Ballet Boy [Boyf Riends!Middle School][Ballerina!Michael]

Michael Mell wasn't your average middle school kid. He didn't have many friends, only one to be precise, who's name was Jeremy Heere. Jeremy was a cute kid, smart, and is probably the most relatable person Michael had ever encountered.

Michael was recently signed up for ballet classes, on high demands of his mom to keep him in good shape. He thought they were stupid, and idiotic among many levels, because they were too girly.

He figured he would go anyways, and actually started to enjoy dancing.

He didn't tell Jeremy that he was taking dance classes though, because he thought the boy would abandon him for cooler people.

It slipped in a conversation once, during a talk with a seventh-grader known as Rich Goranski. Rich started to torment the poor boy, threatening to release the info around the school unless Michael gave him his lunch money, which he did almost as instantly as when he asked.

Jeremy would always come down to the lunchroom a bit later, after the whole fiasco.

"Michael! No lunch money again? What happened this time?" Jeremy spoke, asking many questions at once.

"I guess I just forgot it again.. whoops.." Michael laughed nervously, rubbing his arm.

This concerned Jeremy, "Michael.. is somebody stealing it? We can report them to the principal if you-"

"No! No.. I'm just.. I keep forgetting it at home.."

"Then I'm giving you half of my lunch." Jeremy smiled, placing about half of everything down on a napkin for Michael.

"Wow.. Jer.. you really don't have to do that.. I-I promise." Michael tried to push away the food, before Jeremy gave him an intense stare.

"You're eating that food Michael."

"But Jer-!"

"No buts mister! Now eat your food." Jeremy crossed his arms, then smiling and laughing, as he couldn't keep a straight face for long.

Michael chuckled too, Jeremy leaning on Michael as they laughed for no reason whatsoever.

They got weird looks, but they didn't care.
They only needed each other, player one and two.

----------

It was a regular Tuesday, a Tuesday that didn't really matter, until something terrible happened.

That Tuesday when Michael's secret got out.

Michael was devastated, as anyone he passed would call him a name, or even worse, throw him a punch.

At Lunch, he stayed in the bathroom, the spare change he had jingling in his pocket. He took that spare change and threw it against the wall, his face in a frown, almost to the point where he was about to burst into tears.

He slid down the wall, and curled up into a ball as he let only a few tears slip. His glasses were getting all fogged up, and he felt as if he was going to have a breakdown.

His heavy breathing increased as the door swung open, someone stepping inside.

"Michael?" Jeremy called, making the boys breath hitch.

"I-I'm here.." Michael called out softly, rubbing his eyes. It'd be better to get this friend-breakup over with and done.

It was silent for a moment, before Jeremy sat right next to Michael, and hugged him, hugged him tightly.

"I'm so sorry.. you don't deserve this.. and I know you're gonna think that I hate you, but I'm still here for you, and I always will be." Jeremy spoke, his voice cracking. At that point, Michael was in tears, and was hugging his best friend back.

The two were truly inseparable.

----------

Michael was sweating after his solo performance, which he had gotten a perfect score on despise being the only male dancer in the ballet program.

As soon as prizes were given out, he had won second in the ballet section of the mini competition. He was ecstatic, because all his hard work had paid off. His parents "weren't able to come" to his recital, which didn't bother him too much, but what he hadn't known was that Jeremy was there, watching the whole thing.

Michael stepped out of the stage door, smiling as he looked around for nothing in particular. He was surprised that he danced in front of all of these people. He heard shouting from in the crowd, someone was shouting his name. That was when he saw Jeremy, and ran up to him, pushing through the crowd.

"Jeremy!"

"Michael!"

The two shouted, eloping into a hug. They stood there for a while, before Jeremy pulled away, and presented the huge bouquet of flowers for his (boy)friend.

Michael was in awe, and almost started crying as he hugged the bouquet. Jeremy giggled, and out of no where, kissed Michael's cheek.

Both of them became flustered, laughing nervously before shrugging it off, and stepping out of the arts center hand in hand.

And every time after that, almost the exact same happened.
