Now I love the head canon, where Maria is shy and hates loud noises because of her abusive relationship with James Reynolds.

But....

Can I have a Maria where, instead of being scared and shy, she is the complete opposite. Not like she becomes an abuser but she just gets used to everything James does to her

People in abusive relationships could be shy but let's explore when the person gets stronger and tougher because of that relationship.

Like Maria gets used to the screaming and yelling and hitting.
