Chapter 13-Plays shall be Played!!Deadline is arriving~~
~Third Person's POV~
Each group has practiced a lot and soon the two weeks passed by. With each day, and each second that passed, the boys were getting closer to understanding the feelings that they didn't know were there (;3 XD).
It was the night before the groups would soon present their plays and the girls were in their room.
"Oh my gosh, I can't believe we're actually going to be performing tomorrow," said Musical while hugging the Piyo-chan plushie she got from Natsuki.
"Same, I don't know what to feel," muttered Shay as she plopped onto her bed, her face being covered by her pillow.
"Well, I hope you guys all do well!," says Moonlight with a tender smile.
"Yup, we've got this!!," shouted Shay while punching the air, before she let herself go and fell into the cushions of her bed once more.
"Exactly!!," said Musical while looking at the Piyo-chan plushie, and then she said, "So how have you guys been in your groups?"
The other two girls looked towards the brunette. Shay decided to speak up, "Pretty good I'd say on my part. But have you guys noticed some of them acting, I don't know, weirdly?"
Moonlight whispered, "Could they possibly have grown feelings for us?," and she did so in an excited manner.
Musical shook her head, saying "I'm not sure myself, since they could always have different feelings than our own. I'm just doubtful like that, but I think you guys are having the guys fall for you," and smiled at the brunette and raven-haired girl with a twinkle in her eyes.
"How can you say that? Have you seen Natsuki just be all affectionate with you?," said Moonlight in a loud tone, and added "He definitely likes you~"
"I agree, plus Masato also sneaks glances at you, and blushes a good amount," Shay said while snickering.
"I don't know, he could be just lost in thought, I know I can get lost in thought guys, and as for Natsuki, he's just like that, I wouldn't be able to say with 100% (*coughs 1000% coughs coughs*) accuracy that he likes me that way," said Musical while looking down with a blush.
"We know they have to have some feelings, Musical-chan, trust us," said Shay and Moonlight while giggling.
"Anyways, it's not like you two don't have guys falling for you~," replied Musical, and looked at Shay while saying, "Tokiya's been acting pretty strange and out of character, especially when around you Shay-chan~"
"Yeah, he hasn't been acting normal Shay-chan, have you guys done anything~," coos Moonlight while going over to where Shay was on her bed, followed by Musical.
Shay blushes, and says, "W-We didn't do anything gosh darn it, don't be getting any wrong ideas," and closes her eyes while trying to block out any ideas that start getting into her head. "He's probably just unable to comprehend me, and we've been partners with this play for two weeks, so who knows?"
"Our point exactly," said the two brunettes.
"He might be crushing on you~~~," said Moonlight in a sing song voice.
"Well, Syo and Otoya seem to be crushing on you, that's for certain," spoke Shay back, and smirked at the blush creeping on Moonlight's face.
" I-I g-guess, but like Musical-chan said, you can't always be too sure. Plus we don't know if Syo and Otoya are aware of their feelings," stuttered Moonlight. The other girls just smiled mischievously and giggled.
"But what would we do then?," wondered Moonlight.
"Oh yeah, you two have the possibility of having two boys who have fallen for you," said Shay, who giggled, saying "I got lucky I don't have to choose~"
"Wahh, but how can we? It would be really hard, since I bet Moonlight is in agreement with me when I say that I don't know who I love more," panicked Musical, while squeezing her Piyo-chan plushie in her arms. Moonlight also started pondering the idea, and let out a shout of frustration, saying "Ugghhh, why do we have to choose??!!! I'm with Musical, I don't know what to do, they're both too sweet, and I just can't bear seeing one sad as I choose another."
"Well, in any case, we should sleep now and be ready for tomorrow. And I don't think we should worry about that now. Plus why should we? If you think about it, there's still the rule in the academy about love being forbidden," said Musical while looking down sadly. The rest of the girls also looked down, remembering the rule.
"Gosh darn it, well, who knows what can happen, right?," said Shay, and Moonlight said, "Yeah, maybe we could possibly change that."
Musical looked at the girls who had an optimistic look in their eyes, and said, "Yeah, maybe we can change it," and soon also had a determined look in her own green orbs. "But we should sleep now, I know I'm about to pass out."
"Same," breathed Shay, and started trying to sleep. "Nighty night"
"Goodnight guys," muttered Moonlight while going to her bed and wrapped herself in her bundle of blankets and closed her eyes.
"Yeah, goodnight Moon-chan, goodnight Shay-chan," whispered Musical as she proceeded to go to her own bed, and covered herself with her blankets, allowing her face to just pop out of the warm layers.
~Tokiya and Otoya's room~
~Tokiya's POV~
"Uwaahhh, tomorrow we're going to perform our plays!," exasperated Otoya, revealing his emotions for all to see. I sighed, and muttered, "Yeah, it seems so." I was at my desk as usual writing in my journal some random thoughts only known to myself. I heard some shifting movements behind, and soon enough Otoya asked me, "Oi Tokiya, aren't you at least a tad bit nervous??" I turn around and saw Otoya give me a genuinely curious look. I sighed and looked to the side, and said "What's there to worry about? I know my play with Shay-chan has been practiced down to the core where it should certainly be perfect. I'm sure yours is too."
I look over to see Otoya blush and avert his gaze in a pensive way, and says, "Well, I've got every single word memorized and every single action where it is like second nature, but I'm worried that I might mess up."
I shake my head, my lips quivering in one moment and the next relaxed, I said, "Don't worry about it. If you don't think about it, it is less likely that you'll fail in portraying your role in the play."
Otoya seemed to hesitate, but finally said, "Well, I know I shouldn't think about that, but I also worry about messing up in front of Moon-chan." As soon as he said that, a small blush slowly but surely started creeping up to his cheeks. I smiled an all knowing look, thinking about my own emotions towards a certain raven-haired girl. I realized that our relationship blossomed quite quickly in the span of these two weeks as I got to know her more, and was more exposed to her interesting nature. I guess you could say that I've developed some feelings for this potato-obsessed girl. I frown as the thought of the major rule in the school regarding love popped up into my mind and try to clear my thoughts.
"It'll be fine Otoya, you have no need to worry. Moonlight-chan won't think any less of you."
Those words must have done a good work on his overall mood since Otoya almost quite literally jumped up and said, "Yeah! Moon-chan isn't that kind of person! But still, I'll definitely do my very best!!" If that wasn't enough, he jumped off his bed and punched the air, and fell afterwards on the floor. Ouch, I thought, and asked him if he was alright. He just laughed it off, and gave me a thumbs up. That Otoya.
~Syo and Natsuki's room~
~Syo's POV~
"Can you stop with the pictures," I grumble out towards Natsuki. He forced me to wear this stupid frog hat and is currently snapping shots from every angle like some paparazzi guy. I slap my face, my jaw clenching, and hold in the urge to yell at him.
"Aww Syo-chan, you look so cute pouting and being angry like that," chirped the insane blonde.
"How about we go to sleep, since it's night time, y'know?" I say while gritting my teeth.
"Oh! It's 10 pm Syo-chan, I think I'm done with my pictures. Thank you very much~!"
The darn blonde finally put away his camera and skipped right into the bathroom where he'd most likely change into his Piyo-chan pajamas. I honestly don't know how any guy other than him can be so obsessed with a silly little animal. The guy's nuts, seriously.
I sigh heavily, and think about tomorrow. Tomorrow. That's when an image of Moonlight in her outfit came into my conscious, and of course, I felt my cheeks just sting my whole face. Why can't I stop thinking about her?! My heart just clenches, and I seem to long for her, and yet, I'm not sure how she feels, or what she thinks of me. I think I've really fallen, and hard. She never fails to prance into my thoughts somehow, even with the smallest detail. I'm really stupid though, since that's one of the great rules that can't be flipping broken in this school, which just ticks me off. Like, why is it even forbidden? I'd say that if anything, having relationships helps people be inspired to write songs. Could it be that that's the goal? To have us long for one another, and have us just sing a thousand nothings out for others to relate to, and just pour in different emotions into our phrases?
I think I was too lost in my own world thinking almost philosophically, because I'm finally brought back to reality with Natsuki staring right into my eyes saying "SYOOO-CHAN!! ARE YOU THERE??!!"
I fall back in surprise and accidentally hit my head against the wall and knock a random Piyo-chan plush. I yelp at the sudden pain in my head, I look to see Natsuki catching the plush.
"Hey, what gives Natsuki???!!!!" I growl while massaging my head.
"Syo-chan, I just wanted to know if you were thinking about tomorrow??"
"Yeah, I was."
"Well, I want to wish your group the best of luck," said Natsuki, and smiled.
I returned a slight smile, and said, "Yeah, you too." I look over his shoulder and notice another pair of pajamas set out on his chair. The said pajamas were specifically Piyo-chan printed. And they were identical to his. I sweat drop, and asked Natsuki, "Why do you have another pair of pajamas out?"
"Oh, I just wanted to give them to Mus-chan so we could be twinning with pajamas!," the naive blonde responded without a single hint of hesitation. I wonder if he has any feelings for Musical, I mused to myself, and concluded that it was possible, since I hadn't seen him be so obsessed with a girl before, at least not to this extent.
~Masato and Ren's room~
~Masato's POV~
I was seated down at my low table while Jinguuji was behind me launching his darts on his bed. I finished writing a sheet of paper that read "Luck" and "Song of Loving Melody."
"Hey, Hijirikawa," Jinguuji called out to me. I only paused my actions, and looked around.
"How do you feel about tomorrow?," he continued, twirling a dart in his fingers. I decided that I would respond, and said "Fine, how about you, Jinguuji?"
"I feel quite well, with Little Lamb and her wonderful friend Tomo-chan," he said while smiling. His smile became more mischievous as he looked toward me, and asked "So how has it been with Musi-chan, huh?"
I froze, and immediately looked away, and try to keep my voice steady. "What do you mean by that?"
"You know what I mean, Hijirikawa, don't beat around the bush," Jinguuji said.
I pause, mulling over my words, and respond, "I'm not sure."
"Don't be bashful now, Masato, don't you want to have her in your arms?" he questioned me while approaching me. My face reddens at the thought of Musical in my embrace, and I look away. "..."
I could feel Jinguuji's staring right behind me, and he soon whispered in my ears, saying "Well, I'd take her if I were you, or else someone like me could pass by and steal her away from you~—"
"NO!" I shout, and look at him. He smirked at me, and I immediately felt like crawling somewhere where I wouldn't be seen embarrassed of my random outburst. I don't understand myself at the moment. These days with Musical-san have made our relationship grow stronger, and I am grateful for them. It feels as though it has grown quickly to the height of a mountain, and it seems to be strong as one as well. My problem is trying to convey my strong feelings, as well as the school.
"Well someone's improved on opening up more~," said Jinguuji in a mocking manner.
"Shut up, and go to sleep."
~Next day~
~Third Person's POV~
The crowd of students were now clustered outside where a stage was prepared for every single play. It was time for one of the groups of the three girls to go up there to perform their play.
Oki peeps, so this is what I've prepared to lead up to the plays, and I'll add in them the names the characters go by and stuff. I know, I probably took a long time to do such a simple thing hehe, sowwy. Well, I'm planning on doing a full blown play for each of us three girls, so they will probably be pretty long maybe, or who knows? I might shorten it, or you can let me know. Also, should I split it in parts? And, because of the possibly lengthy plays, I wanted to maybe add in special chapters so in case I don't get to update, I can just publish those little chapters. What are your thoughts? See ya!!
