PEARL

Empty halls reflect-
with her lonely kin,
A heart is frozen still,
emotions locked within.
Childhood dreams lost-
in a distant spin.
A solitary soul,
who would rather give in.

With silver locks
that cascade like snow,
And white eyebrows
pale in its glow.
She walks alone
with a spirit that's low,
An orphan's heart
with sorrow's woe.

She wandered like a ghost,
a face that barely seems-
She is lost like a sheep in a herd
which reflects many dreams.
A face among many,
a heart that can't beam-
Others' laughter...
a distant, fading gleam.

Her beauty is fragile,
Like a porcelain doll.
But her past is something
different as a whole
She lives as death,
a haunt for the soul.
A future darkened with
a heart that's lost its goal

Foreign homes, to where?
she's found her way
A stranger's face,
another loveless day.
The warmth of love,
faded far away.
A childhood lost,
in a world of gray.

Basements is where?
her loneliness usually sighs.
She found a place,
where she can cry.
Basements is where?
her pain gets dry.
She found a place,
where darkness wanders nighs.

A strand of pearls,
a fragile hold.
A delicate bond,
with threads grown cold.
A beauty prize,
with freedom sold.
A life confined,
with stories untold.

Pearl gazes up,
with heart in pain.
Longing for solace,
in shadows that remain.
The world above,
where freedom gains.
Mocks her chains,
with a joyful refrain.

The white light flickers,
in the darkness deep.
A beacon of hope,
in her troubled sleep.
A symbol of peace,
that she's yet to keep.
Or it's just sparkling eyes
That distract
the little sheep?

On the other hand,
shadows waltzed...
with melancholic mirage,
Even in blackness,
their show doesn't erase.
It's just a reflection,
of her heart's mystic maze
Or a motive to break free
and leave her
fears in this cage?

Well, it's her silent friend
a mouse so dear.
A comforting presence,
always near.
Her heart beats fast,
with love so clear.
With warmth that spreads,
and wipes away fear...

...A pearl necklace
forgotten and worn
Lay on a lower shelf
where shadows are born
Dust gathered
a symbol of her scorn
Overlooked and
undervalued forlorn

Yet in darkness
the pearl shone bright
A beacon of hope
in the darkest night
Sentimental worth
that gave her might
Pearl's own worth
a precious sight

Parallel lives
the necklace and the girl
Both held hidden value
in a secret whirl
When visitors came
with a judging twirl
The facade of kindness
a gentle mask unfurled

Wolves in sheep's clothing
Is how they pose
The pearl necklace's purity
Is what hide their woes
Pearl's innocence
a disguise to disclose
A show of love
that hid their bitter blows

But when she emerged
to face the crowd
She'd catch a whisper
a voice allowed
A gentle tone
that seemed like cloud
Maybe a boy's voice
she'd imagine loud

Through the walls,
Whisper emerge
a clear thought
The boy's voice
Is what the wall
has brought
Through the walls
it translated into
her blindspot
Suddenly she could hear
the boy; as the mouse
spoke a brilliant plot

One day she fled
dark and empty space
The open front door
Was a chance of solace
Outside the world
felt a quieter place
She ran into the jungle
and found a hiding pace

With trees that towered
and shadows dark
Their branches creaked
her body left its mark
She felt lost as
Silence left its spark
The mouse's voice
faded in the silent bark

In the jungle's heart,
Pearl's struggle is real,
Her path is unwinding,
with every step she feels,
Fear echoes near,
with every sound she
hears and reveals,
A sense of loneliness,
that brings her to concealed.

The mouse is caught,
in a fatal trap,
Its freedom is lost,
with a desperate clap,
Pearl feels a similar
sense of painful rap,
A longing for freedom,
in a life that's hard to map.

The darkness gathered
like a silent tree??
She stumbled forward
like lost and free??
The forest's shadows
wrapped her like a plea??
And then everything
went black to see...
