Anthony's Pov

After I spoke with Kalel she slowly drifted to sleep.

"No . . . Stop please . . . JOEY!!!! . . . PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!! . . . PLEASE SOMEONE!!!" Kalel was restlessly screaming and thrashing in her sleep.

She kept screaming for someone named Joey?

Isn't joey a baby kangaroo? Why would Kalel call for a baby kangaroo?

Suddenly, my hospital door bursted open and a guy my age came busting through the doors.

The guy was almost 6 feet tall (I'm sorry I don't know how tall Joey is), his eyes were a deep exotic green, a playful smile on his lips, and his hair was styled in a quiff.

"Kitkat, what wrong?" He asked prying Kalel off the chair beside my bed.

"What happened to her?" He said whispering to me.

"I don't know. First we were talking, then she started to fall asleep a-a-and then she started thrashing and screaming for someone named Joey?" I told him stuttering.

I was afraid I was gonna lose Kalel. She was my girlfriend . . . Sorta.

"Why would Kitkat be calling for me?" So this guy was Joey? He didn't look much like a baby kangaroo.

"I don't know." He shrugged and laid Kalel down on they couch reassuring her.

He sat there whispering comforting things to Kalel.

I was getting pissed. This 'Joey' guy was touching my Kalel!

Kalel relaxed a little and wrapped her arms onto one of Joey's arm.

It could've been funny but Kalel was MY girlfriend!

Kalel's eyes fluttered open and saw Joey. She hugged him tightly.

Joey smiled and hugged her back. I coughed making sure that they knew that I was here.

They turned my way when a doctor came in holding a clipboard.

"Seems like Mr. Padilla can go now. But he must take these meds three times a day until the bottle is empty." The doctor paused for a minute.

"Oh and take him places where he was during the year he forgot. He might remember something and when he does please contact us." He smiled and left.

"Yeah! Finally I can get out! It's so boring in here!" They chuckled and I got dressed quickly.

~ The Next Day ~

I was sleeping peacefully when someone poured ice cold water onto my face.

"Whaaaaaaaaaat daaaaaa heccccck?!?!?!" I screamed at Kalel who was laughing her head off.

"Come on I have to take you somewhere and it might help with your memory loss." She replied now calm.

"Okay jeez. You didn't have to pour cold water on me to wake me up."

"I know. I just like doing that." She giggled as she skipped out of the room.

I groaned and rolled my eyes. I am not a morning person.
