During music camp at Yamato High School, Hoshiko was practicing her baton twirling along with Katrinna Mae and Suzume, two juniors, and one freshmen. They were selected to do a routine to help raise money for their school's music class. The first prize could also pay for Hoshiko, Suzume, and Katrinna Mae's college scholarships. Yuuna, now the new girl's gym coach, was leading them.

"Now, girls, let's practice our spinning, tossing, and twirling," Yuuna says, and begins to show the girls what she wants them to do, "Do five of these, then we can get to our routine. Got it?" "Yes ma'am!" the girls said. They began practicing.

"I can't wait for the contest," Hoshiko said, spinning around, tossing her baton in the air, and twirls it after catching it. Suzume says, "I know. I'm wanting to get the scholarship for a sport's college. The one I want to go to will be there to see the routine." "I'm trying to do my best for dance college," Katrinna Mae said, catching the baton, "I want to open my own dance studio."

"The music college that wants me," Hoshiko said, "they're gonna be there for my scholarship too." After everyone was done, Yuuna grabbed her baton and said, "No that everyone's finished with your warm ups, we can get to the routine. Our song will be Lil' Chris's song, 'Beautiful Love.' I'll show you, then we'll go step by step."

Yuuna turns the music on and shows the girls their routine. She twirls the baton in her right hand first, and tosses it into the air, spinning, and catching it in her left hand. She tosses it to her right hand and begins to twirl it above her head, grabs both ends with both hands, and tosses it in the air. Yuuna then spins around and twirls, and then kicks her right leg out, then the left; repeating it four times.

Once she finishes, Yuuna says, "Let's slowly take it from the top." As they began, Hinata, Kenji, and Mayu were watching them. "Wow! Auntie Hoshi is amazing!" exclaimed Hinata, "I want to be like her when I get older!" "I know you will be Little Butterfly," said Kenji.

Mayu says, "Yuuna was a majorette in school, and she did many other things in college. Once she became girls' gym teacher, the school let her also be the majorette coach and sponsor." "I'm glad this could help Little Star out," Kenji said, "She's gonna put half the prize money into her college funds, and the other half for our wedding."

"We explained this to Mommy and Daddy as well Uncle Kenji," said Hinata, "and they want to help." "I know Hinata," Kenji said. He soon watches his fiance dance to the routine. Hoshiko knows her future husband is watching her, so she smiles and gives him an air kiss when she spins around. Hinata said, "Alright Uncle Kenji! Auntie Hoshi kissed you from a distance."

"Maybe Auntie Hoshi is trying to show your uncle how much she loves him," Mayu said. Kenji says, "No matter what, I'll always love Hoshiko." The girls soon finished their routine. Yuuna said, "Okay. We'll have five more days to practice this, and in six days is the competition. Hoshiko, because you're the majorette leader, you wear the red head piece. Katrinna Mae and Little Sparrow, you get the blue ones, and you other girls get the black ones."

They soon gathered their stuff, and left the school ground. Hoshiko and the others stopped by the cafe. Yuuna was playing with Yuuzu, and tells Hoshiko, Suzume, and Katrinna Mae, "You girls did good for the first day of practice. Just work on the kicks and twirling at the same time, okay." "Yes Cousin Yuu," Suzume said. Yuuzu was clapping and giggling. "I see someone is cheering for you girls," said Gozu.

Yuuna said, "It may be because Yuuzu saw me and Little Sparrow practice at home. And she probably wants to be our cheerleader." "I'll give Little Yuu my old cheer leading Halloween costume I wore as a baby," said Suzume. Hoshiko said, "If we do win, I'm putting half the money into my college savings, and the other half for other things in the future."

"I honestly can't wait," Katrinna Mae said, "Lil' Chris even sung the song to me so I can practice. Him and Hajime will be there." "Make sure she doesn't flirt with the men or male judges," said Hoshiko. Suzume said, "Hoshiko does have a point, and I want to win, but not by a bribe from a beautiful model." Mayu brings their drinks in and said, "Either way, with how great your majorette team is, you will definitely win the contest, and go to Tokyo for national contest." "I agree with Mayu," said Gozu, "You even put in a lot of effort during class. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna light a cigeratte outside." Gozu puts a cigeratte in his mouth, and takes it outside so he can smoke it.

Yuuna said, "Just make sure you can come to as many camps as possible. I want you girls to place first. Let's give it our all so we can win!" "Yah!" Hoshiko, Suzume, and Katrinna Mae said.

Yuuzu was beginning to cry. "Calm down sweetie," Yuuna said to her daughter, rocking her. Hoshiko asked, "Is she okay?" Yuuna said, "She does this when Gozu is not around," and tells Yuuzu, "Calm down. Daddy will be in here with you."

Gozu put his cigarette in the ash tray, and rushes to his baby girl. He grabs her and says, "I'm sorry Yuuzu. Daddy didn't mean to be away that long." Yuuzu began to calm down in her father's arms.

"Of course," said Mayu, "That's Onii-chan for you." Hoshiko said, "I have to go home. Mom wants me to practice in front of her." Soon, Hoshiko gets up and leaves.

Hoshiko was practicing her routine in her backyard. Kenji and Hinata were watching her as well. After she finishes her routine, Natsumi, Chiyoka, Daisu, and Shouta applause. "That was wonderful, Little Star!" Natsumi says to her daughter.

Hoshiko says, "We did put a lot of effort. And besides, I have my lucky charm with me to help me do great." "Of course," Kenji says, "she's referring to me. She'll be the brightest star to twinkle on the stage, right Little Star?"

"Yah, I know Kenji," Hoshiko says. Chiyoka says, "We'll cheer for you Onee-chan!" "Yah Onee-san, do your best!" Daisu says. "I can't wait to see Katrinna Mae as well there," Shouta says, "and of course, I'll cheer for you and the team Hoshiko."

"Thanks Onii-san," she says, "I manly want to use half of my money for college, and the other half for my wedding and daughter." "It's really great to know you're thinking about her Onee-chan," says Chiyoka.

The majorette team was on their way to Tokyo Dome. "I am totally pumped for this contest!" Hoshiko says. Suzume says, "I hope the judges like our routine." "Lil' Chris is one of the judges," Katrinna Mae says, "and I told him not to trick the other judges into choosing us as winners, because I don't want to cheat." "I guess that's a perk of being adopted by an American rapper, and a Japanese model Katrinna Mae," Suzume says.

"We hope you guys win!" Akemi, Otoya, and Neji say, sitting in a seat behind them. Hoshiko asks, "Why are you on the bus?!" "We are a part of the newspaper and yearbook club anyway," says Akemi, "so I came here to journalize the event."

"I'm helping Dad and Osamu out, and bringing the CD," says Otoya. Neji says, "And I came to take pictures with the camera I borrowed from Dad." "Is that all?" Katrinna Mae asks. Akemi says, "Of course we came to cheer you on." "What's the point of coming if we don't show our support," Otoya says. "Besides," says Neji, "I want to see my girlfriend and my precious baby cousin win." They soon arrived to the stadium. "Wow!" says Suzume, "There are more people here than there were at the wrestling match."

"When I came here when I was little," Katrinna Mae says, "this place seemed really big. But now that I'm a teenager, and live in Japan, it doesn't seem so big after all." Hoshiko says, "I understand you. Even little kids that live here have a hard time capturing it in their eyes." Yuuna gathers the girls for a small meeting.

"Alright girls," Yuuna says, "We're going to be the last group to go on. Which means we can have more time to go over it again. There a big area off stage where we can rehearse the dance. Out of the 15 schools competing in this competition, we have to try our best to top them. So are we going to win this thing?!" "Yah!" the team says.

They head back stage to the practice area, and get into position. Otoya meets up with his father and brother. Yuuna nods for them to play the soundtrack, and has the girls do their routine.

Lil' Chris and Hajime take Kenji, Hinata, Reika, Fujitaka, and Natsumi backstage. Gozu, who was cradling Yuuzu, says, "Oh. You guys are back here." "I persuaded the host to bring them here," says Lil' Chris. Hajime says, "That was very nice of you Chrissy," hugging her boyfriend.

Hinata says, "Coach Utako! How's the routine going?" "Just fine Hinata," says Gozu, "the girls are rehearsing it since they're last." "Why are they last?" Hinata asks. Reika says, "Well, you know what they say."

"Save the best for last," Fujitaka says. "I have to agree," says Kenji, "especially since one of the best is the love of my life." Gozu says, "I believe we'll win for sure." At the end of the routine, Hoshiko sees her fiance talk to Gozu.

"Kenji!" Hoshiko says, running to him, and kissing him as she gives him a hug. Kenji says, "I see my Little Star is twinkling as bright as she can." Hoshiko says, "I have to twinkle for you on stage."

"Baby cousin," says Neji, "Come over here so we can get a picture of you and the team." "Okay Neji," Hoshiko says, and then kisses her fiance, "See you on stage Kenji." "You too," says Kenji.

Hoshiko goes back over with the group. Little did everyone know, Wakana, Astar, Rikiya, and Tenma were spying on them. "Me and Astar will handle the judges," Wakana says, "Little brother. You and Tenma will go down there and try to take the princess."

"Yes Nee-san," Rikiya says, "and Warui seems to be missing out. Especially with those girls looking pretty sexy in those outfits, including Princess Hoshiko." Astar whacks him in the head with her fan and says, "Stick to the plan, idoit!"

"Okay," Rikiya says, grabbing his head. Wakana takes Astar to the judges, and takes their energy. Hoshiko, Suzume, and Katrinna Mae hear the noise. "What was that?" Yuuna asks.

Suzume says, "That's the sound of bad news!" "Don't tell me," Katrinna Mae says. Hoshiko says, "I believe so." When they run to see what happened, Rikiya and Tenma stopped them. "Oh you silly Princess," Rikiya says, "There's no way we're letting you get through. I might say, that outfit is not bad." "Cut this crap out already, and tell what the hell happened!" Hoshiko exclaims.

Tenma says, "Don't be so pushy. Or else we'll have our little playmates try and hurt you." "Playmates?" Akemi asks. Otoya says, "You must mean?" They see the demon dog versions of two judges.

After transforming, Hoshiko yells, "By the power of music! For the love of harmony and peace on Earth! I'll make sure you seek justice!" The judges attack Yuuna. Suzume runs over there and throws a baton at the demon dog. "GET OFF OF HER, YOU STUPID MUTTS!" she exclaims.

Yuuzu was whining as Gozu was hiding with her behind a speaker. He says, "Don't worry darling. The Music Guardian will make sure they don't hurt Mommy." "MEDUSA STONE GLARE!" Otoya exclaims, lifting his eyeguards up, making a demon dog turn to stone. Neji yells, "ANGEL SHINING LOVE!" making a big white beam of light form a heart around the stone-turned demon dog, crushing it to give the judge his energy back.

Tenma sees Gozu and Yuuzu behind the speaker, and says, "If you'll excuse me, I'll handle this man and his daughter we failed to get." He jumps down there, and gets in front of them.

"No then," Tenma says, "Surrender your baby to me, or I will use my machine to disintergrate you!" "Like hell I will do that to my baby!" Gozu exclaims. Katrinna Mae yells, "BEAR WEIGHTED PIN-DOWN!" making her weights keep Tenma down.

"SAKURA BLADED CHAIN!" Akemi yells, putting sharp sakura petals on her chain, wrapping it around Tenma, who was bleeding, "Give up?!" "Even when I'm chained like this, I will not give up!" "LOVE BIRDS PIERCING FEATHERS!" causing her arrows to attack as they formed into feathers, attacking Tenma.

"Mayu?" Katrinna Mae asks. Mayu says, "I came here when I saw the judges, and heard screams. So I guessed that the Dark Musicians were back here, and I was right!" "That just means more people to help us!" Hoshiko says.

"Yeah!" Kenji exclaims, grabbing four lightening bolts, "ANGEL'S LIGHTENING STANCE!" zapping the other demon dog in place. "ANGEL'S HALO BARRAGE!" Hoshiko exclaims, making her halo thrust forward towards the demon dog, giving the other judge her energy back.

The girls were cheering for them. Gozu and Yuuzu get up from their hiding spot. After the girls got untransformed, Yuuna says, "You girls just missed it! The Music Guardians saved us from those bad people!" "And one of them, who looked just like Mayu, saved me and Yuuzu," Gozu says.

"Really?" Hoshiko says. Suzume says, "Shouldn't we still practice?" "Oh yeah!" Yuuna says. She gathers the girls. Nanami, who captured the fight on video, says, "I just saw my honey, the Masked Guardian!" Now it was time for Yamato High School to perform. "Ladies and gentlemen," the host says, "put your hands together for Yamato High School, dancing to Lil' Chris's 'Beautiful Love!'" He moves so the girls can do their dance. As they were dancing and twirling their batons, Kenji and Hinata were cheering.

"Shine as bright as you can Little Star!" Kenji says. Hinata says, "Come on Auntie Hoshi, Suzume Onee-chan, and Katrinna Mae Onee-chan! Put your all into it!" As Akemi was taking notes for the report, and Neji takes pictures, they say, "Go Yamato High School!"

The girls strick a pose after they were done. Everybody cheered, and Yuuzu was clapping. Gozu says, "Mommy did a good job coaching them, didn't she Yuuzu?" "She knows for sure they will win," says Mayu. "Yay Onee-chan!" Chiyoka says. Daisu says, "Way to go Onee-san!" "Good work Sis!" Shouta says, "You too Katrinna Mae!"

"That's my Little Star!" Kenji and Natsumi say. The host says, "Now that our last group is done, our judges came to a decision. Lil' Chris, you may announce the winning group."

Lil' Chris gets up on stage and says, "The winner is," and looks at the piece of paper, "Yamato High School!" The girls were jumping up and down. Hoshiko grabs the trophy with Suzume and Katrinna Mae. Yuuna gets into the stage with the girls.

"Yay! We won! We won!" Hinata says, "Hooray for Auntie Hoshi!" After the group get their picture taken, Hoshiko hugs Kenji, saying, "I got the scholarship and future money dear." "That's my Little Star," says Kenji, "Now we can save more for the wedding and Hitomi."

"I can't wait to become Mrs. Kenji Nakamoto," Hoshiko says. Kenji says, "Neither can I. I love you so much, words can't describe how I feel about you." "That's not bad for your first time flirty with my little cousin," Neji says.

"Oh shut up Neji," Hoshiko says blushing. Neji laughs and says, "I'm kidding younger cousin. I'm happy you two are almost married, and that we won."

Nanami runs to Kenji and says, "Coach Kenji! I'm happy to find you! I saw the Masked Guardian, and of course the ugly as always Guardian Hoshiko!" Hoshiko got mad and says, "I won the contest with my friends, and now you're saying that?!"

"Go away Granny!" Nanami says, "Coach Kenji is mine!" and she sticks her tongue out. Kenji says, "Nanami. Me and Miss Hoshiko are are in love. So stop making fun of her." Nanami says, "But I want you to be in love with me Coach Kenji!"

"Damn. First thing after we won, and this happens," Katrinna Mae says. Suzume says, "Yup. That's Nanami for you. You should see the pictures she bring to practice that she drew of her and Kenji."

Yuuna was holding Yuuzu. "Are you happy for Mommy and the team honey?" asks Yuuna. Yuuzu says, "Win." "She said her first word," says Gozu. Yuuzu says, "Win. Win." "That's right Yuuzu," Yuuna says to her baby daughter, "We did win. I know you and Daddy were cheering for us."

"Looks like we accomplished two things," Mayu says. Suzume says, "Yah. We won the majorette contest, and Little Yuu says her first words."
