"So you wear your elementary uniform first, then change into your high school uniform Takara," Hoshiko asked Takara as they, Akemi, and Suzume walk to school. Takara replied, "Yep. Then when music class is over, I change back into my elementary school uniform for my next class. It's actually not that bad."

As they continued to walk, they look at people working on the old warehouse. That warehouse will soon become a new cafe for the public. The cafe will be called Cafe Utako. It's name comes from the owners. A worker puts a sign infront of the soon to be cafe that says, "Welcome to Cafe Utako."

Hoshiko says, "I heard about that place over there. Me and my family are going to the grand opening tomorrow night. Are you guys in?" Akemi says, "Yah!" "I'm going too," Takara says happily, "I can't wait to eat a lot of their food too!" Suzume doesn't say anything. She just looks at the construction and thinks about the name Utako.

As Suzume was deep in thought, Hoshiko asks her, "You seem dazed Suzume. Is something wrong?" "Nothing really," she replies, "I was just thinking about the cafe." "Do you know the owners or something?" Akemi asks. Before she could say anything, Suzume sees a girl peering from behind a tree in schoolyard.

The girl had long, orange and magenta hair with half of it in pigtails and the rest let down. Her pigtails were put in bass guitar hair ties. She also had magenta eyes and rosy cheeks. After seeing Suzume, the mysterious girl hid back behind the tree.

"I know that girl," Suzume says. When she went behind the tree, Suzume sees that girl and says, "What are you doing hiding behind this tree Mayu?" "N-nothing," the girl says.

The young girl who was hiding behind the tree, her name was Mayu Utako. She and Suzume were childhood friends. So that's how they know each other. Mayu was bullied because of her unique hair color and her shyness. Suzume would tell the boys to leave Mayu alone, and they would.

"You're not gonna introduce us Suzume?" Hoshiko asks. Suzume says, "Oh that's right." She then looks at Mayu and says, "Go on. Say your name." Mayu turns shyly to them as she hides behind Suzume and says, "M-Mayu. M-My name is Mayu." "It's nice to meet you Mayu," Akemi says.

After Hoshiko, Akemi and Takara introduce themselves, Takara asks Mayu, "Why were you hiding behind a tree?" "Uh, I, uh I-I," Mayu doesn't know what to say. Suzume tells them, "Mayu is a very shy person when it comes to meeting new people." She then looked at Mayu and said, "So what are you doing in Yamato High School Mayu?"

"W-well uh," Mayu says shyly, "M-my parents' got transferred here in Yamato City. So they enrolled me here at Yamato High School. My Onii-chan works here, so I think I'll be all right here."

"Wow, that's great Mayu!" Suzume tells her childhood friend, "What are your parents doing?" "Uh," Mayu says, "I-It's a surprise. My mother told me to wait and tell my new class as I introduce myself." The bell rang and the girls, and Mayu, rushed to class.

(in the classroom)

"All right students," the teacher for Class 1-A says, "We have a new student who will be starting today." Mayu get infront of the class and shyly says, "H-Hi. M-my name is Mayu Utako. And m-my parents transferred me here to Yamato High School because they're gonna open up their new cafe tomorrow, Cafe Utako."

The students were surprised. Suzume thinks to herself, So that's the surprise. Mayu's parents are the owners of the new cafe. After passing out invitations to her new classmates, Mayu gets startled when Hikaru burst into the classroom and looks at her.

"Yeppie!" Hikaru yells in excitement, "My older twin sister has a cute new classmate!" and jumps toward Mayu. Mayu was crying and running around the classrom saying, "HELP ME! SOMEONE SAVE ME FROM THIS CRAZY BOY!!!" Akemi jumps towards Hikaru, who was chasing Mayu,  and punches him. "YOU IDIOT PERVERT! !!" Akemi screams, "STOP ACTING LIKE A DUMBASS AND GET BACK TO CLASS!"

She then carried her unconscious twin and said,  "Sorry Sensei,  but I have to carry my stupid brother to Akari nee-chan in the nurse's office ." When Akemi left, Hoshiko and Suzume comforted a startled Mayu who was sitting on the floor. "T-that was embarrassing! " Mayu said as she sits in her seat.

(in music class)

"WHAT?!" Takara says excitedly,  "YOU TRANSFERRED HERE BECAUSE YOUR PARENTS ARE OPENING THE NEW CAFE TOMORROW?!" Mayu says, "Y-yes. I'm helping them out with the family business.  M-my father told me one day, I'll own the business."

Suzume asks Mayu, "When we saw you in the schoolyard and you saw me, then why didn't you walk to where I was?" "I-I didn't recognize you Suzume," Mayu says, "You changed so much since we were kids. Y-you've gotten taller, you hair shorter, and you have a larger bust than me."

Suzume looks at Mayu and says, "Oh come on Mayu. You changed as well. You grew taller, and got a bit well-endowed too. And I didn't recognize you either now that you have pigtails." Takara grew angry at Suzume about the chest comment.

"W-well," Mayu says, "I-I thought I could stop wearing my mother's hair style and change to something of my own." "And why are you encouraging her about breast growth Suzume!" Takara says. Suzume laughs and says, "Because Mayu actually has boobs that are bigger than yours, you little veggie cutting board."

Takara growls and hits Suzume's large boobs with her fists. "The more you do that, the more it won't work Takara," Suzume says. Takara yells, "OH YAH! I'LL MAKE THOSE STUPID, GIANT CUPCAKES FALL OFF OF YOUR CHEST AND HAVE MAYU PUT THEM ON THE MENU AT HER CAFE!"

The girls look at them. "D-does this always happen Hoshiko and Akemi?" Mayu asks them. Akemi says woth an annoyed look on her face, "Only if they make breasts comments to each other." "Exactly," Hoshiko says.

(at the Dark Music Kingdom)

"*cough* T-that bratty little Music Guardian!" Takeshi says, still recovering from Takara's typhoon attack. Wakana yells, "We need form a three man squad in order to defeat thoae ignorant Guardians! I just want to complete our mission to get Princess Hoshiko and kill her!"

Rikiya walks into the room, with his injuries recovered, and says, "I agree with Nee-san. If me, her, and Astar go in, then we can use some of the demon dogs to fight the girls as well. This will make sure none of them could try to hurt us."

Astar walks in behind him and says, "Hm, you do have a point Rikiya. And I heard that tomorrow,  a girl who transferred to the school the other girls go to, her parents will be opening a cafe. And the four girls we know and hate will be there for the event. The demon dog I used at the basketball game recovered already. So it'll be useful for battle."

"I like it," Wakana says, "But before we work out strategies for the battle, I have to heal Takeshi." Astar and Rikiya nod as they leave the room. Wakana plays a note on her clarinet and says, "DEMONS' FIRE HEALING TECHNIQUE!" as a thing of soundwave flames formed over Takeshi as they were healing him.

(at Hoshiko's house)

Hoshiko invited the girls over to her house to talk about strategies for the fifth member of the team. "Hi girls," Yukinari says, sitting on the sofa in the living room as he was drinking a bottle of sake. "STOP DOING THAT!" Hoshiko yells to him.

Natsumi walks in and says, "It's fine Hoshiko. I know Yukinari. He was friends with your father. And because I hadn't seen him in a while after your father's death, I thought it would be nice to let him in and invite him over for dinner. I have plenty if you girls are hungry."

Hoshiko says, "I did not know that Mom." "Oh boy!" Takara says, "I can't wait for dinner!" Yukinari tells the girls, "I need to have a word with you four," as he lead the girls to Hoshiko's room. Natsumi looks at them as she thinks about what was going on.

Just one more girl for you team Hoshiko, she thinks to herself, one more. Natsumi knew about the whole Music Guardian thing, and knew the truth about Hidehida's death. On the night of Hidehida's funeral, she heard from Kazuma about Hoshiko being the next target for the Dark Musicians.

Kazuma had to put power into Hoshiko, and Natsumi asked her if she can put half of Hidehida's power into her so she can protect Hoshiko. Natsumi isn't royalty, or an angel of the Music Kingdom, but has some of the powers of a Music Guardian.

(flashback)

Natsumi quitly shut the door after putting young Hoshiko to sleep. She heard a knock on her door. Kazuma was standing onthe porch and was let in by Natsumi.

Kazuma asked, "May we talk Natsumi?" Natsumi just nodded and prepared tea for her mother-in-law.  "It's about Hoshiko isn't it?"asked Natsumi. "My my," Kazuma says with a smirk on her face, "you're just like my son aren't you. I see why you two made the perfect couple. And yes, this is about Hoshiko. I came here to tell you that she has the powers of a Music Guardian."

This was a surprise to Natsumi. She took the tea to Kazuma and said, "So the train wreck, and Hidehida's death-!" "It was all planned by the Dark Musicians," Kazuma informs her daughter-in-law, "They used their music, and music energy to make a huge blizzard hoping the train will crush into the mountain, and crash the train.  When that didn't work,  they decided to knock the train carts down, and squish some of the victims to try to kill Hidehida. Now that he was gone, and his music energy was recovered but they failed to receive it, they thought it would be great to target Hoshiko, since she's his daughter and all."

"What should we do?" Natsumi says. Kazuma asked her, "She's asleep, right?" Natsumi nodded yes. "I have no choice but to store some extra music energy into her," Kazuma explains, after sipping some of Natsumi's tea, "I didn't just use mine, Hotaru, Hidehida, and Hajime's music energy. I had to use other Music Guardians' music energy and put it into Hoshiko to make her strong for when she does become a Guardian herself. She can't become a Music Guardian now, she's to young, which would make it easy for a young princess like her to get captured by the Dark Musicians. "

"So how long do we have to wait?" Natsumi asked. Kazuma sipped her tea and said, "I say, eleven years. I will start the sealing now. Show me to her room." When they were there in Hoshiko's room, Kazuma had Natsumi wait in the hall.

Natsumi watches as Kazuma puts a single finger on Hoshiko's forehead. She then said, "Angel's Sky Sealing Technique," as a gold quarter note shined on her forehead, and a purple one on Hoshiko's. Random colored lights were swirling around Kazuma's arm as the energy transfers to Hoshiko's body.

After Kazuma exits Hoshiko's room, Natsumi looks at her and asks, "You still have some extra energy left, right?!" Kazuma turns around and asks, "Why what do you need it for?"

Natsumi tells her that Hidehida's last wish was for her to do what's best for both her and Hoshiko, and she wants her to put some music energy into her to try to protect Hoshiko. Kazuma nods and says, "Okay, but you'll end up with Hidehida's music energy, and have his powers. I'll have to put a Guardian Mark on your forehead. Is that understood Natsumi?" She then nods.

Kazuma places a finger on Natsumi's forehead says, "Angel's Sky Sealing Mark Technique!" as the same energy goes into Natsumi. A red quarter note was forming on her forehead. After the sealing was done,  Natsumi ended up having Hidehida's powers.

"Anything else?" Kazuma asks her daughter-in-law. Natsumi tells her no as Kazuma leaves. I promise to protect you Hoshiko. I will be doing what's best for both of us, and your father.

(end of flashback)

As Natsumi was preparing dinner, Yukinari was in Hoshiko's room with her and the other girls. They were talking about where they could find the fifth Guardian at.

"In case you didn't know," Yukinari informed the girls, "I'll be performing at the grand opening of a new cafe tomorrow." Suzume asked, "Are you talking about Cafe Utako, Yukinari?" "Yes," he said, "Why?"

"An old friend of her's," Hoshiko says, "is the daughter of the owners. And she's very protective of her." Yukinari opens a bottle of sake, takes a sip, and says, "That's the reason why I'll be going there."

"Why Mayu?!" asked Suzume. "I sensed some unusual type of  music energy in her," Yukinari says, "but I'm sure she is a Music Guardian like you four. But there is a possibility she could be a Dark Musi-," "What a minute!" Suzume says furiously.

"Huh?" Yukinari questions. Suzume says, "How could my childhood friend be a villain! I've known Mayu since our preschool days, and I know she wouldn't do anything like that. Especially for a shy girl like her!"

"I was just saying it was a possibil-," Yukinari was trying to say, but an angry Suzume interrupted him. "Just don't say anymore!" she told him as she stormed downstairs. "SUZUME!" Yukinari tried to chase after her, but was stopped by Akemi.

"Let her calm down Yukinari," Akemi told him. Yukinari asks her, "What's was wrong with Suzume? All I said was it was a possibilty." "We know," Takara says, "but Suzume was the only friend Mayu had."

Hoshiko said, "Takara's right Yukinari. Suzume told us that Mayu got picked on a lot and couldn't defend herself. So Suzume would stand up for her." "Now I see," Yukinari says.

(downstairs)

Natsumi sees Suzume rush down the stairs and asks, "You're not gonna stay for dinner Suzume?" "Sorry Mrs. Shuruki-Kurutsuki," Suzume tells her, still mad at Yukinari, "but my mother just called me and told me to hurry home." Suzume then puts her shoes on, checks them to see if they're on, and then storms out of the house.

I wonder what that was about, Natsumi thinks to herself as she prepares the plates. On her way home, Suzume was thinking about her past. She looked up at the starry night sky and thinks to herself, There's no way Mayu could be one of the Dark Musicians. I'm not even sure about her being a Music Guardian either.

(flashback)

Three preschool boys were picking on a young Mayu, as she was trying to have them stop picking on her. "Come on girly," one of the brats told Mayu, "tell us how you got your hair to be colored like that, and we'll leave you alone."

Mayu was startling with fear as she says, "B-but I keep telling you. I was born w-with it. I-It's natural," as she began to cry a little. "That's not a good enough answer rainbow head!" the little boy said as he laughed with his friends.

"Hey you!" a little girl says, "LOSERS!" then stands infront of Mayu with a basketball in her arm. It was young Suzume with long black and green hair, her hair strand put in her hair tie. "Stop picking on innocent little girls and beat it!" she tells them. The boy told her, "Why don't you leave. We want to know how this girl got her hair colored like that. If she was actually born with that color of hair, then her parents must be hideous!"

"If she says she was born with it," Suzume tells then, "then she was born with it! I was born with my hair color like this too!" He and his friends started laughing at Suzume. Then she threw a ball in his face and he fell to the ground.

Mayu looked at Suzume and thought to herself, W-who is this girl?, then Suzume looks at the boy's friends and asks, "Does anyone else want some of this?" The boys ran away, and their friend got up and ran with them.

"Those little jerkwads!" Suzume says to herself, "What's wrong with them? " When Suzume turned around, Mayu startled a little and flinched, thinking Suzume would hurt her. Suzume stuck her hand out to help Mayu up.

"Are you alright?" Suzume asked her as she helped her up. Mayu looked at Suzume and said, "U-uh. Yah. I-I'm fine. T-thanks for saving me. I'm sorry I had to pull you into that mess." Suzume looked at Mayu and said, "But they were making fun of you. So don't apologize for something that I did to help you with. My name is Suzume Hara."

"I-I'm Mayu," she told Suzume, "Is it true that you were born with your hair like that like me?" Suzume laughed a little and said, "Uh huh. Don't worry about what those punks tell you Mayu, I think your hair looks great!"

Mayu blushed and said, "Thank you. Could you be my friend Suzume?" Suzume looks at her and says, "Sure!" with a big smile on her face. "I-I'm just so shy and scared most of the times," Mayu tells Suzume, "and it's hard for me to make friends. So far, you're the first friend I've made."

"Well I'm happy to be your friend Mayu," Suzume tells her, "And I'll protect you from those boys from now on!" She smiled and grabbed Mayu's hands.

(end of flashback)

Suzume arrives to her house, takes her shoes off, and storms up to her room. "You're home early Suzume," Haruko told her daughter while preparing some onigiri, "Don't you want some of your favorite food, onigiri?" "No thanks Mom!" Suzume says, "I'm just gonna take my bath and go to bed!" and disappears to the bathroom.

She must be mad about something, Haruko thought to herself, but I'll just take these onigiri balls up to her room with some carrot juice. She was preparing them as Suzume gets into the bath tub after stripping out of her clothes, and scrubing herself. Suzume also took her hair tie out and let her hair strand fall infront of her face.

I don't understand why Yukinari would talk about Mayu like that, Suzume thought to herself, This is just stupid. She notices that her mother prepared her dinner after she got out of the bath and changed into her pajamas. Suzume puts an onigiri in her mouth and drinks her carrot juice.

(the next day)

The girls got changed into their gym uniforms for gym class. Of course, Suzume is still mad for what Yukinari said about Mayu.

"I remembered you mentioned that your brother works here Mayu," Hoshiko says, "Mind if I asks who?" Mayu findles with her fingers and says, "U-uh well. H-he's in our-," "MAYU!!!" Hikaru exclaims happily.

Mayu started running away as fast as she could and screams. "HELP ME!" Mayu screams, "SOMEBODY HELP!" and the girls run after them. When Gozu got done talking to some boys, Mayu was hugging on to him and crying.

"ONII-CHAN! ONII-CHAN!" Mayu exclaims, "PLEASE HELP ME!! A PERVERTED BOY IS CHASING AFTER ME!" as she was hugging her older brother tightly. When Hikaru ran towards Mayu, Gozu punched him in the stomach and made him fall down.

"Just what do you think you're doing out of class and trying to get involved with my sister Hikaru," Gozu tells him. Hikaru was like, "Sister?" "Y-yes," Mayu says hiding shyly behind Gozu.

Gozu then gets an angry expression on his face, grabs Hikaru's collar and says, "Listen here you sleezeball. The next time you mess with my little sister again, I will make your life a living hell," and then lets go of his collar.

As Hikaru ran away, the girls walk up to where Mayu and Gozu were. "T-that was your brother Akemi?" Mayu asks Akemi. "Actually," Akemi says, "he's my younger twin brother. I know you may not believe it. Even I don't. "

"So Coach Utako," Hoshiko asks him, "Mayu is your little sister?" Gozu hugs his sister with one arm and says, "Yup. I'm Mayu's brother. When school days are going to be over with, me and her are helping our parents with the cafe."

Suzume then says, "Because our mothers are friends, and Gozu and Cousin Yuu are dating, me and Mayu are friends." "It's kind of like a family tradition for both families," Gozu explains, "and our mother was wanting to know if you three girls and Izome would stop by our house before we open up. She wants to meet you."

Hoshiko, Akemi and Suzume of course say yes. Mayu was like, "I-I'm looking forward to seeing you there," and then the bell rung. "All right girls," Gozu tells them, "Get changed and go to your next class." All of the girls left and got changed for music class.

(after school)

Suzume lead the girls to the Utako's place. She looked at the address and saw that the house was next to the cafe. "Is this the place Suzume?" Hoshiko asked. When Suzume saw the address, she said, "Yep. Looks like it," and knocked on the door.

A woman with long, orange hair, green eyes, and wearing a white kimono, with pink sleeve lines and yellow sun symbols decorated on it, opened the door. This was Mayu's mother. She said with a smile on her face, "Oh hi Suzume. Long time no see. You've changed a lot."

"Yep I have haven't I," Suzume says, "Oh right. These three girls with me are some friends of me and Mayu's. Hoshiko Shuruki, Akemi Hiroshio, and Takara Izome." The woman looks at them and says, "It's nice to meet you girls, my name is Kazuna Utako. I'm Mayu's mother and one of the cafe owners. Please come in."

The girls walked in and see Gozu sitting in a chair smoking a cigarette.  "Hey girls," he told them. Hoshiko asks, "Kazuna. Where's Mayu at?" "Oh she's upstairs helping her father with something," Kazuna tells Hoshiko. "Are they here Mother?" Mayu asks.

She then appears wearing a sea green kimono with lavendar sleeve edges, and brown bass guitars. Her pigtails pulled together in her bass guitar hair ties, a sea green maid like headband with bass guitars on each end, and a necklace and bracelet with pearls and two bass guitars on them.

"T-thanks for coming," Mayu says. A man with short, dark orange hair (like Gozu's hair), magenta eyes (like Mayu's eyes), and a cigarette in his mouth follows Mayu downstairs. "So these are the friends you told me about Mayu?" he asks his daughter.

She nods as he looks at them and waves. "Hi there," he tells them, "I'm Mayu's father, Noboru Utako. I'm also one of the owners of the cafe." Akemi asks, "How were you able to buy the old warehouse and make it into a cafe Kazuna?"

"Well," she tells Akemi, "Noboru happened to have a pretty good salary in our savings account and wanted to help fullfil my biggest dream, owning a cafe. So he heard about the old warehouse and got lucky, and bought it. We hope to get as many customers as we can."

"Shouldn't we get going Mother and Father?" Mayu asked. Kazuna looked at the time and said, "You're right Mayu. Let's go get things ready before we open." "Is it okay if we help," Suzume asks her.

Kazuna smiles and says, "Sure, why not?" They soon headed out to the cafe and started getting things prepared. Mayu and Kazuna helping the chefs make samples of each of the dishes, Gozu and Noboru swept and mopped the floor, and Hoshiko, Akemi, Suzume, and Takara placed plates on each table with forks, spoons, knives, and napkins.

"That was hard work," Kazuna says, "but we managed to get things done before we open the doors." Noboru looked at his watch and says, "Just in time to, let's open them right away."

Him and Kazuna walk toward both of the doors and opened them to great the guests. "Welcome to Cafe Utako!" they tell the customers, "You may come in." The folks walked in and took there seats.

"Kazuna," Suzume's mother, Haruko, called from the door, standing with Yuuna. Haruko walks to where Kazuna is and hugs her. Her and Kazuna have been friends since high school. They had a friendly rivalry, but cared about each other.

"It's been a while Haruko," Kazuna says. Haruko laughs and says, "Yep. Before Suzume left for school this morning, she told me that Mayu moved to Yamato High School because you and Noboru opened this cafe up. I really just wanted to see my old friend. Yuuna came along to see Gozu."

Yuuna hugs Gozu when he walks up to her. Hoshiko tells Suzume, "You were right Suzume." Yuuna says, "Hey Little Sparrow. Where's Gentle One (Mayu's nickname) at. I really want to see her." Suzume sees Mayu behind her and says, "Right here Cousin Yuu."

Mayu sees Yuuna and says, "H-hi Yuuna," while hiding behind Suzume. Yukinari walks into the cafe to entertain the guests. Suzume sees him and walks away with an angry expression in her face.

"Is she still mad?" Yukinari asks. Takara walks up to him, while stuffing her face with samples of the cake from the cafe, and says to him, "Yep. And she won't talk about it either." "I noticed that last night when she got home," Haruko tells the girls, "but she didn't want me to know for some strange reason."

Akemi told Haruko, "I think it's best if you don't know Mrs. Hara." Yukinari gets on stage and makes and introductory.

"Good evening Yamato City!" He says to the customers, "I would like to thank the owners, Noboru and Kazuna Utako, for letting me come out here to perform. Please enjoy their food tonight as I sing my new song, 'Freaky Lover.'"

Before he sung, Wakana, Rikiya, and Astar burst into the dining room and took energy from a guest. "You never told us about this Yukinari," Kazuna says. Yukinari tells her, "I didn't plan this at all for my performance."

"Guardian Hoshiko!" Wakana says, "We know you and your friends are here. So come out and fight us!" Yukinari had the guest go into the halls. Astar helped Rikiya make a soundwave monster with the energy from the customer, and she used some to make an evil form of it with her demon dog.

Hoshiko and the girls ran to the bathroom, played their instruments, and transformed. "Don't think about hurting these innocent people Wakana!" Hoshiko yells, "By the power of music, for the love of harmony and peace on Earth, I will make sure you seek justice!"

"And we'll make sure you seek pain," Rikiya tells her. He played his casanets and said, "DEMON'S WATER SHARK BASIN!" as a shark headed towards the girls.

"MERMAID'S WATER BEARING TYPOON!" Takara yells this as she plays her drums and created a whirlpool tunnel infront of the shark and washed it away and made it disintegrate. "Damn brat!" he tells Takara. Astar waves her fans and yells, "DEMON'S WIND CYCLONE!" and made a gust of wind create a spinning hole towrd the girls.

"LION'S ROARING EARTHQUAKE!" Suzume plays her guitar and slams her hand, and a lion's paw, down to the ground hard and made the cyclone disappear in the trench. Wakana says, "I see you're getting stronger, but we will not be defeated by you."

"DEMON'S FIRE VINES!" after yelling this, Wakana had the fire look like jungle vines. "SAKURA DRAGON INFERNO!" Akemi plays her keytar to make her dragon breath soundwaves and sakura petals to cut the vines. "HHEELLP MEE!" Mayu screams being held hostage by Rikiya. Suzume says, "Hey! Let that girl go!"

Astar puts her fan infront if her face like a geisha girl and tells Suzume, "Sorry Miss Melons, but we can't do that. We can sense some energy in this girl, and I think it might be useful." Hoshiko sings into her microphone and makes a halo with her music energy and yells, "ANGEL'S HALO TRAP!" and throws the halo toward Rikiya.

Wakana yells, "DEMON FIRE RUSH!" and makes her flames rush towards the halo and burn it. "This won't work again!" Astar says.

Suzume gets knocked down by the demon dog when she ran towards Mayu to save her. G-Guardian Suzume? Mayu thinks to herself as she see her. "Suzume!" Hoshiko yells. She faces Wakana with hand to hand combat to get close to Mayu and Suzume to help them.

"Suzume!" Mayu tells her friend, "Get up! Don't let them hurt you!" She looks at Mayu and says, "H-how did y-you know it was me?" Mayu sheds a few tears and says, "I-I've known you for a long time Suzume. And I want to help you like you helped me."

Suzume dodges the demon dog as it tries to stomp on her. "But Mayu you can't!" Suzume says, "You're not capable for this!" Mayu says in a confident voice, "Please Suzume! I want to grow stronger!" Her forehead began to glow. She then yells, "I WANT TO GROW STRONGER TO PROTECT YOU!"

Two pink cranes formed a heart behind Mayu and made Rikiya fly off of Mayu as the energy from the cranes went to his chest. "You brat!" Rikiya yells as he put his hand on his hurting chest, "I WILL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THAT!"

"W-what's going on?" Mayu asks, "I-I didn't even touch him," as a pink bass guitar glowed on her forehead. When Yukinari sees this to see where the smoke came from, he grabs Mayu and takes her to a hallway.

"P-please don't hurt me!" Mayu cries, now feeling relieved that it was Yukinari. "It's all right Mayu," Yukinari says as he gave her a white, sea green, and pink bass guitar with a yellow heart in the middle of it with a sea green guitar strap, "You can fight and save Suzume."

Mayu grabs the bass guitar and says, "M-me? I-I'm not sure though." "You're a Music Guardian like the rest of the girls," Yukinari tells her, "and you can use your music to save the world. Play some notes on your instrument and transform Mayu."

Mayu played her bass guitar. Her body was wrapped in her music energy, pink soundwaves, around her body. She then appeared in a short, pink off the shoulder strapped dress with white fuzz on the top and bottom of it, matching gloves, over-sized choker, and boots. Her dress is stomachless and has a tiny hot pink bow with a brown bass guitar on it on her choker and dress, but the dress's bow has a long hot pink ribbon on it. Underneath her boots, Mayu wears sea green socks with ribbons on each side, sea green belts with sea green bass guitars over her waist and under her bust. Mayu wears bass guitar earrings and sea green eye shadow. Her hair is let down.

"W-What on Earth is this?!" Mayu says covering herself. Yukinari says, "Your transformation." Mayu shyly says, "I know, but, i-it's too, r-revealing." She then sees that Suzume is still on the ground.

When Suzume sees Mayu infront of her, she asks, "What are you doing Mayu?" "When were fighting, call me Guardian Mayu," she tells Suzume, "I'm one of you now. So I have to fight. To protect you!"

A lightening bolt land infront of the demon dog and exploded. The Masked Guardian appeared and finished the demon dog off. "Great job showing confidence Guardian Mayu," he tells her, "but use your heart too. Play your instrument, and say what comes to your heart, and you'll be sure to defeat them." "O-okay," Mayu says.

He then looks at Hoshiko and says, "See you around Guardian Hoshiko," and vanishes. Mayu looked at the soundwave monster and thinks to herself, Play my instrument, and say what comes to my heart.

Mayu's Guardian Mark showed up when she played some notes on her bass guitar. Two pink soundwave cranes danced behind her and formed a heart with their kiss."LOVE BIRDS' HEART ATTACK!!!" Mayu plays a note after yelling this, which went to the monster's chest and stunned it.

Hoshiko sung into her microphone to form a giant purple halo. She yelled, "ANGEL'S HALO TRAP!" and throws the halo towards the monster to trap it. After Hoshiko sings one last note, the halo and monster blew up.

"We're not going to stop Guardian Hoshiko!" Wakana exclaims angrily.  Astar, "This isn't over yet!" as her, Wakana and Rikiya left the restraunt. The unconscious customer regained her energy. Yukinari sung his new song and the customers ate the samples of each food.

"I'm sorry I snapped earlier Yukinari," Suzume tells him, when he was at Hoshiko and them's table. He said, "That's alright. It was my fault for suspecting your childhood friend of being a Dark Musician. And I apologize."

"So what do we do now?" Takara asks. "We fight to protect music and form alliances with other Music Guardians," Yukinari informs Takara, "We also have to protect the Music Kingdom's princess." "Who's the princess?" asked Hoshiko. Yukinari says, "You'll know later on Guardian Hoshiko."

The girls were enjoying themselves, and then Mayu brought a cake out of the kitchen and said, "Here we go. A big cake for all of us as a way to celebrate finding all of the teammates," with a big smile on her face. They all admired the cake.

Hoshiko looks at the small pieces of candy on the top that looked like them in their Guardian forms. She asked Mayu, "Did you decorate that part yourself Mayu?" as she points to the candies. "Why yes Hoshiko," Mayu says, "not only it's for decoration, you can eat it!" "WOW! REALLY MAYU?!" Takara says. Mayu nods yes as she cuts the cake and gave Takara a piece with herself on it.

Akemi eats the cake and says, "Wow Mayu you are a great cook!" "T-thanks Akemi," Mayu says happily.  Takara says, "Akemin is right. I would love to come back again and eat a ton of this cake Mayu!" "Thanks you guys," Mayu says.

"Enjoy your party girls," Yukinari says then walks over towards the table that Inu was sitting at. She, of course, was drinking a lot of sake. Yukinari sat down and started chugging a big amount of sake himself.

"So Princess Hoshiko found all four of her teammates huh Yukinari?" Inu asked before sipping her sake. Yukinari says, "Yes she did Inu. Now it's gonna be a while before she finds out they're fighting to protect her, and before she knows the truth of Hidehida's death," and takes a sip of sake.

Inu takes off her glasses to clean them as she nods in agreement. She pushes her glasses back towards her eyes and says, "You're right. But let's just enjoy a few drinks tonight, okay?" "Okay," Yukinari says.
