Six Queens Modern Headcanons
My headcanons of what the Queens would be up to if they were around today, very inspired by their verses in 'Six'.
- Catherine Of Aragon is living the Sister Act fantasy. After moving into the nunnery, she took charge of the choir and propelled them to stardom with their amazing new sound. They appeared on the radio and on TV, and the charts when they released their first album, doing pop arrangements of traditional hymns and religious songs. They became so popular, Catherine and her friends starred in a Sister Act revival.
- Anne Boleyn found a taste for writing music when she altered Greensleeves, so decided to teach herself to compose music, which she did with success. When she started publishing her work on Youtube, it caught the eye of William Shakespeare, an accomplished playwright who was interested in writing a musical with Anne. They opened on the West End to rave reviews, even casting a certain cousin of Anne's in the starring role.
- Jane Seymour and her family band became very popular throughout the UK, particularly England, as the royal family had never formed a band before. With Jane on vocals, Edward on guitar and her filling the other roles, The Royalling Stones took the country by storm, selling out stadiums and dominating the charts, leading to a friendly rivalry with Catherine of Aragon and her band, eventually leading to a collaboration between them.
- Anne Of Cleves was living it up in her hometown, throwing huge parties every night, always ending in a karaoke session. Anna was always hogging the microphone, so decided to start signing herself at the parties. She and her brilliant voice, and toured around Germany, eventually touring Prussia when they became popular enough, and even entering the UK charts with their cool, original sound.
- Katherine Howard became a singer on Youtube, sharing her fantastic voice with the world, particularly pop covers, and gained quite a following. She began putting on increasingly big concerts, which sold out to adoring crowds every time. Her concerts drew the attention of her cousin Anne, who offered her a leading role in her new musical, propelling Katherine to a new level of fame and success, which she intended to keep up.
- Catherine Parr began writing books and gaining success with her critically acclaimed work. She always enjoyed singing and was good at it, but never thought of it as a career. However, she began listening to music written and/or performed by five amazing women. Catherine contacted them all, and they got together to make an album telling their stories, which topped the charts for weeks and launched Six to global stardom.
Am hoping to stop being apathetic towards writing soon, but it might not happen for a while. Hope this is welcome though.
