This girl, first of all, is an absolute queen. I love her, along with most of the cast to Mean Girls. (I got to see her perform, it was amazing)

In Mean Girls, Janis hates the popular group and gets ditched by Cady after she joins the popular group. Let's not forget her and Regina were friends in middle school.

My conclusion:

Janis is just a sequel to how Veronica felt after leaving the popular clique. Except in a different time. And place. And with different people.
