Juliane sat at the table at Grimmauld place, staring at the wood in shock. The rest of the family were in the living room, most of the kids crying. No jokes were being made on that evening. Well, it was around one in the morning. Both Bill and Juliane were awoken by a pounding on their door, instantly fearing the worst, Juliane was told to go with Rebel and protect him as Bill made his way down to the front door.

"Who's there?" He exclaimed, his wand aimed at the door.

"It's Adria and Charlie." Adria had answered. Bill opened the door, without relaxing his wand, and kept it steadily aimed at both of the adults, including Adria, who was looking more pregnant by the hour.

"Where did we go to get the ring?" Bill asked, his wand on Adria first.

"My father." Adria answered calmly, knowing the drill. Bill lowered his wand only slightly as he pointed it at Charlie.

"What did you get me for my birthday last year?" He asked.

"That's a trick question. I didn't get you anything, but Adria got you a tiny dragon statue that she carved." Charlie answered. "Can you lower your wand? This is an actual emergency, and you're slightly scaring me." Bill tucked his wand away.

"Sorry about that." He apologized before yelling, "Little Anne, it's Adria and Charlie!" Juliane came walking slowly down the stairs, her wand out before she noticed Charlie had tear marks streaked down his face.

"Oh Merlin, Charlie! Adria! What happened!?" She exclaimed ushering them into the house. "Do you want tea? Hot chocolate?"

"Tea sounds really nice right now," Adria said, lowering herself into a chair. "We have some news though." Juliane made her way over to the stove and started preparing tea.

"What's wrong?" Bill asked, sitting across from them. Rebel started to cry from upstairs, probably from all of the noise in the kitchen. Juliane walked up the stairs and the crying began to cease. She walked down the stairs a few minutes later, holding a sleepy looking Rebel.

"What were you saying?" She asked, balancing Rebel in one arm and using her wand to place the tea gently on the table. Bill grabbed his mug and took a sip of tea.

"Bill, dad's been bitten by Voldemort's snake, and he's now in the hospital." Charlie said swiftly. Bill spat his tea out onto the table and all over the floor.

"WHAT!?"

What Charlie and Adria had told him was true. Arthur was in St. Mungo's because he was bitten by Voldemort's snake, and nearly died, and Harry and Harmony had seen it all. The house was silent as everyone was still processing the information. Juliane felt sympathy for Harry and Harmony. As much as she didn't appreciate the two and their ways, they were still children and didn't deserve to see what happened to Arthur. The house was usually alive with chatter and laughter, but as Juliane walked into the living room, where the children were all sitting around the room, solemn-faced. Hope was sitting on the couch, comforting Fred while he cried. Even the triplets weren't cracking any jokes. They were all trying not to cry, well George and Fred were. Alex allowed tears to flow freely down her face. Juliane walked over to the twins, who sat, looking guilty.

"It's not your fault you know." Both looked up as they heard Juliane speaking to them. She had made it clear where she stood, but now it seemed she was changing her mind.

"What?" Harry asked, looking surprised that the woman was even speaking to them.

"I-I said it's not your fault that Arthur was hurt." Juliane took a shaky breath as she sat next to them. "I know I've been kind of a bitch to you two, and I apologize for what I did."

"Juliane, you were right. It took you telling us those things to make us realize we were being horrible siblings to Hope, and now both Harry and I are fixing it." Harmony said, a small smile gracing her face. "Thank you."

That Christmas wasn't a very fun one. Hermione, Janessa, and Ada had shown up, along with the demigods, after catching the knight bus to Grimmauld place, and Hermione was decorating the tree with Ada, attempting to bring some Christmas cheer to the dreary house, which seemed even sadder after the news that brought the cheery spirit, downward faster than one could say 'Merlin' and everyone knew it. The family was just getting by, and the new arrivals were helping with that slightly by making the house more festive.

Janessa had made it her personal duty to make Alex happy and was there for the girl. Especially after she walked into Alex's bedroom and found her breaking everything in sight with tears racing down her face and a silencing spell on the room so nobody could hear her. Janessa ran into the room and stopped Alex from breaking anything else, and then fixed her bruised and bloodied hands. After that, the two had been practically inseparable. George and Fred often shared knowing looks and exchanged various money for each one had ongoing bets.

The next morning the family got up, ate a large breakfast prepared by Molly, and then prepared for the journey to St. Mungo's. Bill was nervous to see his father and extremely worried about his condition. There was no news from the hospital on how he was doing, and that just made the worry and anticipation everyone was feeling worsen. Especially Molly who cleaned and cooked to distract herself from everything happening. Nobody blamed her, but everyone felt how sad she was. Anyone could see it if they just looked into her eyes. It was her husband after all. Bill walked into the living room, where Sirius was talking swiftly to Juliane while he made a large fire to keep the dreary home warm.

"Juliane, it's time to go." Bill said. Juliane smiled softly, and handed Rebel, who she was holding, to Sirius.

"Remember, at two it's his nap time, and at one he has lunch. I left a bottle in the fridge. All you have to do is warm it up. Oh, and please don't give him more than one bottle. I will know." Juliane said, a warning tone lacing her voice.

"I know, I know. I've taken care of children before Jules." Sirius said, rolling his eyes playfully. "I wish I wasn't cooped up in this stupid house."

"You'll get out soon. Dumbledore's working on it." Juliane answered, kissing Rebel's forehead. "Be back soon."

"Bye. Have fun at the hospital." Sirius waved as Juliane walked over to Bill and grabbed his arm.

"You ready?" Juliane asked Bill as they walked outside. Bill looked down at Juliane for a few moments.

"As long as you're there with me."
