Chapter 20

Juliane was awoken the next morning, by not Bill, like usual, but Hope. It was surprising for the woman to have the young witch to wake her up, seeing as Bill was usually the one to do so. Not that Juliane was complaining. "Juliane, come on! The twins are leaving." Hope said, shaking Juliane awake.

"Wake me up in an hour." Juliane groaned.

"Nope! Bill's already downstairs. And plus, you have an order meeting today so you need to get up now!" Hope exclaimed, jumping up and down on the bed.

"Hope Potter I swear to Merlin." Juliane grumbled, rolling over and closing her eyes, praying for sleep to welcome her.

"Come on!" Hope exclaimed, unphased by Juliane's mood. In reality, the reason that Juliane didn't want to go down the stairs, was because she wanted to avoid Harmony and Harry as much as possible. After her talk with Harmony the night before, Juliane didn't feel like speaking to the twins, even though Harry had nothing to do with it. But Juliane knew that as soon as she went up the stairs, Harmony went running to her twin. Telling him all about the conversation the two had. "Please hurry." Hope sounded impatient, and a tad desperate now.

"Fine!" Juliane huffed, standing up. She knew that Hope wouldn't stop until she got the woman up. It wasn't in the witch's nature to quit, and Juliane admired that greatly, but she still wanted to sleep. The two went downstairs, to see Harry and Harmony getting ready to leave.

"Morning." Juliane yawned.

"Hey love, have fun sleeping?" Bill asked.

"When do I not?" Juliane answered cheekily, with a small smirk.

"I can name a few times." Bill murmured in her ear.

"William Weasley!" Juliane exclaimed, smacking him on the shoulder. She then turned to the twins with a kind smile. That was forced. "Good luck. These things aren't as bad as they seem."

"Er... Thanks." Harmony looked surprised that Juliane was even talking to them at all, given the events that had happened the last night.

"Come along you two. Don't want to be late, do you?" Arthur asked, walking briskly down the hall.

"Bye everyone!" Harmony called over her shoulder as they were pulled out of the door. As soon as it closed, Juliane was walking to the kitchen.

"I'm starved. Anyone else want some breakfast?" She asked lightly.

"I'm not that hungry." Sirius said, clearly worried about his godchildren. Juliane internally scoffed. She wondered if he would be that worried about Hope, given the fact that she wasn't Sirius and Sera's real godchild. Juliane walked over to the man, her kind nature taking over. It wasn't her fault that she cared for her brother.

"Don't worry Sirius. Dumbledore won't let anything happen to them." She comforted. Inside, she felt the bitterness growing. It was alright though. Juliane knew she had to move on, and push those thoughts behind her. She wouldn't turn into her father.

"I know Jules. I just worry about them, you know? They get themselves in a lot of trouble."

"And they always get out of it don't they? And even if they get expelled, they'll always have you, and Sera, and Hope, and the entire order to back them up."

"That's true." Juliane could see Sirius turning back into himself more and more.

"Now. Let's go eat. I swear to Merlin I would eat his beard if I could right now."

Harry and Harmony got home around lunch time. Hope had been pacing the floors all day. "Hope, you're going to make a hole in the floor if you continue doing that." Juliane had said.

"Haha Jules. I'm sorry. I know that you worry about me but I'm fine. I can handle myself. I'm just worried." Hope had responded, taking deep breaths.

"Don't worry about it Hope. They should be home soon." Juliane had assured her. And soon was a lot closer then any of them had thought as the door to the house opened up slowly, and the twins walked in. Their faces, blank.

"What happened?" Sera asked, immediately coming out of the kitchen. Assuming the worst.

"We... We are free." Harmony said, a grin taking over her face.

"Well that's incredible!" Hope exclaimed, running over and giving them a hug.

"We need to go tell the rest of the group. Coming Hope?" Harmony turned to her sister.

"Sure. The order meeting is starting soon anyways." Hope shrugged following them up the stairs. Juliane raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, I know that look. What's going on?" Bill asked, coming in.

"You know how I told you about my conversation with Hope last night?" Juliane asked. She had told Bill using sign language, which none of the other people in the household knew. Bill hadn't been surprised. Juliane had been talking about how Hope was taken out of the spotlight for years. It wasn't Harmony's fault that Juliane decided to break in front of her. But, Bill supposed, it certainly helped. That way, Juliane didn't have to vent anymore. Well, she still did, but about other matters mostly.

"Of course." Bill responded.

"Well, I think that Harmony's trying to get me to like her. She's including Hope more. It's strange." Juliane pondered out loud.

"I think that Harmony learned from what you said, and now is trying to change her ways. Now. Let's get to the order meeting."

Juliane sat in the meeting, bored out of her mind as Dumbledore went over various plans. It was shocking for the witch to be bored in the presence of the great wizard Dumbledore, but she was to caught up in her own thoughts to focus. When she did, it was incredibly boring. The meeting took a strange turn however, when Astrid Yonni, Anora Kailos, and Greene Jones walked into the kitchen, halfway through the meeting. "Ah. There you two are. Have a seat, we are just waiting for one more person." Dumbledore said, his crystal eyes twinkling.

"Yes sir." Greene said, his eyes filled with seriousness but with a playful look behind them. Anora looked worried at what was to come. It was no secret to the order that both Astrid and Greene were obsurus' but they didn't care. Little did the entirety of the order know, Greene and Astrid had been working on controlling their obscurus so not only did it not come out when they got emotional, but they were able to turn into the black mob on demand. This was all at the request of Dumbledore, who knew that it was valuable to have all the magic they could, and an obscurial could take out an entire village in minuets.

"And so, if we..." Dumbledore continued explaining the plan, but Juliane was the most interested in Astrid. She had taken pity on the girl, knowing what it was like to be tortured at a young age. Astrid had gotten the short end of the stick though, because her father had ended up putting the obscurus inside her, without even knowing. Juliane could see that Astrid lived with the guilt of killing the entire village everyday. But she had Greene and Anora. The two had adopted the girl, and she lived a better life now. Again, Juliane was pulled out of her thoughts, by another person entering the kitchen. "Hello Severus." Sirius immediately stood up, lunging across the table, trying to reach the man. Sera pulled him back, attempting to calm her husband down, but her eyes still burned black with red irises. Sera was an angry mermaid, and even her own bothers knew, never to touch Sera when she was angry. Astrid stood up, and greeted the man with a hug. To everyone's surprise, he gave the girl a tight hug back.

"Are you alright?" He whispered to her.

"I'm fine. Just confused." Astrid whispered back. They pulled away, and Astrid dragged Severus to the seat next to her own. Greene gave Severus a nod, and Anora gave him a smile before all attention was on Dumbledore.

"Now. There is one final plan, and it involves Astrid." He said.

"W-what? Why do you want me?" Astrid asked. Clearly she was shocked.

"We need you to become a spy for us. Join his army, and tell us what he's planning."

"NO!"
