Chapter 12

"P-pregnant?!" Adria sputtered, taking a few steps back.

"Hear me out, you have been getting sick in the mornings, you have strange cravings... It all fits into place." Juliane said quickly.

"B-but there's no way!" Adria exclaimed.

"Just think about it." Juliane pushed.

"No. No! I can't be pregnant! We're in the beginning of a war." Adria whisper shouted in a panic.

"I know Dria, trust me, I know. But we aren't completely sure if you are yet. Tomorrow let's go to St. Mungo's first and see what's going on." Juliane comforted her friend.

"Yeah. Yeah. Let's do that." Adria said, taking deep breaths.

"And, if you are pregnant, then I call being godmother." Juliane joked. Adria let out a laugh.

"You can totally be godmother... If I'm pregnant." Adria giggled. Little did both girls know, Charlie was listening right around the corner. He briskly walked away and as soon as he was out of the girl's hearing, he ran to Bill.

"Bill! Bill!" He called. Bill came rushing out of his room, a panicked look on his face.

"What?! What's wrong!?" He called.

"Woah! Calm down. I just need to ask for some advice." Charlie said. Bill ran a hand down his tiredly.

"I was sleeping." He said.

"Sorry, but can we talk?" Charlie asked.

"Fine. Come in." Bill said.

"I'm nervous." Adria said, the nerves clouded her eyes, and shown clear on her face.

"Don't be. Come on... Just try it." Juliane coaxed.

"What does it do?" Adria asked.

"It's the way muggle women discover if their pregnant or not. Just follow the directions on the box." Adria took a deep breath before entering the bathroom and closing the door. Juliane leaned against the wall, waiting. After a few minuets, the door opened and revealed a shocked looking Adria. "And?" Juliane asked. Adria wordlessly held out the test. Juliane looked at it. Two lines. "Oh Dria." Juliane said, hugging her sister tightly.

"-And so I think she might be... Pregnant." Charlie whispered the last part.

"Are you sure? I mean it may just be a passing thing." Bill said, though he already suspected.

"I don't think it is though." Charlie had his eyebrows knitted together at the thought of his Fiancé being pregnant.

"Is it so bad though?" Bill asked. "I mean, I would be extremely happy if Juliane was pregnant."

"But not in the middle of a war!" Charlie exclaimed. "Also, I can't be a father... I'm only twenty three!"

"And I'm twenty five. Let's face it Charlie, none of us are prepared for any of this but there's nothing we can do." Bill snapped back. Charlie was silent for a few moments before he responded.

"I know Bill. And I'm sorry, I'm just scared. I don't want my possible child growing up without parents, or having their parents leave them with the possibility of not returning." Charlie sighed.

"I won't let any of that happen Charlie, and neither will the rest of family. But Adria may not be pregnant. We don't know." Bill said, patting Charlie on the shoulder.

"You're right, as always. I'm going to go to bed. Night." Charlie shook his head before getting up. After he left, Juliane came in, looking exhausted.

"How was it?" Bill asked.

"Tiring. You?" Juliane asked. Bill ran a hand through his his hair.

"Even more tiring. Any news on the thing?" Bill asked as Juliane walked into the bathroom.

"Yeah. Me and Adria are going to St. Mungo's tomorrow. I also had her take a muggle pregnancy test." Juliane said, coming out of the bathroom and pulling her hair into a messy bun. She sat down on the bed and pulled back the covers before sitting down.

"And?" Bill prodded.

"Positive. But we both think that going to a healer would be the best." Juliane responded laying back.

"What do you think?" Bill asked. Juliane curled into his side and he rested his chin on her head and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"I think she's scared, and not at all prepared for a child. I also think that they both would make amazing parents." Juliane said thoughtfully with a yawn.

"Go to sleep Little Anne." Bill said. Juliane managed a weak hit on his arm, but closed her eyes. Only after Juliane fell asleep, did Bill allow his eyes to drift shut.

The next morning, Juliane woke up before Bill. She slipped out of bed, and went to take a shower. After, she crept into Adria and Charlie's room. Adria was laying across Charlie's chest, and Charlie was hugging Adria close. Juliane mentally 'awed' and shook Adria awake. Adria's eyes fluttered open, and she saw a smiling Juliane standing over her. "Today's the day." Adria realized as she got out of bed.

"Today's the day." Juliane agreed, leaving so Adria could get dressed. Charlie stirred but didn't wake up. Juliane walked into the kitchen and started on a small breakfast.

"You're up early." Came a voice from behind her. Juliane jumped as a pair of arms wrapped around her waist.

"We're going out early today." Juliane said, turning around and giving Bill a quick peck on the lips.

"Do you have to?" Bill pouted playfully.

"Well we do need to get back for the Triwizard tournament today." Juliane let out a soft laugh.

"Hurry will you?" Bill asked.

"I'll try." Juliane smirked.

"Jules are you-" Adria stopped short in the doorway of the kitchen to see Juliane looking into Bill's eyes and Bill staring back at her with only love in his eyes. Juliane's hand inched back on the counter, and she placed in the bowl, before putting whatever was on her finger onto Bill's cheek. Bill's eyes widened and his jaw dropped.

"You did not just do that." He said. Juliane let out a laugh.

"I so just did." She giggled.

"Alright. Come here." Bill said, taking some of the mixture and running after Juliane, who let out a squeal and ran away. Bill chased Juliane around the kitchen. Eventually, he wrapped an arm around her waist, and pulled her to him.

"No! Bill don't you dare!" Juliane threatened, but Bill didn't listen. He smeared the batter onto Juliane's face. "Bill!" Juliane exclaimed.

"Oh please, you know you love me." Bill smirked.

"I don't think I do." Juliane grinned back.

"Really? Well perhaps I can change your mind."

"I doubt that." Bill and Juliane were getting closer and closer, and now they were inches apart. Just an inch more, and the two were snogging. Adria took that as her cue to interrupt.

"Alright children, break it up, break it up." She laughed as she walked into the kitchen. Bill and Juliane pulled apart abruptly.

"Hey Dria! Ready to go?" Juliane asked.

"As I'll ever be. Now come on. I see you and Bill threw away all the batter." The couple looked down, ashamed. "It's alright. We can grab something on the way there."

"Let me just clean up." Juliane said before waving her wand over herself. The batter disappeared. "Bye Bill." Juliane gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"What?! You need to help me clean this up." Bill demanded.

"What? I can't hear you. Bye!" Juliane said loudly as she grabbed Adria and apparated the two away. They landed in an alley in the middle of London. "Are you ready?"

"I have no choice in the matter." Adria said as the two walked towards St. Mungo's. They entered and walked up to the receptionist.

"Names?" The woman asked.

"Adria Smith." Adria said.

"Alright. Have a seat and a healer will be with you shortly." The woman smiled. The two sat down in the chairs.

"If it's a boy, what'll you name him?" Juliane asked after a few moments.

"If I'm pregnant and it's a boy, then Asher." Adria responded.

"And if it's a girl?"

"Jayden."

"You thought about this before?" Juliane joked.

"Since I was a little girl." Adria whispered. Juliane turned to Adria and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

"Don't be scared of this. I know you'll make an amazing mother." She whispered. A male healer walked out.

"Adria Smith?" He called out.

"That's me." Adria said, standing up.

"Come on." He took her down a hall and out of sight. Juliane picked up a copy of 'Witch Weekly' and began flipping through it. After a while, Adria came walking back out. Her face was pale, but she was smiling.

"And?" Juliane said looking up.

"I'm..."
