Chapter 26- NOT THEM! Part 2
~Third person's POV~
Now that dinner was over, everyone was heading back to their respectful rooms. The girls of course were definitely not pleased with the exchange they had with Heavens.
"They were so bratty," said Shay while she allowed her composure to fall.
"You said it! I couldn't stand their overconfidence," said Eclipse while she frowned.
"I would like to say that we shouldn't jump to conclusions but you two are right," said Francis as he ran a hand through his hair.
"W-W-Why do they have to b-be so rude with people t-they just met?" Shane wondered.
"There are people like that Shae-Shae, it's unavoidable," said Taiyou as he placed his hands over his neck.
"From the tone of your voices you all got to know these boys ahead of time," said Ren.
"I'd like to say we didn't, but you hit the bulls-eye," said Moonlight as she shivered.
"Yeah, I didn't like their attitude that much. From their first impression, they look like the type of people you need to avoid," said Syo while closing his eyes for a moment, his eyebrows slanting downwards as he went into deep thought. Everyone nodded to Syo's statement.
"They did seem like intimidating people," said Otoya as he sweat dropped.
"I'd like to say that we don't have to deal with them but I have a bad feeling we will," said Musical as she frowned.
"Most likely if you say you know them from whatever way you watched us from your world," said Tokiya.
"Maybe we can make them cookies as a peace offering of sorts," said Natsuki. Syo seemed like he was about to say something but stopped. "You know what? I'm not going to stop you this time," the short blonde said while shaking his head and laughing.
"That's a wonderful idea Na-chan," said Musical while laughing.
"Yay! Then I'll bake them soon," Natsuki said.
"Hello!!!! Ecliiiipse-chan!!!" A voice called out from afar.
The group turned around, and Eclipse stepped out to see Ringo Tsukimiya running until he caught up.
"The headmaster has decided that you will be added into the academy," he said once he gained his breath.
"R-Really?!" Eclipse said excitedly.
"Yuuup~! Though we need to test you some way, but that'll be later, with your band," Ringo said while looking at the other girls.
"E-Eh?!" The girls said.
"That's right! The headmaster will want to see all the bands perform and then he'll decide which bands should be kept together and which should break apart," Ringo said.
"Oh dear," said everyone besides Ringo.
"But don't worry! I believe as long as you work hard and do your best, then you can do it!" Ringo said, trying to be optimistic. "But anyways, I've come to tell you who you're rooming with."
Everyone listened in quietly and Ringo cleared his throat. "Eclipse-chan, for this moment you will be rooming with Musical-chan, Masato-kun and Ren-kun!"
Eclipse smiled and turned over to see Musical glomping her, saying, "Yay!!" Eclipse laughed and hugged Musical back while everyone smiled. Of course, Francis felt worried and concerned, and looked over to Ren who looked back and smirked at the blonde. Francis gritted his teeth slightly, but calmed down, thinking that Eclipse wouldn't be alone with Ren, and that she loves him.
"Now, everyone should head to their rooms and sleep, it's been a long day," said Ringo. He turned around and said, "I wish you all a wonderful night~!"
"Bye bye Tsukimiya-sensei!!" Everyone said as the pink haired boy departed.
"W-Well, I guess we should g-g-get going to our rooms t-then," said Shane. He failed to stifle a yawn, which seemed to pass through the group.
"Yeah, I'm really tiiired," Musical said as she stretched her back and thus stretched the last word.
"Well, you should probably sleep Musical, after all, everyone needs sleep," Moonlight said and yawned a bit as well.
"Let's go then and sleep. But wait, I wanted to have a get together tonight," said Shay as she remembered what she wanted to do yesterday.
"It's okay Shay, we can have that tomorrow in Musical Land now that we know about it," said Tokiya.
"Yeah, we can go there now that we know about it," said Otoya, smiling as he started to drift off in his thoughts.
"Otoyan, what are you thinking about?" Ren asked while smirking. Otoya blushed and said, "N-Nothing much, I'm just thinking of what we can do in Musical Land."
"Like being with Moon-chan I suppose?" Ren said and Otoya was scarlet. Everyone laughed and Moonlight simply walked up to the boy and giggled at his actions and hugged him. This made the red head's cheeks match his hair and eyes.
"In any case, let's be rest assured that we have found a way through the rule," said Syo. Everyone nodded, and left to go to their rooms.
~~~~
"So our room is 57?" Eclipse asked as she followed her roommates.
"Yup! We've got a pretty big room so you'll like it," Musical said with a smile. "And we can share beds if you'd like," she added.
"I'd offer my bed but I believe Druitt would be enfuriated thinking that you were sharing a bed with me," said Ren while shrugging.
"It's fine Ren, I'll take it that you're being genuine, but I'll take Musical's offer like you said," Eclipse said.
"I'm glad you didn't take it the wrong way, I congratulate you Eclipse-chan," said Ren with a smile.
"Don't start with your teasing and games Jinguji," Masato muttered and went to open the door.
"Don't worry, they're not present now," said Ren while snickering. Masato simply rolled his eyes while the other two girls laughed. As they looked in the room, they noticed a baggage that had a note on top of it. Eclipse got closer and looked at the note, her eyes darting back and forth. She smiled and looked at the others saying, "This is my stuff, Akiyume brought it here for me."
"That's great Eclipse!" Musical said. She peered behind Eclipse and then she went and laid on the bed, her face covered by the pillow in which she sighed softly into. Eclipse went to sit on the other side of the bed and opened the bag to look through it.
"Now what do you suppose we should do, ladies and Hijirikawa?" Ren asked. He went to sit by his own bed, as did Masato. Musical removed the pillow from her face and sat up, her back propped up against the headset and Eclipse straightened herself up, her pajamas in her hands.
"I'm not sure, I feel like doodling or something," said Eclipse, the brunette next to her nodding. "Same, I want to do something but feel tired at the same time. I'm so conflicted," said Musical, a whining tone evident in her last few words. Ren laughed and shook his head. Masato simply smiled and said, "You can't do two things at once Musical-san."
"But I want to," she said with a pout.
"Let's just doodle a bit before we go to sleep," Eclipse suggested. She also felt tired after seeing Heavens, but wanted to draw out her current emotions.
"That sounds good. After all, we did have a pretty eventful day," said Musical. Her face darkened at the thought of Heavens.
"I take it that you're both tired from the boys we met at dinner," said Masato. He looked concerned.
"Yeah, you can say we don't like them," Eclipse said while laughing nervously.
"Not liking them is an understatement," Musical said with a huff. "They're so conceited, it just ticks me off! I'm sorry if I act rude, but I really can't stand them."
"Me too, they're just so, evil," Eclipse said and emphasized the last word.
"Let's hope we just don't see them again so you don't have to worry about them. They make me concerned, that's for sure," said Masato.
"It's probably likely that we'll see them again, I just feel it," said Musical. She pouted and snuggled her pillow. Eclipse noted Musical's crestfallen state and saw Masato grow worried. She smiled mischievously and said, "Masato, Musical looks like she needs a hug~!"
Masato of course blushed and Ren smirked, saying, "Eclipse-chan is right, why don't you go comfort Musi-chan?"
Musical was beet red and said, "I-It's okay, don't force Masa-"
At that point, Masato had gotten up and went to hug the green eyed girl and said, "I-It's fine, it shouldn't be too hard to do something as small as a hug." Despite his words, the bluenette was growing scarlet. Musical tried her best not to squeal and instead snuggled into Masato's warm embrace. Eclipse squealed and Ren simply smiled genuinely for once.
"Looks like Masa has finally come into terms with his feelings and is opening up more," Ren said, his smile turning into a smirk.
"I know right? We just need them to kiss now," said Eclipse while squealing more. Ren chuckled and said, "I like the way you think Eclipse, I wonder how we can get them to do so."
"W-We're human you know! T-That's asking for too much right n-now," Masato stuttered and tried to not meet Ren and Eclipse's teasing gazes. Musical simply remained a bashful mess.
~~~~
"Moon-chan, you look pretty tired," Natsuki stated while looking down at the brunette. Her face seemed dark as her mind was troubled with thoughts of the meeting with Heavens.
"Are you alright Moonlight?" Syo asked with concern. They were on their way to their room.
"Yeah, I'm just tired I guess," Moonlight said and rubbed her eyes. That's when Syo stopped in front of Moonlight and leaned down.
"Here, jump on, I'll give you a piggyback ride," Syo said. Moonlight nodded and slowly got on Syo's back. "Now just hold on tight alright?"
Moonlight nodded and thanked the blonde, her arms hugging the boy while the boy held onto Moonlight by her legs and stood up. Moonlight laid her head on Syo and relaxed under his soothing scent.
Natsuki smiled and said, "You two are so cute!" The pair blushed and Syo held back what he wanted to say and huffed. Moonlight smiled and hugged the boy tighter, and then looked to Natsuki saying, "Thanks Natsuki-kun."
Natsuki beamed at the girl and said, "Of course Moon-chan!"
They finally arrived to their room and opened the door. Syo entered the room with Moonlight and leaned down to let Moonlight get off of him. Moonlight reluctantly got down, wishing that the moment would have lasted longer.
Her mind had gotten off the sadistic boys before Syo said, "Those boys were really rude weren't they?"
"You don't even know half of it Syo," Moonlight said. She sighed deeply. "I don't think you'd like to know."
"Really Moon-chan? Were we not friends with them?" Natsuki asked innocently. Moonlight shook her head, saying, "No Natsuki, you can say that they're your rivals as the group Heavens. But most of them are so sadistic." As she said this, Moonlight felt a shiver run down her spine. Syo noticed how uncomfortable Moonlight became. "We don't have to talk about this if you don't want to Moonlight. I mean-" Syo suddenly stopped mid sentence as he remembered. "Oh yeah! That yellow haired boy, I remember him now! He's Hyuga-sensei's younger brother."
"Yeah, he is," Moonlight said, smiling at Syo's newfound information. She shook her head, already knowing what he was probably thinking. Her mind then flashed back to when Syo met with Yamato to practice their song and she frowned.
"Hey Moon-chan, what's wrong?"
Her mind snapped back to reality (lol) and she looked at the curious and concerned eyes fixated on her.
"Were you thinking about some of the things you saw the guys do?" Syo guessed carefully.
"Yeah," she said and frowned. She sat by her bed and she felt an arm wrap around her. "Don't worry about them Moonlight, I won't let anything happen to you. They'll have to go through me first if they even try making you sad."
Moonlight's heart skipped a beat and she looked up at the blonde. She noticed the intense gaze he fixed on her and felt slightly bashful as she saw all sorts of passionate and strong emotions.
"Maybe I should get started on baking the cookies for them," Natsuki said, his fingers rubbing his chin.
"Maybe not," Syo responded, his face looking pale. Moonlight sweat dropped and said, "You should do that tomorrow maybe Natsuki. It's pretty late now."
"You're right Moon-chan, maybe I can invite you all to make them since you all looked sad," Natsuki said while smiling.
"Sure!"
~~~~
"Shay, are you alright?" Tokiya asked the black haired girl who seemed to be unusually quiet. Her eyes widened as her thoughts scattered away. She jumped slightly. "Y-Yeah I'm alright, what makes you think otherwise?" She turned her head to face Tokiya who was already looking down at her.
"She's probably displeased with the presence of those boys we met earlier," said Francis, already knowing.
"I wouldn't blame her, I don't think I like those guys," Otoya said as he remembered the bespectacled boy try to make a move on Moonlight.
"You shouldn't really, they're conceited, most of them at least," said Taiyou and continued to walk. "While we should keep an eye on them, them being here shouldn't ruin our days," he added with an optimistic smile.
"T-Taiyou's right, t-t-they shouldn't affect us and r-ruin our trip," said Shane.
"Yup! How about we listen to some music?" Shay suggested, already taking her phone out. An idea popped into her hand and she pointed to them all, saying, "I CHALLENGE YOU ALL TO A SINGING BATTLE!!"
The boys paused for a moment, processing her words. Then they resumed their natural reactions.
"S-Sure Shay," Shane said while smiling.
"Sounds like fun, but what will we sing?" Taiyou asked while placing his right arm on his left shoulder and rolling his left arm, ready for the challenge.
"HAMILTON SONGS!!" Shay shouted with a wink.
"Why did I expect you to say that?" Francis questioned while shaking his head, the smile never leaving his face.
Tokiya analyzed Shay and concluded that she wanted to take her mind off of the situation for now. Tokina sighed to himself as he thought about the Otori boy who was looking at Shay and frowned to himself. He was brought out of his thoughts when he heard Shay say, "Tokiya, are you okay?"
Tokiya looked down into her brown eyes and said, "Yeah, I'm fine. Why don't we start this game of yours?"
Shay nodded vigorously and said, "Alright!!! Because I am not throwing away my shot~!"
~~~~
"Hey Shion, what did you think of the Saotome Academy kids?" The porcupine-haired (sorry not sorry XD) boy asked the white haired boy. Shion hugged his arms and said, "I like our students better."
"Are you sure about that? You looked like you were taking a liking to Shay-chan," Van cooed into the boy's ear. Shion flinched and blurted out, "She only looked nice! But I don't plan on switching schools and betraying Heavens like that!" His face grew noticeably red.
"Calm down Shi-kun, I wasn't suggesting that," said Van while waving his arms. He grinned and said, "I think I'm falling for that cute brunette that was next to that long haired bimbo."
Shion looked at Van curiously. "I'm talking about that Eclipse girl, even though it looks like that Frenchie looking guy seems to guard her. But that won't be for long~!" Van then laughed out in his weird laugh and Shion said, "Careful Van, I wouldn't try dating someone from our rival school."
"That doesn't matter," said Van. "You have to live life to the fullest!"
"Will you two be quiet?" Yamato growled from his bed. "I'm trying to get back to my dream of defeating my older brother here."
"Geesh Ya-chan, you don't have to be so rude. Who did you like if any?" Van asked and peered over the boy's bed. Yamato rolled over and said, "No one," while trying to hide his face. Little did he know, a blush was forming on his cheeks.
"Yeah right, I saw you," said Van with a smirk. "You were looking at the girl with rosy eyes."
"I liked her eyes, so what's it to ya?" Yamato spat while grumbling to himself. "Just go to bed!"
"Alright then," said Van as he jumped into his bed.
~~~~
"Hey brother, today was a really nice day right?" Eiji asked his older brother who was sitting by the desk typing something on his computer.
"I guess you could say that," the boy muttered, his eyes glued to the screen. Eiji looked at his older brother and contemplated the words he was about to say.
"What did you think of the people we met at dinner?" Eiji asked Eiichi and blushed slightly, remembering the girl with the raven black hair and warm brown eyes.
"They are just competition," said Eiichi immediately, but stopped typing. "Is that all?" Eiji questioned.
"What else is there to it? In the future, they're going to be our rivals as bands from a different company unless they join father's company," responded Eiichi. He readjusted his glasses and turned to look at his younger brother. "Don't tell me your mindset isn't like mine."
"No brother, but, I think that they looked like good people. Actually, they seemed like nice people with a lot of potential and talent," said Eiji. Eiichi inspected his brother and thought for a moment.
"You've taken a liking to one of the girls it seems," he said at last with a sigh. "W-What?!" Eiji responded, surprised.
"I can tell, I can see it in your eyes," said Eiichi. He looked away and looked down at his lap. "Though I don't blame you. I find one of the girls to be interesting. Specifically the girl with the delicate pink eyes." He smirked. "You better not have fallen for her," the bespectacled boy responded.
"Not at all brother," Eiji answered quickly. "Actually, I really like the girl with the coal black hair and warm chocolate eyes. She looks like a really sweet girl and I'd like to get to know her..." Eiji trailed on and fidgeted with his fingers as a pink blush coated his face.
"How cute, you have a crush," teased Eiichi. Eiji pouted and said, "You do too."
"Yeah but you're being bashful," answered Eiichi. He looked at the time and said, "We should head off to sleep Eiji, we have a long day tomorrow."
Eiji nodded and went to his bed.
"Goodnight big brother."
"Goodnight Eiji."
"Kira, what did you think of today?" Nagi asked his quiet roommate. The onyx haired boy shrugged and waited for the shorter boy's response. The salmon pink haired boy pouted and said, "Well I don't know about you, but I thought that the people we met weren't so boring after all."
Kira continued to stare at the boy, most likely wanting him to expand on his statement.
"Well you know, they are quite interesting. Some were in a good way and others in a bad way," explained Nagi. "What do you think Kira?"
Kira pondered for a moment. "I agree. Though I'm assuming you were talking more so about the girls, and I find them all to be curious people. It feels like they already knew about us. I wonder if we will see them again, but it's possible we will," he said at last. Nagi's eyes widened and he grasped the boy's shoulders, well, tried to, due to their height difference.
"Kira, you're right! The girls did look interesting. They were definitely different since their reaction to us was something I hadn't seen in a while." Nagi's face then contorted into a devious expression as he added, "Though I really want to speak with one in particular. Her reactions were amusing and I want to see more of her expressions. Maybe I can try to make her fall for me."
Kira stared at Nagi who seemed to be thinking something. "Did you develop a crush for this girl?"
Nagi was taken aback. He coughed while he tried to deny it. "Of course not, me have a crush? It's too early to assume such a thing." Nagi looked at Kira curiously and said, "Are you sure you're not the one with a crush? You've been talking more than usual..."
Kira thought for a moment and shrugged. "You don't want to tell me, I see," responded Nagi with a frown.
Kira looked at the time on his phone and noticed that it was already late. He gave Nagi a look while he pointed to the time on his phone.
"I don't want to go to bed," whined Nagi. Kira and Nagi withheld a staring contest. Nagi pouted and tried to make Kira give in but failed and frowned. "Fine..."
Shining Saotome paced around the empty corridor with slight impatience. He already inspected the hallways of every place he knew his students were in and currently waited for a certain rival of his.
His mind mulled over the school year and how things have changed. He felt confident that after all his years of being the director of his Academy, the students this year had a strong potential and that he could be a witness to a new generation. He was contemplating something before he shook his head to himself. He grinned devilishly when an idea popped into his mind.
His thoughts disappeared and his ears perked up once he heard a couple of footsteps coming in his direction. He looked up to meet with the eyes of his rival, his glasses glinting with the moonlight that peered through the window.
"Are the plans for tomorrow ready?" Raging Ootori asked. He took a cigar from his pocket and went to the window. Saotome walked over to Ootori, but maintained his distance. The man lit his cigar and puffed a grey wisp of smoke outside.
"Indeed, the activities are prepared," Saotome answered with a smirk.
"I hope you're ready to be wowed and defeated by my students," Raging Ootori challenged, his voice dripping with confidence.
"I was about to say the same thing, Mr. Ootori," Saotome answered back, his eyes filled with determination.
"Just remember to not cry so much once we do this exchange of sorts, according to our agreement," Raging answered while tapping the tip of his cigar to let the ashes fall onto the ash tray near him.
"As long as you keep your end of the bargain, we should all be fine," Saotome answered, his smile faltering somewhat. His face grew serious.
"We shouldn't stay up too long, it would be bad for our health," said Ootori once he finished his cigar and through it in the trash.
"But of course Mr. Ootori, let's rest up," said Saotome. He bowed down and said, "I wish you a fine night and sweet dreams."
Ootori gritted his teeth, but smiled crookedly all the same. "As do I, Shining. Be prepared."
With a waving hand, Ootori excused himself and left his rival, who left to go to his own room.
I'm really pumping up the suspense here XD It's becoming a habit to make these dramatic chapter cliffhanger ends X"D I wonder what they have planned *feels the sweatdrop from le readers* (I probably sound like Lau from Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler XD) I'm curious with what you guys think the agreement is, it shouldn't be too bad really I think, unless I change my mind XD Till the next chapter my fellow readers~!
