was a woman with curly red hair that was pushed back by a bandanna.
"Mum!" Juliane let out a cry at the sight of her mother.
"Oh my baby! I'm so sorry that your father did that to you." Her mother had tears in her eyes at the sight of her daughter. "Oh, I'm so proud of you... Come sit with me darling." So Juliane sat, clutching her mother's hands for dear life, afraid to let her go.
"Mum, what are you doing here? I've missed you so much. What's happened to me?" Juliane let out a string of questions. Her mother chuckled a watery chuckle.
"Juliane, I'm here to talk to you. You face a choice. You can either stay with me, or go back to the real world." Her mother said, her kind, forest green eyes were trained on Juliane.
"Where am I?" Juliane asked.
"You are in the in between. The world between death, and living. I was granted permission to come and speak with you for one more time, or to bring you back to limbo with me." Her mother explained.
"I'm still a-alive?" Juliane asked before something dawned on her. "If you're here. Can't you come back? Doesn't this mean you're still alive?"
"I'm sorry pet, but my time has already come. I simply cannot come back." Her mother informed her, causing Juliane to visibly deflate.
"But-But I don't w-want to leave you." She said, tears threatening to fall.
"I have nothing left for me in the world, other than you. I made the choice when I was dying. I chose to get away from your father, but I left you in the process. It was one of my biggest regrets." Her mother responded, looking at Juliane sadly.
"What do I do mum?" Juliane asked, glancing around.
"I think, that you should go to him." Her mother whispered. "You will come to me later in life. I want you to live before you join me." Her mother's advice caused Juliane to let out another sob. Her mother held her in a familiar embrace, clutching her daughter tightly, her tears wetting Juliane's hair.
"Okay. I love you mum. More than life itself." Juliane whispered after a while. Almost immediately the world around her, and her mother seemed to fade. "Wait! No! I'm not ready!" Juliane shouted. Her mother just waved with a sad smile playing her lips. Juliane's eyelids fluttered open.
